3rd POV: "He can't be serious!!!!" Peter yelled out as he continued to stare at the hologram, proclaiming himself and his sister as Co directors of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Maria Hill (616) actually agreed with Spiderman in that regard. What was director fury thinking when he created the protocol?! S.H.I.E.L.D.'s been doing just fine under her leadership, and having it under the leadership of Spiderman was just asking for disaster. He must've made a mistake. She refused to believe that fury would choose the spider menace over her.

Teresa Parker, on the other hand, was conflicted. Whilst being director of S.H.I.E.L.D was appealing, she knew the responsibilities of leading it were huge, and she was unsure of accepting the role. She knew that her brother would most likely refuse to be director and would mean that the organisation would be all hers. She didn't know if she could lead it.

On the other hand, becoming the director of S.H.I.E.L.D would mean that she could make changes that would actually make it better with the added advantage of taking Peter off of the stupid wanted list that Maria Hill created and immunity. Was it favouritism? Yes. Did she care? Hell no.

Decisions, decisions.....

Meanwhile, in the ultimate universe, Spiderman was staring off into space with his teammates, Avengers, agents of S.M.A.S.H, Storm, and psylocke at the wallcrawler and director fury.

"I didn't see that coming." Iron man spoke up.

"I don't think anyone did, Tony." Black widow said.

"Hey Parker, you good?" Powerman asked his teammate who didn't respond and was still staring off into space. "Pete?" He called again and still did not receive an answer.

"I got this." Hulk spoke up as he walked up to his fellow hero. Once he was close enough, he raised his hands to his sides. Captain america eyes widen as he realises what the green giant is going to do.

"Cover your ears!" The first avenger told everyone before taking his own advice, and everyone followed suit.

The hulk then smacked his hands together into his famous thunderclap, cracking some of the walls from the shockwave and causing the triskellion to shake a little. Spidey still remained seated and looked to still be in a daze, but he slowly looked up at an unapologetic hulk.

".......ouch." He finally let out as he rubbed his ears.

"Feeling better dear?" Aunt May asked.

"As good as I can be when finding out that my counterpart and his sister are DIRECTORS of S.H.I.E.L.D." He said, emphasising the director. Pete then looked to director fury, who was still staring at the screen. "Please don't make me director. I like to be free." The wallcrawler pleaded, much to many people's amusement.

Fury said nothing, only humming in thought. A new blood protocol? Intriguing.

"Wouldn't it technically be a good thing?" Sonya spoke up. "I mean, according to you, Storm and psylocke, S.H.I.E.L.D isn't exactly living up to what it should be, and with you at the helm, you could probably whip it into Shape." The S.F. further elaborated.

"But I don't want to be director." Spidey responded. "I don't know what the heck I would even do with S.H.I.E.L.D. I can't run an organisation." He further added.

"You ran a company, though." Betsy pointed out.

That perked everyone's interests, Spiderman had a company? Although saying it in past tense most likely meant it didn't last long.

"You know when you really think about it..." Flash (JLU) began, catching his fellow league members' attention. "Peter is kind of like you, bats." The speedster said to the billionaire of Gotham city, who only stared with a hidden eyebrow raised.

"I can kind of see it, actually." The man of steel (JLU) said before listing things off with his fingers. "Both lost family, both are dressed as animals, both dedicated to fighting crime because of the loss and both run, or in Peter's case, ran a company." He finished before looking at the bat themed hero. "All we need is to see if his villains are similar to yours, and we may have an almost exact replica of you." He ended.

"What are the chances that the cops hated him and shot first and questions later when spidey first started just like with batman?" Hawkgirl asked.

"Probably really high." Flash said, a chuckle escaping him but was silenced by the famous bat glare with the user of the glare not being pleased with being reminded about his first few months as a vigilante.

"That was barely standing when I became CEO. It only held for so long because of the people, who shall not be named for safety reasons, helping me keep it afloat." Peter answered back before muttering to himself. "Before otto brought it down." He added.

The Marvel omniverse perked up at the mention of Doctor Octopus. What exactly had he done to destroy Spiderman's company?

"Come now, Peter, don't sell yourself short. Your inventions were very insightful and life changing." Ororo said as she pecked Peter's masked cheek and gently squeezed his hand. "I believe that you could do something grand with S.H.I.E.L.D." The X woman added.

