A/N: I also saw the poll for the last chapter, and from the looks of it, most have chosen the Marvel rivals suit. Thank you, guys, for voting. Peter will still be wearing the classic red and blue suit for the moment, but that will change soon, but other than that, enjoy the chapter.

3rd POV: Super skrull tossed multiple fireballs at Captain Marvel, who dodged them effortlessly before tanking the last one, enveloping her in scorching heat but she did not care for the flames, she only focused on her target. The kree hybrid fired her own energy blast at the skrull with the powers of fantastic four who used his elasticity to maneuver the top half of his body out of the way but he couldn't react fast enough to Danvers rocketing to him and headbutting him full force, knocking him off of his feet and go flying into the wall. The female Avenger wasted no time and gave chase, and ducked under under a stretched molten rock fist that came at her and drove her eblow into super skrull's stomach, further denting him into the wall.

Whilst the fight had only just started, many could see that Carol would win it thanks to whatever Peter did to her before the battle.

"Do you guys think she meant it?" Flash (JLU) asked his fellow league members.

"Meant what?" Superman (JLU) asked the speedster.

"You know..." The speedster then shoved his fist forward, clenched it, and then pulled his arm back as if ripping something out and then shoving his fist forwards again but a little higher. "That." He answered.

"Probably/possibly." The amazon and thanagarian answered, giving their own opinions.

"Captain Marvel should hand super skrull over to the queen and let her decide his fate once she defeats him." Batman (JLU) said.

"The skrull took a shot at the queen and failed, not to mention admitting that he planned to start a revolution that would've most likely led to the deaths of thousands of skrulls." John Stewart spoke up, knowing from experience that many civilisations across the galaxy would not let a usurper stay alive. "I don't think she's going to let him live after this. Heck, she'll probably let Danvers put him down." He added.

"Much like how aquaman personally took care of his brother." Martian manhunter (JLU) brought up.

"Or the justice Lords who murdered president luthor." Diana prince (JLU) further added.

That brought everyone to silence as they remembered those 2 occasions.

"We never know what we're truly capable of." The daily planet reporter said after a moment of silence, getting everyone's attention.

"Let's hope that we are never pushed to the point of ever finding that out." The Gotham billionaire said, getting a general agreement from everyone.

'If I ever ripped someone's heart or plunged my fist through someone's chest, then I would have truly lost my way. The temptation to kill luthor after flash disappeared momentarily was very tempting.' The kryptonian thought as his hands interlocked. 'But like I told Lex, I'm not that man, no matter how much I wished to heaven that I was, but I'm not.' His lips then quirked up a little. 'And if I ever did lose my way, I'd trust my friends to stop me, or at least help be bring me back onto the right path.' He thought, feeling confident that his friends would help him.

Meanwhile, in the injustice universe, certain members of the regime who were once a part of the justice league suddenly sneezed.

Superman (injustice) approved of Carol planning to kill super skrull. He knew what it felt like to feel as if you're very world has been taken away due to the actions of one man. For him, it was the loss of Lois, his son, and metropolis at the hands of the joker. For Carol, it was the loss of time and never getting to marry the love of her life, he had no doubt that if captain Marvel knew of the terrible things that Spiderman suffered in her abscence, heads will roll and people will be atomised and he was all for it for her to take matters into her own hands, just he like he di-

"I hate you."

The leader of the regime tensed as the words of Lois echoed in his head. Every now and then, when he believed he had a moment of peace, her voice came back. He tried to ignore it, though, for he knew that what he did, what he's been doing, what he had been doing, was the right thing.

The regime would continue to stand...

The one earth government will not fall...

And humanity will never live in fear of their loved ones suffering to criminals.

(Earth 616)

Captain Marvel then followed up with 2 punches across the skrull's face before ducking another molten rock covered punch from super skrull and then following it up with a 5 punch combo to his chest before grabbing him by the face and tossing him away.

"Get up. I'm not finished with you." Carol growled as she slowly approached super skrull, her hands being surrounded by energy, ready to fire a photon blast or punch the daylights out of her opponent.

