He saw her eyes go wide, then she shook her head.

"Oh no! You are not locking me into a room again!" she said standing up to place her hands on her hips.

He sighed, knowing full well that she was going to be against the idea, so he did the only thing to make her understand just how unsafe it would be to be around each other. He growled low in his chest as he stood up slowly and lowered his head to scrap his fangs on her neck.

Her response was immediate and primitive, her heat over-ruling her rational thinking. She plastered her body against his as she growled and reached up to pull his lips down to hers.

Her kiss was hungry and passionate, igniting a dangerous part in Sesshomaru.

She moaned deeply as she took control of the kiss and whimpered as their tongues played together. Her hands went to his haori top as if trying to rip it off of him

That was when he pulled away and pushed her towards Kagome, he human girl was still in shock from their little display but held on to Inuyasha.

He darling mate's eyes were still glazed over with need as she tried to pry herself away from her friend to get to him

"Do you see now?" He drmanded, seeing her almost bite Kagome's hand off trying to reach him

"If this is your reaction now, can you imagine what it will be in five days when it's at its peak? We need to get you to stay in a room where you can't smell me near" he reasoned

Inuyasha shook her head as if clearing it then looked up at Sesshomaru and blushed bright red.

"T-tell me that I didn't just attack you right now!"

Sango and Miroku who had woken up to witness their little display giggled

"I say we get moving Inuyasha" said Miroku the looked over to the older silver-inu "Lord Sesshomaru, will her scent attract other demons?"

Sesshomaru nodded grimly "It will, but unfortunately to them, she will only respond to me" he wanted to smirk at that knowledge

"If another tries to come near her while she is in heat she will more than likely rip out their hearts than let them touch her" and he will cheer for her if she does so

"Still other demons will try to mount her in hopes that they will be able to overpower her"

"Eww" said Inuyasha and Kagome "There is no way in hell I'm letting another male near me" she growled then looked back at him "That includes you Sesshomaru, I don't wanna get pregnant, so you keep it in your pants and away from me"

"Koneko, the reason why you need to be locked into a room is because you will be the one seeking me out" He clarified for her.

She sputtered then looked over to Kagome who coughed delicately "Um you did just kiss him rather passionately….out of your own free will mind you"

"Aww crap" she whimpered "this is just great! why me?! I was just starting to get used to my female emotions and hormones, now this?!" She would bet that their father was rolling in his grave right now

"It's not all bad" said Sango who went to place an arm around Inuyasha

"there are lots of benefits to being a woman, for example, everything that a man does is for us..think about it!They hunt, work, and fight for us, they may seem like they are the stronger one in the relationship but in the end, behind every strong man is a stronger woman"

"That's right" said Kagome "Its fun being a girl! Inuyasha, tell me you don't enjoy the feeling of having such a strong demon like Sesshomaru at your beck and call?" She nudged the shorter female, who started to think over what they had told her

Sesshomaru rose an eyebrow at them "I beg your pardon?" He began to chant to himself " I must not kill mate's friends, I must not kill mate's friends"

Inuyasha tilted her head "I guess you have a point"

"Well isn't this just lovely?" He thought, irritated. Those two obviously were going to be a bad influence on his mate.

And soon, they resumed travelling, heading towards Sesshomaru's castle after Kagome took his mate for some privacy. When they returned his mate's face was bright red.

"What happened?" He asked with his arms folded across his chest.

"Nothing" muttered Inuyasha as she started to walk ahead with the two women "Inuyasha" he said in a stern voice that told her he wanted answers.

"Kagome just showed me how to help with my little problem okay?" She revealed reluctantly

"Explain" Sesshomaru said, not understanding why this would cause her so much mortification.

"Oh for goodness sake! This is disturbing enough for me as it is! I really don't want to have to explain this to my mate as well!" she groaned.

My mate

"She said my mate, she has never said or acknowledged me as her mate until now" he mirked at her as he pulled her so that he could kiss her fully on the lips.

"What was that for?" she asked, blinking up at him with frown.

"That was the first time you referred to me as 'mate' Inuyasha" he said then leaned down to kiss her nose "You're warming up to me"
