After hours of waiting; and having to feed hungry stomaches, they could finally visit Pat. 

"She's ready for you all." The Doctor announced as he let the small group quietly entered the small room Pat was in.

"Hey guys." Pat was the first one to speak as soon as they walked in. 

"How are you feeling?" Brooke asked calmly, smiling at her younger sister. 

"I'm better, thanks to you guys. Also to the Doctore and nurse." She smiled, she looked better for sure. At least in spirit. Her wounds still bled through, but a bandage was wrapped around her waist from blocking blood to escape.

"You're welcome." She smiled. "We're all glad you're feeling better. I bet you will be out and about in no time."

Her younger sister grinned in a teasing way, "You know I always will."

Brooke couldn't help but giggle softly. She gently held her sister's hand in hers, happily. 

"Is there anything we can do for you while we're here?" Ariara asked, curiously, also wanting to help out any way she could.

Pat pondered about that question for a short time, wondering if she actually needed anything at the moment. She smiled politely; shaking her head, "No thanks. Thank you though."

Ariara could tell that she had no idea what they could do for her. So she nodded smiling, "Alright." Then she got an idea, "Are you hungry or thirsty at all?"

She nods, "Ya. Now that I think about it." She grins, "The cool thing is that I can call the nurse down whenever I need something." She preseed a button as they heard a female voice over the speaker.

"Hello Miss, how may I help you?"

"Hello. I was wondering if I could have some water and something to eat now." She spoke in a calm, friendly tone.

"Sure thing! What would you like to eat?" The nurse gave options until Pat came across something that intereged her.

"May I have some pineapple, please?"

"Sure thing, ma'am.  I'll bring your water and pineapple right up to you."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." They both then hung up. 

Not too long later, the lady walked into the room with Pat's order. She smiled a friendly smile at everyone as she handed Pat's things to her, "There you are ma'am."

"Thank you again."

"You're welcome. How are you feeling?"

"Better, thanks."

"You're welcome." She laughed softly. "Is there anything else you need before I leave?"

"No. Not what I can think of at the moment. Thanks though."

"You're welcome my dear. Enjoy your pineapple, and have a great day."

"Thanks. You too." The two smiled as the nurse left to go help another paitent. 

Pat grinned as she started eating her delisious pineapple. "Yum. Love pineapple. I'm so glad they had it here. I didn't think they had this at hospitals. Then again, I've never been to a hospital until now really." She was talking outloud to herself by this point, but she didn't mind. She was too happy to care.
