3rd POV: After punching each other in the face, the spider totem and man of steel were sent flying to either side of the city of metropolis.

Superman skidded across the ground before planting both hands into the ground to halt his momentum whilst Spiderman ended up skipping across the waters before righting himself in midair and forcefully stopping himself from going any further away.

The webslinger could see a bright yellow light in the city, knowing that it was Superman.

'I don't know where he's got that sudden power from, but he clearly doesn't have control of it.' Peter thought as he slowly rose in the air and noticed kal doing the same thing as him. 'I reckon it's only a matter of time until he blows up like that again. I guess the one good thing is that when it happened the first time, it left him severely weakened. If I can try and get him to do that again, preferably away from everyone, I should be able to beat him and head to Romy.'

(Omniverses)

Superman (JLU) hoped that peter would knock out his injustice counterpart long enough that his regime would be in temporary disarray. He was under no illusion that if the regime leader was beaten, the regime itself would fall. There were still the other main members of it, such as yellow lantern, Wonder Woman, hawkgirl, and perhaps many more that weren't there yet who could take over to temporarily keep the regime going.

He hopes that peter could meet up with that world's batman. With their 2 minds, they could most definitely find a way to stop the regime and free the world.

(Injustice world)

'Here he comes!!' The wallcrawler thought, body tensing.

Superman tossed a punch at super speed that peter narrowly avoided before zooming up to the sky, the man of steel giving chase.

Peter glanced behind him and raised a shield as the regime leader fired his heat vision at him. The webslinger grunted from the effort and noticed his shield beginning to crack and used a bit more power of the Web to enhance the shield and mend the cracks. Once high enough in the air, Peter dropped the shield and unleashed the flames of Faltine at Superman. The kryptonian tanked the flames and threw another punch through the smoke but hit nothing but air.

Superman looked around, trying to find Peter. The kryptonian's enhanced hearing picked up the sound of someone approaching him from behind and quickly turned around, his right arm outstretched as he caught Spiderman by the throat and clenched. The webslinger began to choke as he tried to pry the man's grip off of his throat. Superman prepared to use his heat vision once more, but Spiderman suddenly stopped struggling and calmly looked at the leader of the regime.

"Psyche." Spidey calmly said before his body glowed. Superman didn't have enough time to react as the reincarnation of anansi suddenly exploded, unleashing magical energy in every direction.

Superman got flung away, the magical damage having a great effect on him despite the yellow sun energy boost he was currently receiving. He knew that after the explosion he did in metropolis had weakened him severely, and now that he was essentially close to doing so again, it was greatly messing with body and anyone using kryptonite or magic would cause great harm to him.

The mystical energies from the explosion lingered in the air before reshaping and approaching Superman at high speeds before wrapping themselves around Superman, forming themselves into chains to hold the kryptonian in place as he began falling.

Spiderman came out of a portal, the totem that exploded being a clone that was created after the original used the flames of Faltine, and chased after the falling regime leader.

Cocking his fist back, Peter let out a yell as he punched superman across the face before grabbing his left leg and spun him around and after a few seconds, tossed him to a nearby island.

Superman, with some effort, broke out of the chains holding him and stopped himself from crashing into the island and sidestepped another punch coming from the wallcrawler and kicked him in the back in retaliation and used his freeze breath to push Spiderman into the ground of the island.

Spidey made a massive impact with the ground, grunting in slight pain before his spidey sense alerted him of danger, and he quickly moved out of the way as Superman's fist hit the place where he originally was.

Superman kept his pursuit up and got close to Spiderman and threw a hook at the webslinger who blocked the strike but got kneed in the stomach for his troubles. The totem grunted as the air temporarily left him, and kal followed up with more punches that landed across Peter's body, with the final one hitting spidey in the chest, causing him to stagger and then collapse to one knee.

"Come on, Pete." Dante muttered.

'Get up, brother.' Teresa thought, her arms folded.

'Don't let up beloved.' Bast thought as her eyes never left the screen.

'Bring him down, Parker. I know you got more fight in you.' Chris redfield thought.

"You got this, peter." Chun Li muttered as she bit her finger in anxiousness.

'Take him down.' Psylocke and Storm simultaneously thought.

(Injustice world)

"Getting tired?" Superman asked, his breathing getting heavy and staggering slightly in his movements. The power was taking a heavy toll on him.

"Are you?" Spiderman shot back before he charged into Superman and tackled him into the ground, got on top of him, and began throwing punch after punch at the man of steel.