The skrull, with the powers of the fantastic four, slowly stood up, blood dripping down his nose as he growled at the approaching kree hybrid, almost frothing.

"I will not be defeated by the likes of you!!!" Super skrull yelled as he covered himself in flames and flew at full speed towards captain Marvel, colliding into her.

The 2 powerful beings ended up smashing through the window and flying out into space, the air being sucked out of the room.

"Crap!" Spiderman yelled as he surrounded himself and veranke into a magical sphere as they were sucked out of the ship just as a barrier came up to halt the suction.

"Too close." Spidey said before more explosions could be seen at the corner of his eye. The wallcrawler and skrull queen turned to see that the fighting had gone through multiple ships, and they were now caught in the earth's gravity and were slowly but surely descending.

"My people!" The Queen of the skrulls called out as she put her hands on the sphere, watching hopelessly as the ships began to descend.

"Don't worry, I've got an idea." Peter reassured the skrull queen as he opened multiple portals around him, showing the descending ships. 'This is gonna hurt.' The wallcrawler thought.

With a deep breath and a slight increase in strength from the Web, Peter fired multiple webs through the opened portals and pulled on them with all of his might, his body straining from holding the skrull vessels. The ships were halted in their descent, but the webs soon snapped, and the skrull ships began to fall again.

"No!" Peter yelled. 'No choice.' He thought and closed his eyes and called upon more power from the Web, greatly enhancing his mystical abilities and with a yell, he fired more powerful webs that expanded and stretched around the falling ships and began pulling on them again, stopping the ships once more.

"{Peter!}" The voice of Ororo Munroe called out through the mental link. "{Don't use too much of the web's power! You'll-}"

"{I KNOW!!!}" Peter yelled as he began to fill the effects of using more power from the Web than what he should. Sparks started to appear and shoot sharp pains across his body, and he could feel the mental binds that psylocke put on him begin to strain as his shards of memories started to crack and expand with the binds trying to keep them contained and not shatter.

Suddenly , purple/pink arms wrapped around Peter, causing him to turn around and to lightly gasp as he saw, what seemed to be psylocke with a cerebro helmet covering her head, manifesting herself within his mind, her mouth quirked up in smile.

"{I've got you, Pete.}" She mentally told the wallcrawler as she then put her hands at the side of his head. "{I've also got the skrulls hinding on earth under my control. It's a pain, but I'll manage. I'll take care of the mental bindings. Just hold on a little longer, ok?}" She asked as she got to work.

Peter said nothing but gave a small nod as hr kept hold on the webs, as the skrull queen merely watched on, hopeful that the fight between captain Marvel and super skrull would end and her people aboard the damaged ships to be safe.

Everyone remained quiet as they watched the issues unfold. They knew that peter using the Web was always risky, but to see him use it now to keep the ships from descending towards earth, made many wary of what will happen if he uses huge amounts of power from the Web and if the binds that the British telepath put on will hold, though the wariness elevated with psylocke being there to assist the wallcrawler.

Those who were thinking of ways to help/stop Spiderman from dying began taking mental notes of the effects of the web's power and ways to counteract them.

(Earth 616 - with captain Marvel and super skrull)

Super skrull flew out of a damaged ship with Captain Marvel giving chase, increasing her speed to get close and sending a punch across Super skrulls face, sending him away.

Super skrull managed to right himself up and yelled in anger, and fired flames at the kree hybrid who tanked it as she covered herself in energy and then threw another punch, staggering the skrull. The skrull who fought the fantastic four kept trying to land a hit on the avenger, but Carol was too quick for him.

"What's the matter?" Captain Marvel asked as she sidestepped and backhanded the skrull. "You're acting like you've never been hit by someone your own size before, or better than you." The kree hybrid said before flying past a stretched fist and kicking him in his back and sending a photon blast that, sending the skrull further away. "You have to turn with the punch to reduce -" Carol began giving advice before slapping away Super skrull's attack and sending a photon powered punch to Super skrull's face.

Super skrull recoils, and both hands go to his face before he pulls them back to see blood on them. He then feels more of his blood flowing from his nose like a waterfall, and his gaze becomes red as he focuses on the kree hybrid.

