The Dingo was pretty packed, but we managed to get decent seats. I sat down and he plopped down across from me. I couldn't help but smile when I looked at him. He was just so hot! He must have thought the same about me because he said, "You sure are a doll. You gotta a boyfriend where you're from?"

I grinned. "You think I'd be here if I did?"

He smiled. "So how'd that brother of yours feel about you comin' on a date with me?"

I shrugged. "He said you'll never be able to get serious and that you don't know what love is."

He nodded his head. "He's right. I've yet to love someone."

"We'll see about that," I smirked.

"Huh?" He asked, amused.

"Nothin'."

Soon the waitress came by to take our order and to give us our drinks. She gave me my Coke and Dally his Pepsi. As soon as she left, we started blowing our paper from the straws at the people around us. She came back around with our desert, finally. (We skipped dinner and went straight to desert.) He were eating our cake when Dally randomly says, "Ya know, this cake smells funny."
"Huh?" I put some cake on my fork and put it up to my nose. He pushed the fork to my face, getting it all over my lips. My mouth fell open, but I couldn't help but smile.

He grinned. "You look cute with chocolate on your face."

I smiled. "I bet you would, too."

I leaned over and pressed his lips against mine.

It was about 9:30 when we left the restaurant. He led me to the car he had "borrowed" from Buck. We hopped in and he turned to me.

"So, hotshot, what's your curfew?"

I shrugged. "I'll find out when I get home."

He grinned. "Wanna go to the Nightly Double, then?"

"Yeah, sure."

We drove to the Nightly Double and he parked far away from the screen, even though there was many seats up front that he could have taken. The movie was a boring beach movie, with no plot, catchy songs, and lots of half naked girls. But I didn't mind. We weren't even watching the movie.
"Diane?" He asked.

I turned my head to him. "What's up?"

"Would Steve get mad if he knew we kissed?" He didn't seem scared. More amused.

I smiled mischievously. "What he doesn't know won't kill him."

He pushed his lips on mine and we kissed. Okay, we made out. Or we did, until someone came banging on the windows. Dally rolled down the window.

"What do you want? Can't you see I'm busy?"

Two-Bit bent down and smiled. "I can see that."

I turned red. Two-Bit and some blonde girl climbed in the back seat.

"Hey, Diane," he grinned. "You havin' fun?"

I blushed. "Shut up."

"Who's this?" Dally asked, pointing to the girl with him. She giggled.

"This is Kathy," Two-Bit told him, wrapping his arm around her waist.

"Different one than last week. And the week before," Dally teased. I laughed and Two-Bit punched his arm.

"Oh, I just remembered!" Cried Two-Bit cried.

"Remembered what?"

He pulled six pack of beer out of his pants and grinned proudly.

My mouth fell open. "How did you-"

"Good goin', man," Dally said, happily as he reached for a beer.

Kathy took one and so did Two-Bit. Dally looked at me.

"Oh, come on. Don't tell me you've never drinked before."

"I have. But one of us needs to say sober so we can actually get home," I told him.

Two-Bit grinned. "Damn, Dal. You got yourself a smart one."

Dally smiled. "A hot one, too."

"Damn right," I agreed.

After the movie, the boys were rip-roarin' drunk, and Kathy was a bit tipsy. Dally and I switched seats and I drove Kathy home. She had to give me directions because i just got here. After I dropped of Two-Bit, I checked the clock. 11:32. I asked Dally for directions to his house, and he got us lost. He just kept laughing about it. I eventually got tired of him not being himself so I drove us to the nearest DQ and made him get fries and water to sober up. Thank God, he did. But he was still super tired. So I stayed in the drivers seat. In drove him to his house. As I parked I asked him where his dad was.

He sort of chuckled. "Shoot, kid, I dunno. My dad don't give a damn about me."

Then I asked him how I was suppose to get home.

He scratched his head, and pushed his back, making his hair fall into perfect whisps over his forehead. "Stay the night, babe," he told me. "I'll drive you home in the morning."

"Geez, Dal, I don't know-"

"Come on, girl. I ain't gonna do nothing like that tonight. I'm just as tired as you are."

I sighed and nodded my head. "Let's go."

"Steve is gonna kill me," I muttered as we walked up to his porch.

He grinned weakly. "What he doesn't know won't kill 'em."

"Oh, he'll know when I don't show up in the morning."

We went inside and he went to the kitchen to get some water. I didn't know what to do so I sat on the couch and waited. He came out of the kitchen, his shirt unbuttoned and his eyes barely open.

"Scoot," he muttered. I scooted over as he sat down. Once he sat down, I curled up next to him and closed my eyes.