Kal has his arms covering his face to block the hits before grabbing one of the fists and backhanded the other away and headbutting the hero from Queens and then kicking him away.

The regime leader flew up to the webslinger and fired his heat vision again with Spiderman retaliating with a magical orb that collided with the heat vision, creating a beam struggle between the 2.

"You can't beat me, peter!!" Kal yelled as he turned up the heat, pushing the orb back towards spidey.

"Watch me!" Peter yelled back before charging up and firing an even bigger orb that used a fusion of the power of the web and magic that absorbed the small one and was winning the beam clash.

Superman kept trying to push the orb back but was having no such luck and ended up bringing his hands up to hold the orb and try and push it back.

"Give up, and I stop it from blowing." Peter said, his hand raised in the direction of the orb. "I don't want to fight you anymore, but if you keep going, I'll fight just as hard!"

"Never!!" Kal'el roared, the heat beginning to increase as the flames on his body started to rise.

"Then clench your teeth." Spiderman suggested as the webslinger clenched his hand into a fist.

The orb began to expand and push Superman back. The man of steel triee pushed it back but, much to his shock, saw his hands get sucked into the orb, and soon his entire body was pulled into it.

Kal yelled in pain as he felt the magic of the orb attack him, weakening him greatly, his body spasming, but through the pain came anger, and the heat on his body increased to epic proportions as Superman started to curl up into a ball, getting ready to release all the solar energy he had left inside him.

'Here it comes.' Spidey thought as his spidey sense warned him of what Superman was about to do.

Acting quickly, Peter called upon the power of the Web once again, using more power that would stretch his mental binds and cause him pain afterwards, but he wanted to minimise the potential damage the kryptonian could do, and erected multiple barriers around the orb.

it was done just in time.

Superman exploded in a massive ball of solar energy that broke the orb and tried to break through the barriers. The solar energy managed to break through 3 barriers and was slowly cracking through the 4th.

Peter grunted in pain as he tried to keep the remaining barriers in place before calling upon more power from the web to condense the barriers and smother the solar energy. Spidey was able to do that but needed to transfer the energy somewhere far away and decided to funnel the energy into an open portal and closed a millisecond later with the explosion taking place in space.

Peter grunted in exhaustion as he watched Superman's unconscious body fall to the island and crash into the ground.

"It didn't have to come this." Spidey uttered before he flinched and held a scream as sparks struck his body, causing him to lose focus and also fall a few meters away from Superman.

The webslinger got to his knees before lifting his mask up slightly and spat out some blood and trying to even his breathing as the sparks continued to assault his body.

"Time to get out of here." Spidey muttered as he tried to stand up.

Everyone hoped that Spiderman would be able to get away before the regime found Spiderman. The webhead had a little girl to protect, and he did not need the trouble.

But not everything goes as planned.

(Injustice world)

"You are not going anywhere." A voice said from above as spidey looked up and frowned.

'Crap.' Peter thought in annoyance.

The regime had arrived.

Wonder Woman.

Nightwing.

Cyborg.

Yellow lantern.

Hawkgirl.

Shazam.

Flash.

Aquaman.

Raven.

Killer frost.

Grundy.

Sinestro.

Catwoman.

Bane.

Black Adam

And Doomsday.

(Omniverses)

"Sinestro..." john Stuart (JLU) growled at the sight of the traitorous lantern.

"Doomsday too." Superman (JLU) said as he narrowed his eyes.

"Why would that beast work with the regime?" Wonder woman (JLU) asked aloud.

"Who's to say he joiner willingly?" Martian manhunter (JLU) asked back.

"Not to mention the various people from our rouges gallery being a part of the regime." Batman (JLU) noted.

"They probably joined because if they didn't, they'd be dead." Hawkgirl (JLU) said as she narrowed her eyes at her counterpart.

"This is insane." Flash (JLU) muttered.

(With kang)

The conqueror cracked his knuckles as he typed on 2 of his monitors. The war in the injustice world was interesting, but he wanted to raise the stakes and bring new players in.

He would start with the first phase.

With that, kang pressed a button and started pulling people from different omniverses.

(Injustice world)

"For attacking the high councillor, you're coming with us." Wonder woman said, unsheathing her sword. "Come quietly or face the consequences of your defiance." She ordered.

"The only way you're taking me is if I'm a corpse." Spiderman retorted as she slowly stood up on shaky legs.

"That can be easily arranged." Sinestro said with a smile as he raised his power ring up, ready to fire.

