A/N: Question to you all. In the last chapter, I asked your thoughts on the updated Spiderman suit in Marvel rivals, and most said they liked it. That being said, the question is this, should spiderman in this story:

Wear the Marvel rivals suit?

Or

Stick with the classic red and blue look?

A/N: Let me know your answers. With that out of the way, let's begin.

3rd POV: In the Marvel omniverse, Ms Marvel (EMH and TAS) stared at their 616 counterpart in silence before an angry frown appeared on her face. So their counterpart was captured by the skrulls? When? Where and how and for how long was she missing in action? Days? Weeks? Months? Maybe even years? What did the skrull impersonating her do in their place? They almost didn't want to find out.

Meanwhile, everyone who was familiar with the kree hybrid and those outside of the Marvel omniverse was shocked (or elated in the case of some of her rogues gallery) to see the current predicament carol danvers was in, it made people ponder.

Was the skrulls only holding her prisoner to keep the skrull impersonating captain Marvel from having their cover blown?

Or was there something more at play?

Judging by the wires and cables hooked up to the avenger, most had a feeling that something nefarious was at play.

(Earth 616 - with the magical clone of Spiderman)

The magic clone was shocked to see the kree hybrid on board the skrull ship, and a thought came to his head, one that made him tense.

Did veranke order the capture of Carol? If so, why? Was the original Spiderman in danger?

A low groan snapped the copy out of his thoughts before he could delve any deeper, and his full attention was solely on the blonde in front of him.

Carol's eyes fluttered for a moment. A cough escaped her lips before she, with great difficulty, it seemed, opened her eyes and slowly looked at his mask face, blinking away the drowsiness before her eyes narrowed on the wallcrawler before she gave him a tired smile.

"Peter?" She asked, her voice coarse and scratchy. "Come to save me, huh?" She asked with a chuckle before she coughed a bit more. "Sorry if I took so long. I hope I haven't missed our wedding." She said with the same tired smile on her face, her eyes slowly fluttering as she struggled to stay awake.

The clone of Spiderman flinched at what she said.

Oh boy, this was not good. Not good indeed.

A/N: I know the whole marriage thing is most likely made up, but for the sake of this story, I've decided to make this a thing that was gonna happen.

(Omniverses)

Everyone took a pause at what the kree hybrid said. Many winced in sympathy whilst others just didn't give a damn.

Carol (TAS) sat laid in her hospital bed as she stared at the screen. Another version of her lost, however much time of her life, and she was going to be married as well? She could only hope that her 616 counterpart wasn't broken enough to break from the news of how long she was missing.

Meanwhile, with Ms. Marvel of the EMH universe, she ignored everyone who stared at her and Peter. Her counterpart was going to be married only to be taken away by the skrulls. A feeling of hopelessness overtook her. That could've been her, bound and unable to move, wasting away as the days went by, wondering if she would ever be free. She wondered if Cap felt like that? He didn't speak of his time being held captive, but if she had to guess, the man always held out hope and plotted for a way to free himself from the skrulls, and he did eventually.

Carol took a breath and locked eyes with the screen once more. If the cap could break out from the skrulls, then she had no doubt that her counterpart could as well.

She just needs a little help.

And she got it in the form of one amazing Spiderman.

(Earth 616)

Wordlessly, the magically created clone of Spiderman used his magic to destroy the restraints, cables, and wiring, holding captain Marvel and draining her of her energy, causing the avenger to start falling but Spiderman quickly caught her and gently descended to the ground and held the barely awake Carol danvers close to his chest.

"When could you do that?" The kree Hybrid asked in astonishment.

"Long story." Spidey answered.

"So what's next? Break out of her and kick the ass of anyone who gets in the way and make it back in time for the wedding?" She asked, staring into the masked lenses with a smile as she reached a hand up and caressed Spiderman's masked face but frowned when peter gently grabbed her hand, lowered it but didn't let go. "Peter?" She asked, his silence worrying her. "What's wrong?"

