A/N: I apologise for any spelling mistakes I make.

3rd POV: As he walked through the portal, Peter found himself on the outskirts of wakanda. Looking around, he used his spidey sense, enhanced with the power of the Web, to send a pulse outwards, and it doesn't take long for something to trigger his spidey sense in a similar fashion to when it happened on the hellicarrier. Humming in response, he walks to where his senses are leading him.

"《Could it be....?》" The voice of anansi echoed in Peter's head, but the wallcrawler did not answer the spider god as he continued to walk the path.

Pushing past a few bushes and branches, Peter stopped in his tracks as he was now in front of a very familiar temple.

(Omniverses)

Everyone observed the temple, curious about its significance to Peter and anansi. It was obvious that it was most likely related to them due to the spider symbol, and even though they were watching it, those who have magical capabilities could feel the various mystical and godlike power that radiated from the temple. Entity's from 616 who felt infinity's power around the temple, mentally questions why her power was felt there and what was her involvement in this. The entities didn't interact with each other much nor with mortals and would only ever speak to each other when there were matters involving dangerous individuals threatening the existence of the multiverse or a Mortal gaining power equal to them and using it for dangerous purposes, so to sense infinity's power around the temple of anansi had various beings question the history between the 2.

(Template Earth)

Spidey stared at it, saying nothing even as anansi began to fully materialise next to the wallcrawler. Once he was fully formed, Peter turned to him.

"Why's it calling to us?" Spidey asked.

"It probably sensed our presence." Anansi said, walking towards his temple, taking his mask off as he stared at his temple. "It has been so long since I've seen it...." He stopped at one of the walls and placed his hand on it. The temple thrummed with power, almost as if it woke up from a long slumber. "I thought it was destroyed along with all the other temples." He muttered, but it was enough for spidey to hear who frowned in confusion.

"The others?" Peter asked, causing anansi to turn to his reincarnation.

"Do you not remember Peter?" The spider god asked. "Do you not remember who destroyed them?" He asked further.

Peter frowned and closed his eyes, trying to access his memories and try to find any sort of recollection of such an event happening as his time as anansi but could not get anything related to the destruction of anansi's temples and eventually gave up.

"No." Peter sighed out. "Why can't I remember it?" He asked a hand to his head.

"Well...." anansi rubbed the back of his head as he began to speak. Peter saw the action and couldn't help but let out a snort as he could see that he apparently inherited that little tick from his previous life. "I can only assume that since we're not merged together, you don't get my memories, and with pieces of your soul being taken by mephisto and your memories currently being held together by psylocke's binds, you are not exactly going to remember anything that happened when you were.... well me." The spider god explained before pointing to himself at the end. "Not to mention that you're well......" anansi paused before putting a thumb to his neck and moving it across as he made chocking sounds.

"Thanks for reminding me that I'm dying." Peter deadpanned at the spider god.

(Omniverses)

Many people friendly with the wallcrawler didn't like being reminded of Spiderman's limited time among the living.

Morrigan began to wonder if there was a way to extend or perhaps cease Spiderman from dying with magic, a thought shared by Dante and Trish.

Bast, konshu, and zarathos hated the reminder. Their friend was alive, and now they find out that he is dying again.

'No, I won't let you die. I refuse.' Bast thought, her grip on anansi's mask tightening but not enough to crack it. 'I can't lose you, not again.' She continued to think, a determined glint in her eyes. Ideas began to form in her mind on ways to possibly save anansi from dying. Psylocke may have held the shattering of anansi's memories, and by extension, his mind and soul, but that's all she did. It would only be a matter of time before anansi pushed past his limits and perhaps used the power of the Web to a greater extent to battle an opponent or an enemy from his past and present will take advantage of his state and try to finish him off.

And she will not allow that.

Never again.

(Template Earth)

"Sorry." Anansi sheepishly apologised before looking back at his temple. "I do wonder why it's near wakanda, I never built it here." He wondered.

Before anything else could be said, the temple hummed, catching both spider's attention. The humming grew louder and louder before the temple erupted in a flash of light.

Peter covered his eyes to shield himself from the blinding light. Only when the light died down did he stop shielding his eyes.

He was still at the temple, and that much was clear, but everything seemed to be greyed out minus himself and anansi.

"What just happened?"

"The temple is showing us something." Anansi answered as he looked around their surroundings. "It's most likely answering my query." He added an afterthought.

"It can do that?" Peter asked as he also looked around their surroundings.

"I built the temple, and it responds to my will." He said before pausing for a second and then continuing. "Or OUR will rather. Either way, it's gonna show us something -" anansi paused as he stilled, looking at a figure calmly walking out of the bushes behind Spiderman.

Seeing anansi's frozen state, spidey also spun around to see a golden form begin to materialise as they kept walking towards them. Only after the figure fully materialised did the spider God's frozen form melt, and he slowly approached the figure.

"Bast?" Anansi whispered as he got nearer to the panther goddess.

(Omniverses)

Hearing him call out to her, made Bast focus intently on her friend, ignoring anything and everything around her. Konhsu and zarathos noticed this but made no comment about it. After all, if the temple was showing what they believed it to be showing, then they knew what was to come.

