Jade woke up to the feel of plush bedsheets surrounding her. She stretched her arms and legs and felt an unfamiliar ache between her legs. She turned on her side trying to ease her discomfort when her hand brushed against something, making her aware of the presence beside her.

All the events from the night before came rushing back. Feeling very much sober now she couldn't believe what she had done. She had given her virginity to a random stranger.

She eased out of the bed slowly not wanting to wake him up and made her way to the adjoining bathroom, grabbing her clothes from off the floor along the way. As quickly as she could she washed herself up and got dressed. She found a spare toothbrush in one of the sink cabinets and hurriedly applied toothpaste and began to brush her teeth. She didn't want to be around when Mr. Sexy on the bed decided to wake up.

Jade peeked around the bathroom door only to find the bed empty.

Sh¡t.

She made her way out of the room and down the stairs. Her legs shook with every step she took, there was no doubt that this man had a package that left every girl crippled after only spending one night with him in bed, her included.

She found him in the kitchen, his back was turned to her so she had ample time to admire the tattoos that lined his shirtless body, she was too busy last night to have noticed them. He was only wearing some tight fitting boxers, she could get used to waking up with a sight like this every morning.

It seemed he was cooking breakfast. She waited until he turned away from the stove before she cleared her throat, grabbing his attention. He looked up at her just as he was placing his eggs on a plate.

"You're still here." He stated.

"I was just leaving." She didn't even bother saying anything else she just turned making her way to the front door.

"Hey, wait a lil bit shorty." She heard him walking up behind her. "I didn't catch yo name."

Jade's face turned all kinds of red. She was so embarrassed. Here she was giving her virginity to a guy and didn't even know his name.

"It's J-Jade." She stuttered.

"Jade, I like that." He brought his hand up and tugged at his chin hairs. "I'm August by the way."

"Yea, I gotta go." Things were getting really awkward and she hated awkward situations. She opened the front door and stepped outside just as Ebony pulled up in the driveway. Jade had called her earlier while she was in the bathroom.

She quickly hopped inside the car. Ebony was about to ask a lot of questions but she couldn't handle her friend's inquisitiveness at the moment.

"Not now Ebby, I'll explain everything later. Right now I just want you to take me home."

Ebony seeing that her friend wasn't in the talking mood just nodded her head and pulled out of the driveway heading towards Jade's home.

When Jade got home she took a nice relaxing bath. She was still sore so the hot bath did a good job in soothing her aching muscles. Only God knows the amount of positions August put her in last night, there were too many to count.

She climbed out of the tub, wrapped a towel around her body and one in her hair.

She changed into some comfortable clothing and was about to lay down for a nap when her phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hey its Jake."

"Hey baby bro what's up." She settled back on the headboard and folded her legs beneath her.

"The sky, what else."

"Hahaha, so not funny."

Jake was her twin brother and he was the only real family she had, well except for Ebony. They had lived in their own ever since their parents died in a shoot out when they were only ten. They were inseparable and the love they shared was like none other. No one thought they were gonna turn out to be anything because after their parents died they went on a rebellious streak, but twelve years later Jade owned her own law firm and Jake was a basketball star.

"I miss you JJ." She pouted over the phone.

"Hey, tuck in your lip. You know I miss you too."

"How you know I was pouting?" She asked curiously.

"I know you Jade, plus I could hear it in your voice. I miss you JJ." He mocked her.

"I don't sound anything like that." She heard the doorbell ring and got up to answer it. "But foreal though, when you coming home, New York's not going anywhere."

Jade didn't bother looking through the peephole she just opened.

"You need to-" She stopped mid sentence and screamed in happiness.

"Oh my God! I thought you were still in New York." She jumped in the awaiting arms of her brother who caught her and spun her around grinning from ear to ear.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked smiling.

"I wanted to surprise you."

"Well consider me surprised."

He placed back on her feet and wrapped his arm around her shoulders, he was carrying his travel bag in his other hand. They walked inside the house shutting the door behind them, they sat down in the sofa and snuggled together.

"So, what are you doing here? I thought you said you had one more game before the season ended."

"I did but it got cancelled. So now I'm gonna be with you for the next eight months." He said getting up.

"Really!?" Jade squealed. She got up and hugged him. "I'm so glad I've finally got time to spend with my baby bro."

"Hey it's only by two minutes." She let go of him and stuck her tongue out at him.

"You hungry?" She asked walking towards the kitchen.

"I'm starving."

"Good, go ahead and get settled in while I whip up something for us to eat."

"Okay, love you sis." Said Jake as he made his way up the stairs towards his bedroom.

"Love you too."

Three weeks had passed since that eventful night with Jade's stranger and Jake's arrival. Jake had never been happier to see his sister and he hoped that his trip wouldn't be cut short, God knows they didn't spend enough time together like they used to. He hadn't seen her in two years and now he was gonna make up for lost time, he was going to take her out to dinner tonight and catch up on everything.

He made his way to her room and was about to knock when he heard somebody throwing up. He didn't bother knocking he just barged in only to find his sister in the bathroom, head down the toilet puking her guts out.

He ran over to her and began to rub circles on her back to soothe her.

"You okay Jade?"

"Yea, I think I got the stomach flu or maybe it was something I ate."

She got up from off the floor and went over to the sink to wash away the remnants of vomit.

"Maybe you should go see a doctor."

"No, I'm fine. It'll pass, plus you know how I feel about hospitals."

"Okay, I hear you. But if it gets any worse I'm gonna drag you there myself."

"Yea yea, whatever." She fanned him off. He left the room and she took her hair out of a ponytail deciding she was going to take a short nap. She had called in sick for work and asked her assistant to take care of everything until she got better so she didn't have to worry about that.

Just about ten minutes through her nap she heard her phone ring.

"Uh. Can't a girl get some sleep around here?" She picked up the phone and saw that it was Ebony.

"Hey Ebby."

"Hey shnukums. Jake told me you weren't feeling too hot, you okay?"

"I'm fine, just a little stomach flu."

"Really?" She asked not believing.

"Yes. It seems like I can't keep anything down, I wake up and eat breakfast then I right after I'm rushing to bathroom to get rid of it all. I bought some Chinese food the other day on my way home from work and as soon as I opened the dish the smell had me rushing to the bathroom."

The other side of the phone was silent.

"Hello, Ebony you still there?"

"Yea...and how long has this been going on?" There was a hint of skepticism in her voice that had Jade getting a little worried.

"About a week or so."

"And how long was it that you and that August nigga had sex?"

"Three weeks ago, why?"

The other side of the phone continued to be silent.

"Ebony what is it? You're scaring me."

"Jade baby girl... I think you might be pregnant."