"Carol." The magic clone paused, not knowing what to say or how to even tell her the truth, but he knew that he had to tell her, and as much as he hated it, it was probably best to say it now. "The wedding was over a long time ago." He began, watching as Carol's face changed from worry to one of dread as the words hit her, which then further increased when the wallcrawler continued. "You've been gone for years." He declared.

"What?" Carol whispered, the words replaying over and over in her head, not wanting to believe them. "No, i-it can't be true." She refused, tears building from her eyes. "I was supposed to help the guardians with a mission and then come straight back to you!" The kree hybrid cried out before locking eyes with Spiderman. "You must've thought I abandoned you, didn't you?! That wasn't my intention, Peter! I swear I was to come back to you after I helped the guardians. I wouldn't have left you! I swear, I wouldn't!! You have to believe me, please!" She continued to cry. It wasn't her intention to abandon Peter. It never was. She loves him.

The magic copy merely held Carol close to him, trying to console her. Before he could utter a word, alarms started blaring.

'Crap.' The magic clone cursed.

(With the original Spiderman and veranke)

Right after Peter asked kang if the skrulls could come with him to template earth, the alarms blared, putting the 2 on high alert at what was causing it.

A portal opened up close to Peter, and the magic copy he made came out of it, holding one captain Marvel in a bridal carry.

"Carol?!" The original Peter yelled in shock, moving away from veranke and quickly approaching the duo that arrived via portal.

The magic copy said nothing but gently placed Carol down on the ground, allowing Peter to hold onto Captain Marvel and giving the clone copy to disintegrate into golden particles. Peter's eyes glowed gold for a moment, the memories from his copy transferring to him. By the time it was done, Peter gazed down at a silent Carol who was looking at the window showing earth.

"Oh Carol...." Peter muttered as he held her close and ran his fingers through her hair. "I'm so sorry." He whispered but got nothing from the kree hybrid.

Silence filled the room except for the alarms that continued to blare before Peter took a deep breath and slowly turned his head to glare at the shocked queen of the skrulls.

"Did you have a hand in this?" He asked. "Did you take her away and lock her up?" He growled as he held the non respondent captain Marvel

"No!" Veranke answered. "I did not order her capture, Peter. I swear on my life and the life of every skrull that I did not order it or have any involvement with her capture." She stated firmly.

The spider totem stared in the eyes of veranke for a while, and after a moment, his glare softened, but his gaze stayed narrowed.

"Then who did?" Peter asked.

⚡️⚡️⚡️Fireball incoming⚡️⚡️⚡️

Acting on instinct, Peter shot a web at the queen of the skrulls and pulled her towards him, narrowingly saving her from being burnt to ash. Peter managed to catch her in one arm and turned to look at the person who threw the fireball and saw the approaching figure of super skrull.

"I'm guessing he did." Dante said as bit into another pizza whilst twirling his pistol in another hand.

"Ok, seriously, where the hell are these pizzas coming from?" Trish asked as she stared at the son of sparda. "I don't even remember seeing that many pizzas being ordered." She added as she also stared at the many pizza boxes littering in a corner.

"I just ordered some more." Dante said after finishing his slice and opening another pizza box and holding it out to Trish. "Wants a slice?" He asked.

"......sure." She said after a moment of silence and grabbing a slice and going back to watch the screen.

(Earth 616)

"What is the meaning of this?!" Veranke yelled in outrage.

"A revolution." Super skrull answered, his hands igniting and turning them into rocks. "You have failed as a queen to lead the skrulls to victory and cost us the earth when we failed to invade it, you have become soft hearted and refused to fight and instead choose to run, making us be seen as cowards and worst of all, you allow yourself to fall to the words of that pathetic human!" He yelled as he pointed at a glaring wallcrawler. "Your feelings for him have made you weak and unfit to lead. It is time for the skrulls to be led by someone new, someone strong, someone who will not hesitate to make the sacrifices that you could never do!" Super skrull bellowed.

