I stood in front of the Airport after getting down from the car that my boss sent to pick me up. At least my arrogant boss was kind enough to send a car for me to reach the airport.
The car driver, whose name I got to know as Khanna, helped me with my luggage.

"Here's your luggage, Mam." Khannaji said handing me my luggage.

"Khannaji, Please call me Gauri." I said, "And thank you for the ride."

"No need to thank me, Mam. I was just following Mr. Oberoi's orders." Khannaji said.

"Even then, thank you for driving me to the airport, Thank you, Khannaji." I said taking luggage from him.

"Anytime, Mam. Happy Journey." He said in a professional manner.

I walked towards the departure area waiting Hall struggling with me luggage trying to spot the Nandi bail.
After looking around for my boss and failing to spot him. I stood in the middle of the waiting area exhausted.

"Ms.Sharma." My boss's voice came from behind making my jump and turn around.

"I was searching for you, Sir." I said hurriedly before he can taunt me for making him wait.

"Oh! I am sorry, I got struck in the traffic and arrived late. Let's go and check in." My boss said walked towards the entrance while I stood there shocked.

Did my boss just said sorry to me for being late! Wow__ what happened to him, the Akdu boss of mine said Sorry for me that to for the second time. I must really be dreaming.

"Ms.Sharma, are you going to stand there for the whole day? " My boss asked looking back at me.

I shook my head in No and began to follow him.

Soon we got checked in and the air hostess guided us to out seats in business class. My boss wwas working in his laptop while I sat looking out from the window, Thank God at least I got a window seat.

"Hello Passengers, I am Sam, your pilot today, we will be taking off in a few minutes, please tighten your seat belts." The announcement was heard and we buckled up.

I was looking out of the window as the flight began to take off when I felt a warm hand on my hand, I turned around to look at the source and found my boss sitting in his seat eyes tightly shut and his hand holding my hand in a tight grip.

My arrogant, scary looking boss's scared of flights! I smiled looking at my boss's scared face, I wish I could take a picture but that would be rude. I kept my free hand on his hand and began to rub soothing circles on the back of his palm with my thumb, he looked visibly relaxed and opened his eyes slowly.

His Chocolate brown enticing orbs were focused in my direction and he gave a light thankful smile. We were looking at each other not knowing what to say and the pilot's voice saying that we were safely in air broke our awkward silence.

I slowly took off my hand and he took his hand from the top of mine, he went back to work in his laptop and I continued to stare at the sceneries out of the window.

Turbulence was something that I was scared of ever since I was a kid and I closed my eyes tight when the Pilot announced that the flight was about to take off and for my surprise my petite assistant helped me calm down by drawing soothing circles on the back of my palm, which helped me relax and when I opened my eyes, I was mesmerized looking into a set of doe eyes with hazel green orbs. It was the pilots voice that stopped me from drowning in those captivating eyes.

At present I was working on my laptop to keep me distracted from my beautiful assistant, who was currently sitting beside me. What's happening to me one month back I was the man, who was cold and ruthless with zero feelings towards any female species and now here I am trying hard not to get distracted because of my assistant. Something's seriously wrong with me. Mental note to self: I have to consult a doctor ASAP.

I was deep in thoughts when I felt something heavy on my shoulder and I turned my head towards my left only to be make my heart flutter as I saw my beautiful assistant sleeping cutely, while resting her head on my shoulder and her lips slightly pouting.
God! How can a sane person can control himself if a woman looks like a goddess even when she was sleeping like a log!!

Great! Now she also wrapped her hand around my arm. I am going to die for sure with all that somersaults my heart's making. I thought of waking her up but again stopped myself since I have no heart to wake up the sleeping beauty. Sighing I just closed my laptop, since I was not on a correct mind to think about business and rested my head on the headrest looking down at the woman beside me.

I was busy staring at Gauri, when I noticed the stewardess walking towards our seats. And even before she can speak I signed her not to make noise pointing towards the sleeping Gauri and she nodded in understanding way.

"Do you like to have anything, sir? " The stewardess whisper asked.

"A glass of water, please." I whispered back seriously in need of water after spending all the time drooling over my sleeping assistant.

"And for your wife, Sir? " The stewardess whispered again.

Wife! Is that what people were thinking seeing me and my assistant together. Well, it doesn't sound that bad and in fact it was sounding great. My heart fluttered. Wait. What? Okay Omkara, you are officially gone mad now. Where did that Cold OSO, who has sworn not to get married and allow any woman into his life has gone? My subconscious mind mocked.

"Sir? " The Stewardess called poking lightly on my arm bringing me out of my reverie.

"She's fine for now." I said smiling not feeling like I want to correct her.

"Okay Sir, I will be back soon." The stewardess said and walked away.

I sighed looking down at my assistant, don't know how I am going to control myself alone with my assistant. I hope everything goes well.