"Better." Carol said with a smirk before axe kicking super skrull towards earth and grabbing him him by his face and the 2 descend at high speeds towards earth.

"Enough!!!" Super skrull screamed, flames erupting him into a nova blast, knocking captain Marvel back and allowing the skrull to grab Carol and change their trajectory to the moon and the 2 crash into it, making a huge crater.

Super skrull staggers but eventually gets up and looks around for the kree hybrid through the smoke, spitting out some blood. Just when he thought he won, he hears footsteps, and his eyes widen as he takes a few steps back, his breathing getting slightly erratic.

"What's the matter? Are you gonna cry?" Carol asked as she stepped out of the smoke.

"I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!" Super skrull bellowed, realising another nova blast, causing Carol to skid back a bit before super skrull flies towards her and begins to use all his strength to fire the strongest heat blast he could.

"When I'm through with you! I will fry that little shit husband of yours!" Super skrull ranted, as Carol's hands twitched at the mention of Spiderman. "All those pathetic skrulls who are like veranke!! And every person you know!" He promised.

Captain Marvel wouldn't stand for it, and so she acted.

She quickly reached up and grabbed the jaw of super skrull, clenched on it...

And pulled.

What came next was downright brutal.

For captain, Marvel had dislocated his jaw and ripped off the flesh to where you could see bone.

(Omniverses)

Everyone recoiled at the brutal sight, most puked, others looked away, and many either shrugged at the brutality or just watched without any reaction.

Meanwhile, a certain 'hero' wearing the American flag as a cape felt an ominous shiver go down his spine whilst a warrior from another omniverse who looked suspiciously like a young JJJ hummed at the brutality.

(Earth 616)

Super skrull's eyes widened as he ceased using the flames as his hands shakenly went to his jaw, letting out horrified noises, but he did not touch it as he tried to look down at it, completely ignoring Carol danvers.

That was a mistake.

Instead of seeing his jaw, the skrull instead saw an arm punch straight through his chest and felt it come out the other side.

The silent kree hybrid Avenger had a grip on Super skrull's heart before yanking her bloody arm back and held the beating heart in front of her.

Super skrull collapsed to his knees and, somehow still alive, tried to reach for his heart, but his strength left him, and he faltered.

"Remember what I promised you." Captain Marvel uttered and super skrull stared up at the woman, finally taking in her appearance and realising that he was never gonna win from the start.

(Omniverses)

Whilst many, especially the captain marvels and Ms Marvels of the Marvel omniverse, were in awe of the kree hybrid's new form, many paused and remembered what Carol swore before she fought super skrull and many mentally and physically braced themselves.

(Earth 616)

Carol then shoved the beating heart into Super skrull's gaping jaw with said skrull, making gagging noises as his heart was firmly placed in his mouth, allowing Carol to do the next step and placed both of her hands on each side of super skrull's face.

"Now swallow." Captain Marvel ordered as she began to squeeze slowly, applying pressure at first, making sure he felt every second of pain, but after 5 seconds, she had enough and applied more pressure.

Super skrull let out a scream behind his heart as his skull began to cave in around his brain.

The last thing he saw before his life ended was the smirking face of Captain Marvel before his head was squashed.

And his life was snuffed out.

This time, only a few people puked at the sight, and many swallowed it back down. Everyone else merely cringed at what the avenger did or turned their heads away, not wanting to see it.

(Earth 616)

Captain Marvel watched as the headless body of super skrull fell to the side before she shook her hands to get rid of the brain and skull fragments on them.

"Now we're even." Captain Marvel said before she looked up to where Peter was, and a small smile came to her face.

The kree hybrid slowly levitated before shooting off towards her the hero from Queens.

Even though it felt like she was gone for a short time for her, it had been way too long for Peter.

She had to make up for that....

And once this whole skrull situation was resolved....

She was gonna show him how much he meant to her.

A/N: and another chapter done. I think one or two more chapters with the skrulls, and then we can move on to the next little mini arc in Earth 616 and then move on from the Marvel omniverse for awhile.
