John 3:16:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son."

I came home from school weary and unhappy. When I entered the house and collected myself, I saw my dad waiting for me sitting on the couch. It was late in the evening, so I asked him why he was still up, and he replied that he waits for me to make sure I'm home safely. He always did that, and he even monitored me every time and cooked meals for me and us without minding the time or whether he was tired or not. My heart melts for that, and he reminds me how God did it to me as well. 

I never get tired of thanking God for giving me a father like him. A father who's ready to sacrifice his own life and is not tired of everything for the sake of his daughter and family. A father's love is different as it is.

God is a reflection of how our fathers care for and show their love for us. God also sacrifices His own life for our safety, and He also monitors us every time we get silent or feel that the world has betrayed us. His love for us is unreplaceable and genuine. A Father who's willing to do everything for His children's sake. And because of that love, He gave His only begotten son just to save us from our sins.
