"Ackerman. Go get him" he ordered. "Yes Sir" she replied before using her grappling hooks to hook herself to a nearby building.

Levi was on the run. Him, Farlan and Isabel have discussed or have planned in the past; if they ever get noticed by the Military Police or anything related to that.  The plan is to meet up by an abandoned factory. 

They'd be safe there for now.

That is, if they make it. Levi sprinted through the streets.  He heard ODM gear behind and above him. He didn't bother turning around for a split second, but instead he kept going.

Levi saw some stacked boxed ahead of him.  Luckily, he had no problem jumping over them and pushing people out of his way.

However, as he turned the corner, he came upon a dead end. "Shit" he cussed under his breath.  He had no other choice, but to climb it. 

Eventually he made it to the top, he scanned at his surroundings, keeping an eye out for any green hooded soldiers.

There was none. But that didn't stop him from continuing running.  He had the feeling they were close.

He ran and jumped from roof to roof. He finally landed on the ground, did a front roll, and got back on his feet.  Not a single drip of sweat appeared on his face.

When he finally believed that he lost them.  He turned around, no one was behind him, as always.  No one can catch up to him, so he didn't expect to see anybody.

He let out a small sigh and walked to a dark alley, where it led to the abandoned factory.  Which was only a few blocks away.  As he was half way in the dark alley.

He saw a figure at the end of the dark alley.  His vision was off but soon got clearer.  His eyes slowly widen.  It was the soldier.

A soldier with a green hoodie stood still at the end of the dark alley. Levi had his eyes locked on the soldier. If he has to get out of this situation with blood on his hands, he has no problem doing that.

He has slit many throats, he doesn't mind slicing more if he has to.  The soldier began walking towards Levi.

He saw the soldier's figure becoming more woman like.  But, he put that aside and aimed for the head, chest, throat, anything to kill the soldier.

The soldier stopped her tracks and pulled out her long, sharp, shining blades. Levi quickly took out his knife, he wasn't planning on losing to an unfair fight.

The soldier fixed her hoodie, making her face, covering her face even make.

Levi expected her to start swinging her blades at him, since he has encountered other soldiers who failed on capturing him.  He predicted this soldier will get the same faith as the other soldiers who got in his way.

However, what she did next surprised him.  She threw both her blades aside.

"Not yet" She mumbled, loud enough for Levi to hear.

Levi didn't want to wait any longer for one of them to swing.  He made the choice on swinging a punch at her.

She quickly moved out of the way. Tch!  He swung with his other fist. But, she dodged it as well.

"My turn" she side kicked his knee and later used her left fist to punch him in the stomach.

Tsk! That fuckin' hurt! He used his right elbow to hit on her face and used his knee to strike her on her chest. He heard a small sound of pain coming from her.

But he wasn't prepare as she kicked him in the ribs with full power and uppercut him, making him stumble backwards.

He got back his balance, and got out his knife again, "That's it" he swung his knife across her face.  He didn't want to kill just yet.  He wanted to kill her slowly, making her suffer a slow painful death. 

She saw the knife just in time and quickly moved her head out of the way, but the knife still cut her underneath her right eye.  The cut was deep, which may leave a scar.

"Argh!" She felt the pain kick in.  But it didn't stop her, even though it was a small cut, it hurted as hell.

Blood dripped down her cheek. Levi saw her distracted with her blood on her hands that was from her cheek, he then side kicked her. That's where Levi took the opportunity to run out of there.

She saw her target starting to get away.  She couldn't let him escape!  If she does, then she will in the Underground even more longer, trying to capture him again.

Erwin ordered her and the rest of the soldiers that came along; they're not leaving without him.  Right now, she had somewhere else to be.  She wasn't suppose to be the Underground, she refused to come, but she had no choice.

Right now, she's missing out on something important.  She glared at Levi, who was running away.  She won't let him waste her time.

She quickly got her blades and used her ODM gear to hook herself to the walls, using the gas for boost, to end up tackling him to the ground.

Levi lost his grip of his knife and was pinned down by her. She quickly put her blade to his throat.  So if he moved, she'll kill him.

Levi was surprisingly shocked for the first time.  He's actually found someone who is equally as skilled as him.  Since, no one has ever dodged his attacks, no one is fast as him, and no one has been able to put a blade on his throat.

What's up with his woman?!  He thought.  She had a strong and tight grip on him. But, Levi can manage to get out of her grip, but if he tries, he's dead.  She'll slit his throat in a second.

While he was pinned down, he got to notice her wearing a red scarf but couldn't clearly see her face.  He had a feeling that he wanted to know who was this person.

Before he could think more, he felt the blade coming closer to his neck, at the point if he moved his neck, even an inch, it will slice a tint of his neck.

"Tch!"

