Lord Madison's
POV

Another day, more work. I thought as I woke up and got dressed. Just as I was walking to the kitchen I hear a knock on the door. I awnser it to see Una and some girl.
"DID SOMEONE FINNALLY BEAT UP THOOSE MAGES, UNA?" I ask hopefully.
"N-n-no... Not that we know of." Una replies.
"What type?" Askes the girl.
"Water." Una replies.
"I ran into a couple on the outskirts and beat one up while the other ran...." She says. I study the girl, surprised, and see that she is a kit'li with teal ears and tail, pink on the end of the tail, red,orange,and yellow hair. She is wearing a light blue dress, and has pale skin.
"You did? Was one tall wearing a light blue robe with turquoise stitching?"

Infern's POV

  "Yes." I reply to this woman who I guessed to be the lord. She looks as if she was about to scream out of joy. "Like I said they attacked and out of self defence I tore the guy to shreds... Well I shred his robe and may have used magic to finish him but that doesn't matter..."
"Your a mage?" She askes, surprised.
"No, I am no mage, I have been able to do magic since... I don't remember a time without it."
"Sounds like a mage to me..." Mutters the guard who's name I found out was Una.
"Mages go to special schools. I lived in the woods with my parents and followed the rules of the woods." I snap.
"Oh..." Una seems unsure, odd she was so confident earlier.
"You need no test if you truly defeated that thug, but what is your magic?"
"It's better I show you." I laugh and motion for them to step back. "But first I'll show my forms!" I laugh and transform. A ball of white fire surrounds me as I change from human to pheniox I get lifted into the air as wings of fire form.
"A phoenix!" The lord gasps.
I nod and transform to a teal cat and then into a human.
"But that's not possible!" The lord exclames.
"It's clearly possible, so... May I stay?"
"Of course! Una take her to the house on the right back lane that is open."
"When is my job choosen?"
"Tomorrow, get some rest."
"I will, thank you."
Una takes me to the house and hands me a map and the keys to my new house. "Enjoy. I hope you become a guard so I am not the only girl!" Una smiles then walks off.
I unlock the door and head inside. It has a living room, dining room, kitchen, 1 bedroom, and 1 bathroom. The living room already has a couch and a TV as well as 2 recliners. The dining room is set up with a table and 4 chairs. The bedroom however, has a bed with an orange blanket and yellow pillow. It also has a desk, desk chair, teal lamp, red walls, and an aqua bookshelf.
"Wow!" I fangirl over my new house before calming down and going to bed.

???'s POV

Well, my daughter got a new home and still hang figured out her other side.
"Sir!" One of the guards interrupt my thoughts.
"Yes? What is it this time?"
"The new recruit, Caki, has returned."
"Send her in! I have another mission for her."
"Yessir!"

Caki's POV

"Astalex! What do you want now?" I spat at him. After he captured me he sent me on missions. He wants to kill all of us magic spawn even when he is 1/2 pheniox, 1/2 divine, he makes us slaves or kills us.
"Well, I want you to spy on my daughter."
"Hah! The king of evil magic has a daughter!"
"It's true, and she's like you. Now go!" He teleports me away to outside her house. I sigh. Another day, another dumb assignment. I knock on the door and transform into a light gray cat.
"Are you a cat or a Kit'li?" She askes.

Infern's POV

The cat stays silent. "Come in and I will get it out of you..." The cat comes in and I motion for her to sit on the table. "Name."
"Caki... Wow you are less bossy than your dad so far..." She mumbles sarcasticly.
"My dad?" I look at her closely. "My dad isn't bossy!"
"Your adapotive dad might not be,but your real dad is. I should know, he turned me into a slave against my will."
  "I'm sorry to hear that. So your Caki...how did my dad..."
"The War of Crystalias. Your dad and the humans... VS the magic spawn like us..."
"But isn't he magic spawn?"
"Yes, he's just weird like that." We laugh and then she continues, "We need rest. Otherwise a certain princess of a certain thing won't be able to make a certain trip."
"Princess?"

This posted before I wanted to but now it's done.Where is Caki taking Infern? What is up with Infern's weirdo dad? What other magic does Infern have? Who is Infern's mom? You'll find out soon! Hope you enjoyed, Cakes.