(Omniverses)

In the DC omniverse, Batman (injustice) frowned within his hideout. The way he spoke reminded him of Clark when he and the other members of the regime decided to take matters into their own hands and went around the world doing whatever they felt was necessary, beginning the process of what would one day be the one earth government. He hoped Spiderman would stop super skrull before he could do anything to influence the skrulls, but it might be too late for some of the skrulls because for all he knows, maybe most of them share the same views as super skrull.

He just had to wait and see.

(Earth 616)

"Why take Carol?" Spidey questioned  body tensed and ready for any attack that will come his way.

"There was an opportunity, and i took it." Super skrull answered a grin on his face. "She shouldn't have strayed too far from the guardians of the Galaxy, but she could never resist trying to save the weak, it's what made her easy to capture, without help, she couldn't last long against overwhelming numbers." He said. "Such a shame she missed her wedding though, she was looking forward to spending the rest of her life with you but instead got to spend her days as a-GAH!!!" Super skrull mocked before he was hit by a powerful energy blast and sent flying.

Peter and veranke turned to the person who fired, which turned out to be captain Marvel with her arm outstretched and hair, creating a shadow over her eyes.

"You..." Carol whispered. "You took me away from him...." She whispered as she slowly moved to get up, managing to get to a knee and almost fallen if not for Peter gently holding her. "You made me waste away in that goddammed cell..." The kree hybrid then unsteadily got to her feet "FOR YEARS!!!" Her hands started to glow. "You took my life from me. You took me away from the man that I love with all my heart." She growled. "And I swear to every God that is out there...." The former Miss Marvel closed her eye and took a breath to steady herself before she opened them, her mouth voicing out a promise. "I'm going to feed you your own heart." She promised.

A tense silence filled the room after Carol's promise.

"Carol." Peter called out, getting a glance from the blonde in question. "Let me deal with this." He requested. "You can barely stand, and you've been out of action for a long time. Do you think you've got enough strength to even fight?" He asked.

"Peter, he robbed me of perhaps the best day of my life and took me away from you." Carol danvers said, her voice wavering slightly. "It's because of him that I never made it back home, back to you." At this, the blonde avenger finally turned to face Peter. "I need to make him pay, I need to do this." She said.

Peter stared at the woman who would've become his wife a long time ago before he sighed. As much as he wanted Carol to rest and let him handle it, he knew that she would not budge on this. It was something that he annoyed and loved about her.

"Alright." Peter sighed. "But at least let me do something." Spidey suggested as his hands glowed. "I haven't done this before, but I think I can get it to work." He said before he placed his hands on captain Marvel's back and channelled the power of the Web.

Nothing happened for a moment before Carol gasped as an overwhelming amount of power came through her, giving back the strength she originally had as well as unintentionally connecting her to the Web of life and through that, connected to every Carol danvers in the Marvel omniverse.

Every Carol danvers in the Marvel omniverse had their eyes glowing as they became connected to their 616 counterpart. It was through this connection that they momentarily saw the moments captain Marvel of Earth 616 treasured most with the wallcrawler, with those memories came the feelings that brought along with it, the unconditional love could be felt through these memories as well as the rage and loss she suffered at finding out that she had lost years of her life because of super skrull and those that supported him. With this in mind, they uttered 4 words that sent shivers down the spines of those who heard them.

"Put. Him. Down. Permanently."

(Earth 616)

"Put. Him. Down. Permanently."

Carol didn't know where the voices came from, but what she did know was that the voices were hers. Maybe she was going mad and hearing her thoughts, or maybe the boost in power had something to do with it, but she could not bear to care where they came from.

With her strength brought back, Carol slowly levitated up in the air, her body covered in a golden aura and stared down at the angrily glaring super skrull.

'Gladly.' Captain Marvel said, answering the request/order the voices gave her.

The captain will have her revenge.

And she will make it excruciating.
