Diego P.O.V

One night Shira and I were talking about our past. How we had fun moments and goofy. Then a thunderstorm hit.

At the first lightning Shira didn't got scared. I knew that Shira is scared of thunderstorm. I thought Shira already tamed that fear.

Then the second lighting hit which was loud. Shira yelped and went to sit on my lap.

I spoke, "Are you still scared?"

Shira responded, "No it was unexpected."

Then another lightning hit then Shira yelped again and she got close to my chest.

Shira spoke, "Okay I'm still scared Diego."

I can't help but to smile. I began to pat her head and Shira began to purr on my chest.

Flashback

3rd P.O.V

Shira was having a another sleep over at her house. Diego's parents encouraged him to go even Diego didn't want to.

Diego didn't want to be a bad friend do he decided to go. Diego didn't took a shower yet so he had to bring clothes at Shira house.

Diego went Shira's house. As Justin and Soto was there already. They were playing chess. Shira was was pretty good with chess.

Seeing Justin and Soto lose makes her laugh. Diego was watching in the distance looking at Shira how she was having fun.

Then Shira noticed that Diego was already there. Shira quickly got up and ran to him.

Shira spoke, "You here Diego."

Diego responded, "Yeah seems like it."

Shira grabbed Diego's hands which made Justin and Soto jealous.

Shira spoke, "How about we play chess together?"

Diego responded, "I guess."

Then Shira pulled Diego's hand to the board.

Then Shira and Diego were playing chess. Turns out Diego was better at chess than Shira. He could finish in few minutes.

Shira spoke, "Aww man. I lost."

Diego spoke, "Don't worry you'll get better."

They began to play together like freeze tag around the house or hide and seek.

As they were playing hide and seek. Diego went to the laundry room which was dark. He found a space where he can sit and hide.

As he was hiding waiting for the seeker to count down. He heard someone also got in the laundry room.

Shira spoke, "Diego are you here?"

Diego responded, "Yeah just hide."

Shira followed Diego's voice. Until she stumbles into Diego.

Diego spoke, "Ow. Watch it."

"Sorry Diego."

Shira was sticking out her hands because she couldn't see. Until she something flat and hard.

Diego spoke, "Hey that my chest."

"Sorry I can't see. I want to sit with with you."

"There aren't any space left. Go hide somewhere else before I get caught."

Then Shira moves her hands down and felt like Diego's lap. Then Shira turns around and sat on Diego's lap.

Diego spoke bit panic, "What are you doing Shira? You are sitting on me."

"I want to hide with you."

"Fine. Do not make any movements."

As the seeker was looking for them. Minutes passed by. Diego could smell Shira's scent.

Shira began to feel uncomfy. Shira decided to move up to Diego's chest.

Diego was freaking out of the movement. Thinking what Shira is up to in the dark.

Shira laid her head on Diego's neck. Shira began to purr. Diego found it adorable.

Then Shira grabbed Diego's hands and wrapped around her waist. Diego was shocked of the movement. Shira began to feel more comfortable with Diego.

Shira spoke, "There."

Shira began to purr more loudly. Diego can't do anything but sit there holding her.

After an half hour Shira began to rub on Diego's body. Like she was going kiss him.

Diego spoke, "Please stop Shira. Your making me to move."

Shira didn't listen and continued to rub. Diego felt uncomfortable he had get up. Diego got up and his head on the wall which made a loud thud.

Diego knew he was going to be caught. He quickly grabbed Shira and put her in the hiding spot and left.

Soto opened the laundry room and turned on the lights and saw Diego sitting in front of him.

Soto spoke, "Your hard to find Diego. Let find Shira."

"Right."

Shira was blushing beet red.

After playing hide and seek and other games. The night came Soto and Justin went to sleep.

Diego had to take a shower. There was basket outside of the bathroom to put clothes.

As Diego was taking a shower Shira was still awake. Shira saw Diego's clothes. Shira picked Diego's shirt and began to smell it.

Shira like Diego's scent because he smelled nice. As Diego taking a shower put his clothes on but forgot to put on his shirt.

Diego walked out and Shira was in front of the bathroom. When Diego opened the door Diego saw Shira holding his shirt. Shira saw Diego chest. Shira began to drool by looking at him.

Diego asked, "Why are you holding my shirt?"

Shira spoke while drooling, "Why are you shirtless in front of a girl?"

Diego realized the situation. Diego quickly went back and put his shirt. Diego came back and Shira was back to normal.

Diego went to living room and sat down the couch. Shira followed him and sat next to him.

Shira began chatting with Diego until a thunderstorm hits. Shira yelped and sat on Diego's lap. Diego was bit surprised to see Shira scared of thunderstorm.

Then a thunder hit Shira hugged Diego tightly.

Diego spoke, "Hey don't be scared. It just a storm.

Shira spoke, "No I'm been scared of the storm."

Then power goes out which everything goes dark. Shira's body was on Diego making him lie down.

Shira spoke, "Diego hold me I'm scared."

Diego decided to hug her for comfort. Shira began to purr on his chest. Slowly Shira began to fall asleep.

Diego thought how Shira's parents deal with it. Not long Diego noticed that Shira was already asleep.

To not feel cold. Diego grabbed a blanket near by and  cover them. Diego couldn't get up plus the storm kept going.

Diego slowly closed his eyes falling asleep with Shira sleeping on him.

Diego P.O.V

I notice Shira has fallen asleep. I carried Shira to our bedroom. I lied down next to her. I knew Shira would want me to be with her during her fears.

I'm glad that my wife is scared of the storm so I can hold in my arms.