He felt the blade coming closer. He tried pushing it away.  Some blood from her cheek dripped down to his face.

She had one blade agaisnt his neck and was about to swing her other blade to his head.  Which can instantly kill him.

She raised her blade until, "Hold it, Ackerman!" Levi eyes widen, Eh?

They both turned their head to the voice.  It was the tall man who warned them earlier of what would happened if they ran away.

Turns out, Levi got the message loud and clear. "Don't move or she'll kill you" he warned.  Levi looked at the woman on top of him. Ackerman?

"Stand up" he ordered. The woman got off of him but still had her blade close to his throat.

Levi stood up and had his hands on the air. "Hands behind your back"

Levi obeyed. The man walked over to him and handcuffed him. "Now start walking" he ordered.

<<<<<<<<<<<Time Skip>>>>>>>>>>>>

"Get on your knees" the tall man ordered. Levi followed orders and got on his knees, looking at the ground. Then he heard, Isabel and Farlan.

He looked over. They were also handcuffed and pretty pissed off. Mostly Isabel, "Let me go you idiots!" Isabel shouted. "Isabel, just stop" Farlan said, "It's over" he added.

Isabel frowned. "Place them here" the man pointing next to Levi.

Soon the trio were on their knees, facing the tall man.  Levi stared at the ground and kept thinking, Ackerman?

He didn't want to believe it or couldn't believe it. His mother told him that they're clan were all massacre by the King.  Barely any survivors.

The Ackerman clan were powerful soldiers in the past, and feared by many.  Sword and Shield.  It's an awakening power that ran through Ackerman bloodline.

That's why all members are so powerful than other non members. They are mostly the strongest out of all soldiers that are not born into the Ackerman Clan. Levi is one of them, so that's why he's the most strongest and known in the Underground.

However, he thought he was the last one of his kind, because no one can survive that horrible event that sadly occurred when they least expected it. Now, there's another one. But, why and how?

They say if you reveal that your an Ackerman.  Then they will kill you because the King specifically ordered to wipe out the whole Ackerman Clan.

Why haven't these people killed her yet? Levi questioned. What is she involved with?

He eventually snapped out of it and glanced at her, she was wiping away the blood on her cheek.  Levi's eyes later looked at the man.

The tall man finally took off his hoodie, revealing his face. He had blonde hair and bushy eyebrows, "Now, your names" he started off.

None of them answered.  He slowly approached Levi and kneeled down, "Are you the leader?" He asked.

Levi didn't respond.  Erwin knew they weren't going to talk, he sighed and said, "Fine, to start off. My name is Erwin Smith....yours?" He asked again.

Levi looked up, "Levi" he simply answered. "Levi, what?" He asked. "Just Levi"

"Ah, just the name I wanted to hear" Erwin said, "I've heard that you are the most wanted. Doing things you aren't supposed to do" He explained.

"That's why the Military Police is searching for you" he stood up, "I see you put one hell of a fight with Ackerman" he said as he looked at her then back at Levi.

Levi looked at her, trying to see her face. "I'm impressed. You seem to match Ackerman" he pointed out, "We are looking for more soldiers. We need more soldiers to fight with us, against the titans.  I'm pretty sure you're aware of creatures living outside these walls" he said then chuckled.

Levi glared at him, not getting his idea, "What's your point?"

"Join the Scouting Legions"

Isabel and Farlan looked at him. Having their full attention towards him.  Levi glared at him, "And if I refuse?" Levi questioned.

"Then I will hand you over to the Military Police. Who knows what will they do to you, along with your friends.  I guarantee it won't fun" he explained.

"Punishing you for all the crimes you three have done, or if they go beyond that, then they will put you to death" he added, sounding very harsh.

Levi thought for a moment. He looked over to Isabel and Farlan, he knows whichever choice he makes, he won't go through it alone. He sighed, "Fine. I'll join" he said.

Erwin smirked, "Wise choice"

<<<<<<<<<Few Hours Later>>>>>>>>

The trio were handcuffed and were  placed in a cart, heading to the surface. 

Levi stared at the woman, who is supposedly an Ackerman.  She sat across from him.  Erwin caught him having his eyes on her the whole time, "It's rude to stare, Levi"

Levi rolled his eyes and looked away.

Since that day, Erwin has brought the trio up to Wall Rose, where the trio got to experience breathing fresh, clean air.  Having light and seeing the blue sky with white clouds for the first time.

Erwin showed the trio the training area, the forest, where they practice killing titans, cafeteria, dorms, office, etc.  He's also mentioned of the consequences if they ever decide to escape. 

Few weeks have passed and Erwin got curious on their ODM skills.  He later told them to put on the ODM gear and meet him by the giant trees. He wanted to see if they had ever had experience with ODM gear or were familiar with the gear.