"YOU WILL NOT TOUCH HIM!!" A voice from above yelled as the clouds darkened before lightning struck the ground around the regime members, causing them to back away.

The sky opened up to reveal storm descending and landing in front of Spiderman.

Nightwing went to rush the X woman but stopped and blocked a katana as psylocke appeared and ambushed nightwing and kicked him back and backing up next to storm.

"You want him, you go through us." Betsy said.

Cyborg raised his arm that morphed into a cannon and tried to fire, but -

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Three bullets impacted cyborg metal frame with one hitting the cannon and making the canon fire at the ground.

"Can't have that now." A confident voice said as multiple footsteps approached and 2 people started coming out, 2 people that stormed, and Spiderman knew.

"Trish/Dante?!" Ororo and Peter yelled in shock at their familiar allies.

"Sup? It's been a while!" Dante greeted with Trish, sending a little wink Peter's way.

"Hadouken/Kikoken!!" 2 other voices yelled as 2 blasts hit Bane and Grundy from behind and knocking them to the ground.

2 more people jumped out and stood next to the X women as Dante and Trish joined them.

"Chun Li?! Ryu, too?!" Peter couldn't help but exclaim.

"Take a break spidey, will take it from here." Chun li said as ryu tightened his headband.

The sky darkened again before lightning struck shazam and black Adam as raiden slowly descended from the sky.

Wonder Woman charged at the group, but someone rushed past the raiden and met Wonder Woman halfway and clashed with the amazon's sword.

"Who dares?!" Diana yelled as she managed to get a good look at her opponent and saw that it was the edenian princess.

"I do." Kitana growled as her blade fans met Diana's sword before she pushed Wonder Woman away and joined the X women and the others.

"Grundy crush puny bugs!" Solomon yelled as he rushed the group.

"HULK SMASH KNOCKOFF HULK!!!" A familiar raging voice said from above before descending on Grundy and smashing him into the ground and kicking him away.

Catwoman and Killer Frost tried to ambush them, but we're intercepted.

"No, you don't!" Someone yelled as a web hit catwoman in the face, temporarily blinding her before she got kicked upside the head by kaine Parker.

Frost threw ice shards at kaine, who sidestepped out of the way, leaving the ice villainess open to be punched across the face by Ben Reilly.

"You mess with one Parker..." Ben began.

"You mess with all parkers." Kaine ended as he released his stingers.

Yellow lantern tried to rush too but got blasted back by Carol danvers, who landed next to storm.

"You're not touching Peter." Carol growled.

"You impotent little-GAH!!" Sinestrto tried to say before someone rushed him and punched the yellow lantern leader in the chest and moving next to the forming group.

"Who are you?" Betsy asked as she narrowed her eyes at the unfamiliar woman.

"Think of me as an ally." Grail vaguely answered.

Raven prepared to fire a blast at Grail but was hit from behind by a familiar succubus who joined the others.

"Now, now, Darling. We can't have you hurt someone now, can we?" Morrigan asked with a smile on her face.

Doomsday tried to attack the group with the Hulk getting ready to meet the monster halfway, but once again, the clouds darkened, and the wind seemed to have picked up greatly.

"Have at thee foul creature!!!!" A voice yelled as thor appeared from the skies and smashed his hammer into Doomsday's face with another figure flying past thor and performing a palm strike, creating a mirage of a panther that struck at Doomsday, pushing him back

"You will go no further." Shuri said as she joined Storm's side.

"This regime will fall, and the world WILL be free." Thor yelled as he joined his fellow Marvel heroes.

The regime members recovered from the surprise attacks and grouped up and stood in front of the downed Superman with the newly formed group doing the same with Spiderman.

"Be careful." Spidey uttered as he fell to one knee, trying to recover his strength.

"Just focus on getting better, Peter." Carol said gently.

The regime stood side by side as they got ready to battle their opponents.

"What's the play storm?" Dante asked, grabbing his other pistol and lazily spinning them.

Storm, Psylocke, and Captain Marvel glanced at each other, having a mental conversation between each other before they nod and speak simultaneously.

"We fight." The 3 women said at once before they advanced towards the regime members with the others following closely.

"This should be good." Flash muttered as the regime also advanced.

It started with a walk....

Then a small jog....

Before eventually....

"They're not stopping." Chun li muttered.

"Neither are we." Scarler spider said.

They all broke into a sprint or started flying....

And with a mighty roar from both sides....

The next battle begins.
