Inuyasha grimaced as a ray of sunlight hit his eyelids making her groan and burry her face into the warmth of Sesshomaru's tail.

Her body felt heavy and lazy from the night before.

The medicine that Kagome had given  knocked her out so heavily that she distinctly recalled Sesshomaru trying to wake her up to eat but she was so tired that she merely swatted him away before turning over and fell  deeply asleep

Inuyasha heard her stomach growl loudly, then an amused male chuckle right behind her.

She was about to tell him to shut up when his scent hit her like a battering ram.

The woman froze, then shuddered as heat poured thought her veins igniting a very different kind of hunger now.

She heard him hiss

Then felt his teeth right at the base of her delicate neck scraping at skin gently making her whimper and lean into him.

His strong arms snaked around her waist, puling her closer so that she could feel every inch of his body against hers.

She looked behind her to look into his eyes, what she saw there was pure desire in their light golden depths.

He leaned down and captured her mouth making her moan

Inuyasha kissed him back with just as much passion. Her hand went in his hair then his neck as she pulled him closer needing to feel every inch of him. Their tongues tasted and explored every crevasse of each other's mouth

His taste was making her dizzy and lightheaded. The heat was everywhere, licking at her skin like fire.

"Mate"

She froze when she heard her demon. "Oh shit, it's my heat cycle talking" she realized. And he must have realized it too because he cursed softy.

"We need to get to the castle soon, it's getting worse" he said trying to compose himself, but even she saw just how much pain it was causing him to move away from her.

His movements were jerky and stiff instead of his usually graceful ones, it made her feel horrible.

She felt like it was her fault,

If it wasn't for this cursed body, Sesshomaru wouldn't have to go through this, fight his inner demon for control while she was in heat.

"I'm sorry Sessh" Inuyasha said softy as she looked down at her dainty little hands wishing that she was back in her old body. It was so unreasonable for her to feel this way, she hadn't missed her old body in a long time.

Before she knew it she was surrounded by his strong body.

He held her in his muscular arms as he growled

"Don't ever apologize for something that is not your fault, I don't ever want you to feel like my discomfort is your fault Inuyasha"

She didn't know what to feel since it seemed like she was going from one extreme to another(" stupid female hormones!" )What she did next managed to both scare and baffle him even worse, when she started to cry like a twit.

"Inuyasha!  Why are you crying? I just said it wasn't your fault, stop this foolish crying at once" he ordered, but hearing him say that only made her cry even harder.

By this point Kagome and Sango had woken up ,and went over to comfort her, they shot Sesshomaru dirty looks.

"Don't yell at her you!" Yelled Kagome as she put her arms around Inuyasha

"Yes! It's not her fault she can't control her emotions right now! You brute!" spat out Sango as she too wrapped her arms around the emotional hanyo

"What is wrong with you anyway?!Maybe all she wanted was to be held but oh no you just have to start commanding her to stop crying like there was an on and off switch! Really of all the arrogant---There there Inuyasha, we're here" Kagome broke off as she shook her head at the demon lord who looked a bit miffed at being told off.

If she wasn't on the verge of an emotional breakdown, she would have been laughing at his expression. He was startled, shocked, angry and confused

Inuyasha sniffed as Kagome told her not to worry and if she wanted to cry that it was okay.

And so.. she did

She felt so frustrated that she had to hold back from being with him. She wanted for him to just hold her and let her cry instead of telling her that crying was foolish!

Inuyasha knew it wasn't very reasonable but she couldn't help it. It was the most bizarre mix of emotions she had ever experienced.

"Why she is crying so much?" Sesshomaru asked, frowning at her as if wondering if Inuyasha was perhaps broken or something "Are you telling me that this is normal?"

"OF COURSE IT'S NORMAL!" Kagome and Sango screamed.

Miroku sighed and patted Sesshomaru's back. "When it comes to female emotions all we have to do is nod our heads, agree with them, and hope for the best" he said with a sigh.

When Sesshomaru groaned in exasperation and stood up as if to walk away, but that only made it worse!

Inuyasha's bottom lip started to quiver as fresh tears started to fall down her eyes

She probably looked like a lunatic to him.

"Sesshomaru!" Kagome snapped as she pinned him with a glare "How can you think to walk away now!"

Sighing he pinched the bridge of his nose "I am clearly the main cause for he emotional.... imbalance, she might calm down if I'm not in her sights"

Inuyasha got up and kicked him in the shins.

"Jerk! This is all your fault!" She said, crying even harder "maybe all I fucking wanted was to be hell! but oh no! You just had to go all demon lord and command me to stop crying!"

She stomped on one foot not caring that she looked like a two year old having a tantrum "I will cry all I fucking want!"

She turned around and stomped away from everyone