"Now go and try to kill the cardboard titans" he told them.  In the end, Farlan ended taking out 8, Isabel took out 5 and Levi took out 19. Erwin was impressed.

In the hand-to-hand combat, Levi manages to take out 24 men. He tried not killing them, but he did manage to send some of them to the infirmary.

<<<<<<<<Few hours later>>>>>>>>

Erwin thought it was time for the trio to meet some of the veterans in the Scouting Legions. 

"I wonder if the people will be nice?" Isabel asked. "I think they will. It's not like they're gonna kill us or something" Farlan replied.

"But we've killed people before?  I know they won't be friendly with us"

"You're probably right, but let's see what happens"

Ackerman?  It can't be true, I'm not believing that bullshit. He thought as the last name 'Ackerman' kept running around his head. 

He wonders if he's ever going to meet this Ackerman.

Finally, they made it to Erwin's office.  Levi knocked on the door while Farlan and Isabel were still chatting.

The door soon later opened by Erwin, and entered.  There were people in the office too.  Wearing the Scouting Legions uniforms.

"Can I have your attention please" Erwin announced.

They all faced him, giving him all their attention. "I would like you all to meet our new Survey Corps members" he said as he pointed at them.

"Please say your names" Erwin said politely.  Farlan cleared his throat, "My name is Farlan" he said with confidence

"Isabel, nice to meet ya!" She said with so much energy.

Then the attention shifted to Levi, "Levi" he simply said.  Some women started drooling over him.

Erwin then turned to the others, "Now say your names as well"

A woman with glasses immediately stood up, "My name is Hanji. Welcome to the Survey Corps" she said and sat back down.

And it went on until everyone was done introducing themselves.

Levi scanned around the room. Searching for the scarf woman.

Until he overheard Erwin asked Hanji, "And where's Ackerman?" "Probably with Eren" she replied.

Who's Eren? He thought, until the door opened, getting Levi's attention. "Ah there you are" Erwin said as he walked over to door.  The woman still had her hoodie on.

"Take off you hoodie and introduce yourself" Erwin told her. She slowly removed her hoodie.

Levi looked closely.  When she fully took it off, he saw her features, she had short black hair, pale skin, pinkish lips, and stunning grey eyes.

"Wow" Levi's heart began to beat. "My names is Mikasa" she said. Mikasa? Levi thought.

"Mikasa, she's is the strongest soldier ever to step foot into this legion. Really skilled, strong, talented, a genius, she is truly gifted" Erwin explained.

"But, I think she has some competition" Erwin said as he walked over to Levi.

"You both seem to be skilled. I wonder who's stronger?" he questioned with a big grin on his face.

Mikasa looked at Levi and he looked at her. They both felt a connection that they couldn't explain. Until Mikasa looked away and sat down.

Everyone was chatting and laughing. Some were talking about going into titan territory and thinking of a plan. Isabel and Farlan were social and made some friends.

Levi sat on a chair, drinking his tea. Mikasa was also seated, she sat across from him, silent.

Who are you?  And why the hell you aren't dead yet, you revealed your name so you're suppose to be dead.  But...I thought I was the last one  He thought.

He looked at her when she didn't notice and looked away when she stood up and walked out the office.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<Night>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Soon everyone left Erwin's office and went to their dorms.  Levi decided to go to the cafeteria to make himself more tea since he hadn't had tea for a long time.

When Levi arrives to the cafeteria, he saw a lit candle and later saw her.

She was just sitting there. He ignored her and continue on making his tea, but he was no longer in the mood for tea.

Instead of his feet walking towards the kitchen, it walked towards her. When he got closer he said, "It's you"

She looked up, sniffed and wiped her tears away. Is she crying? He thought. "Mikasa, isn't it?" He asked as he sat across from her. She nodded.

"So, your humanity's strongest?" He asked. "I am" She replied.

(Note: Mikasa is humanity's strongest until Levi came)

Silence. Levi looked at the mark at the bottom of her right eye. A scar. The scar he did.

He leaned forward, placing both his elbows on the table, "My name is Levi" he said as he reached for a handshake.

She gave him a handshake. "So....why are you here....alone....at night?" He asked. She buried her face in her scarf.

She didn't say anything. Pain was the feeling inside of her that didn't let her speak. He saw more tears forming in her eyes. He looked around and found some napkins and gave it to her.

"I don't need it" she refused. "You do, soon your scarf will be wet" he said. She took the napkins and wiped away her tears.

After she was done, he got to the point, "So, you're an Ackerman huh?" Her eyes widen. He waited for her to answer, "I have to go.  Goodnight" she said as she got up and blew the candle from the table and headed to the exit.

"Goodnight....Mikasa" He told her. She stopped and turned to look at him. "Night...Levi" she said and left.

Leaving Levi alone in the cafeteria. "Interesting" he whispered.
