"Hmm... Coffee at Charlie's, good idea." I thought looking at the text in my mobile, "I didn't got time to enjoy my weekend, at least I can shoo away my Monday blues by having a hot coffee and some bagels at my favourite Cafe."

I will be getting off the work by 5 pm, I will meet you at Charlie's at 5:30.

'Okay, I will be there at 5:30, don't make me wait coz I can't handle all those hot girls swarming around me like am a piece of cake!

The reply came instantly.

I smiled looking at the text shaking my head, Rudra's such a drama queen.

"Ms.Sharma get me the Hamilton's file and black coffee." My boss ordered through the Intercom.

"Hmm, back to Nandi bail mode." I sighed getting up from my comfy chair to fulfill my boss's orders.

"Ms.Sharma, be quick,I don't tolerate Tardiness." My boss ordered again.

Last night, he was all funny and carefree running all around the beach  laughing like a kid and now he was acting like a arrogant Douche bag.

"Your coffee and Hamilton's file, Sir." I said placing the coffee and file on my boss's desk as he was typing in his laptop seriously without even lifting his head.

"Do you need anything else, sir?" I asked after waiting for a few minutes and not getting any response from my boss.

"Nothing, you can leave." My boss said  with a flick of his hand.

"This arrogant akdu, Nandi bail can't he say it at first!" I cursed internally but gave a polite smile outwards and walked out of his cabin.

The rest of the day went with my boss passing orders to get files and coffee and me running from one department to other for errands.

By the evening I was exhausted and fully drained, I slumped in the chair of my cabin giving rest to my aching legs as I have been running around all the day. I closed my eyes for a minute and my phone rang.

"Hello." I said in a exhausted tone.

"Hello, Doll." Vikram's soothing voice came from the other end making me smile instantly.

"Vikram, I missed you." I said sitting straight in my chair.

"I missed you too, Doll." Vikram said, "Why are you sounding so dull, are you feeling sick or something?" Vikram asked in a concerned tone.

"Not sick, don't worry." I said smiling at his concern, "It's just I had a hectic day at work."

"Don't over stress yourself, Doll." Vikram said softly, "It's okay, to take a break from the work sometimes, you don't have to work all the day."

"I am not working all the day, Vikram. It's today, I had a lot of work, it's not like this on other days." I said trying to cheer him up.

"Even then take a break and go out, you are spending all your time in that boring office and home." Vikram said.

"No, I am not, today Rudra asked me to join him for a coffee at Charlie's after work." I said.

"That's great! " Vikram said happily, "Go and enjoy your day and along with coffee try to eat some snacks, I am sure you must be feeling hungry with all the work you have been doing since morning." Vikram chuckled.

"You know me very well." I smiled.

"I know very well about my doll, I also know that you have skipped your lunch." Vikram said shocking me.

"How do you know?" I asked surprised.

"I know very well about you, now pack up your things and hurry up, go and enjoy your coffee and don't forget to eat something healthy." Vikram said hurrying me up.

"Okay, I will eat." I smiled.

"Bye, Doll." Vikram said.

"Bye Vikram." I said disconnecting the call.

I packed my things and looked at my watch, It's quarter past Five and I have only 15 minutes to reach Charlie's cafe. I took my handbag and hurriedly walked out of my cabin only to bump into my boss.

"This is Office, Ms. Sharma not some Olympic running marathon that you are sprinting like an athlete." My boss said smoothening up his suit.

"Sorry, sir, I was in a hurry." I apologized.

"What came down that you are hurrying up like that?" My boss questioned and before I could answer my mobile rang again.

"Excuse me, sir." I said taking out my mobile that was flashing with Rudra's name.

"You can take calls in my presence, Ms. Sharma. It's not like you are working for FBI or something." My boss said standing tall in front of me.

"Hello." I said softly receiving the call.

"Ri, I reached Charlie's, where are you?" Rudra asked from the other side.

"I am on my way, will be there in a few minutes." I said looking at my boss from the corner of  my eye.

"Okay, I will place the orders for us, what do you want me to order for you?" Rudra asked.

I looked up at my boss and he was looking at me with a straight face.

"One Latte and Chocolate filled Doughnuts." I said softly.

"Okay, Come soon." Rudra said cutting the call off.

I slipped the mobile in my handbag and tried to get out the office.

"So, you are going out for a coffee?" My boss asked in a calm voice making me stop in my steps.

"Yes, sir."

"May I know with whom?" My boss questioned.

Why does it concerns to him? It's my life I can go out with anyone. Akdu.

"Rudra." I said hesitantly and he frowned. "I should go, sir, Am getting late."

"You are not going anywhere." My boss said stopping me holding by my arm.

This arrogant man.

"Why wouldn't I ?" I asked in a challenging tone.

"Because, I don't want you to go, especially with Rudra." My boss said stubbornly.

"As If I would follow your orders, let me reminder you, it's past 5 means I am no longer your employee till tomorrow." I said coming out of his hold.

"No, you are not going anywhere, employee or not that's my order and you're gonna follow it." My boss said strictly making me narrow my eyes at him.

"Well, I don't take orders." I said trying to walk away.

"Is that the value I have in our friendship?" My boss said using his weapon.

"Don't go there." I said annoyed.

"You are not going anywhere, then." My boss said.

"I have to go, Rudra's waiting for me and it would be rude, if I cancel my plans now." I said trying to make him understand.

He stood silently for a minute looking like he was  thinking.

"Okay then, you don't have to cancel your plans with Rudra." My boss said making me sigh in relief, "But I am coming with you, no arguments." He smirked and walked past me smugly.