Meanwhile, those familiar with the panther goddess, specifically the wakandans, gasped in surprise, shock, and awe at seeing the panther with many conversing with eachother and wondering what was the connection between their goddess and the spider god.

(Template Earth)

Anansi stopped in front of bast with the panther goddess paying no heed and phasing right through him and continuing through the temple. Anansi turned to watch the panther goddess' leaving form, frowning as he remembered that this was just a memory.

"Sorry, man." Peter said as he stood next to his former self.

"Don't worry about it." Anansi said as he continued to stare at bast. "Let's just keep watching." He suggested.

A loud caw could be heard, and both spider totems look to see a flaming fenix descending towards the ground. The flames dissipated before revealing a woman with fiery red hair and green eyes, wearing a furred cloak and bast turned fully to the newcomer.

"Is that who I think it is?" Peter asked.

"Pheonix." Anansi AND bast both said, narrowing their eyes at the pheonix force.

'She looks a lot like Jean.' Peter couldn't help but notice.

(Omniverses)

Jean greys and pheonix forces across the Marvel omniverse also noticed it and mentally wondered the odds that the pheonix force has ended up with the Jean grey of earth 616.

(Template Earth)

"Bast!" The eyes of the Jean grey lookalike suddenly lit up in flames, indicating that the pheonix force was in control. "You took something from me!!!" She bellowed.

"I did no such thing." Bast replied calmly.

"Don't lie to me!!!" The fire bird yelled as she aggressively stomped towards the panther goddess. "You think you can just take away anansi's temple?! It is not yours!!!" She yelled, flames flickering across her.

"And neither is it yours!!!!" Bast yelled out, a purple aura surrounding her. "The only one that it belonged to was the man that is no longer with us!!! And it's all because of you!!!!!" She accused.

The phoenix abruptly stops her approach, remembering the sinful act she committed.

"I didn't mean for this to happen...." The pheonix muttered, but bast heard it loud and clear, and she bared her fangs.

"Don't try to fool me!" She growled. " That dammed bastard may have flirted and seduced your host, but myself, konshu, and zarathos knew that he was also after you. We all knew how much he envied anansi from having the Web of life to him being with you, and when he saw the chance to seduce you, he took it, and you gladly allowed yourself to succumb to him!!!!" She yelled, walking side to side. "But I suppose it's my fault. I should've been more persistent, I should've been more firm. I'm convincing him to leave you-"

"No!" The pheonix force yelled. "He would never leave me! He loves me!" She shouted.

"He loved you." Bast corrected, a grow escaping her. "But you did not love him. If you did, you wouldn't have done what you did." She then raised her right hand and materialised anansi's spider mask. "And now he's gone, forever." Bast said as she stared the mask in sadness.

"Anansi's mask?" Pheonix whispered before slowly approaching it, her hand reaching out. "Give it to me." She said.

"No." Bast answered, her hand tightening around the mask as she held it close to her. "I will never hand it over to you." She declared.

"The mask and the temple are all I have to remember him by! I will not let you take them away from me!!" The flaming cosmic bird yelled.

"And I will not let you take away his mask and the temple. A temple that I swore to him that I would protect." Bast calmly retorted. "You are unworthy of having them, and you're unworthy of him!!!" She yelled.

"I've had enough of you!!!" The pheonix force yelled as she became engulfed in flames. "Anansi's mask and temple were promised to me, bast, and I will have them!!! They're all I have left of him!!!" She bellowed.

"As far as I'm concerned...." Bast began as a purple aura surrounded her and grew. "You have NOTHING!!!" The panther goddess yelled as she spun around at the temple and slashed at it.

The temple is enveloped in bast's aura. The flames of the pheonix force that was a part of the temple trier to push it back, but bast's aura suffocated the flames, and soon extinguished them with bast's aura soon dissipating.

"W-what have you done?" Pheonix stuttered, unable to feel her presence from the temple and could only sense bast's, konshu's, zarathos' and infinity's.

"Removed your stench." Bast coldly answered before turning around. "Now I'm gonna tell you this politely...." She growled as she tensed. "Get the fuck out of my country."

Pheonix exploded in rage and rushed at bast who got ready for a fight before pheonix dodged to the right as a flaming chain smashed where she was previously standing at. Both panther and phoenix looked to their left to see zarathos and konshu off to the side.

"Leave pheonix." Konshu ordered before slamming his staff on the ground, the wind around them picking up. "Now." He added.

"Or we'll make you." The spirit of vengeance helpfully added, lazily spinning his chain.

Pheonix stared at the 2 before looking at bast, then looking at the temple before finally looking at anansi's mask.

"This is not over, bast." Pheonix said before finally leaving in a swirl of flames, leaving the 3 friends of anansi.

Another flash from the temple erupted, and the forms of bast, konshu, and zarathos were gone, and everything was back to normal.

Neither Spiderman nor anansi said anything.

They just stood by the temple in silence.

A/N: I underestimate how much I write and how much stuff I put into these Template chapters. I say I'm gonna do one more chapter on Template Earth but I end up doing another😂. I think I'm just gonna stop saying one more chapter on Template Earth and just see where i will lead this story. Will it be another chapter on Template Earth or will it be somewhere else? We'll just have to see.