"As much as taking control of S.H.I.E.L.D sounds appealing. I'd still rather not be a part of it and just stick with the relationship I have with them to be a love/hate relationship. I'd have to speak to Teresa about this as well as it does affect her, too." The totem added as an afterthought.

"Speaking of this, Teresa...." psylocke began, looking at her lover. "You have a sister?" She asked curiously, getting a sigh from Peter.

"It's a long story, but the summery is that I was being hunted. She saved me and then revealed that she was my sister, and we were baisicly on the run." Spidey briefly explained before pausing as a thought came to him. "Now that I think about it, I feel like most of the time when I and Teresa are working together, we are always on the run from something." He thought aloud before shaking his head. "Doesn't matter. I'll speak to Teresa when I get back to my universe." He finished.

"I will give S.H.I.E.L.D this though, the hellicarrier is one impressive piece of technology." Sonya Blade spoke before looking to Spiderman. "Think one of the directors of S.H.I.E.L.D. could be generous to donate one to Special Forces in the interest of depending Earthrealm?" She asked.

"No/all yours." Maria Hill and Teresa Parker gave their answers, even though they can't physically speak to the blonde woman.

"I'm sure they would be more than happy to donate one to the S.F." Peter replied with a smirk.

"Well...." kaine cut in after he and Ben were silent and letting the 3 women and one Spiderman converse. "We found the ladies, so what do we do now?" He asked his brother since he was essentially the unofficial leader in this ragtag group of misfits.

"Well -" Peter began before pausing as his spidey sense activated, causing him to tense with kaine and Ben's spidey sense activating a second after.

"What's wrong?" Psylocke asked. Feeling the tense form of the spider totem and sensing it through the mental link that she shared with him, Storm and Sonya, and looked around cautiously, an action imitated by the other 2 women.

"I just felt a familiar feeling." Spidey answered, concentrating on the feeling he got from his spidey sense. "Something I haven't felt since I was anansi." He added, catching everyone's attention.

At the mention of anansi, those who were familiar with the spider god paid close attention. What could be cause of Peter and, by extension, his brothers spidey sense to go off.

Bast (616), konshu (616), zarathos (616), pheonix (616), infinity, and hyppolita (JLU) had a good idea as to what the cause was with both konshu and zarathos looking at the panther goddess who continued to stare at the screen.

"Is it what I think it is?" The god of the moon asked the panther goddess.

"Yes." The panther goddess confirmed. "It seems anansi's temple has sensed its creator and triggered his spider sense to tell him of its location." She added.

"Is it the one that you took and hid from pheonix?" The spirit of vengeance asked, getting a nod from bast.

Meanwhile, with pheonix (616), the fire bird was excited and furious. She was excited because she always enjoyed seeing her anansi and couldn't wait to embrace him when he returned, but she was also excited because she could finally find out where that dammed pussy cat hid anansi's temple. The reminder of bast taking away the spider God's temple from her and what followed soon after made an old raging inferno of hatred for the panther goddess emerge before she calmed down unless she causes her host to go dark pheonix and cause chaos. The entity of rebirth just needed to be patient. She will get anansi back, she will get the temple back, and she will make bast pay. If konshu and zarathos tried to interfere, then they would fall with her.

Infinity, on the other hand, hummed. It was most likely anansi's temple reacting to his presence. She remembered the 1st temple he built and how anansi called upon her because he wanted his first temple to be a special one and decided to have herself, bast, konshu, zarathos and pheonix assist in its construction. She chuckled as a memory surfaced, making her remember when anansi said that he wanted his temple to be built by hand and not to use any godly power until it was built, and then they can enchant it, zarathos was vocal against it but a smack to the back of the head, courtesy of bast stopped him from whining any further. The entity then frowned as she then remembered what happened to the temple after anansi disappeared and the splitting up of anansi's friends, but she could now have some peace knowing that anansi is alive and that the 1st temple of anansi's temple was hidden away thanks to bast.

Hyppolita (JLU) also knew that it was anansi's temple, for he always got the same feeling when it came to his temple that was hidden in themyscira. She remembered when the spidergod was building his temple alone and away from the city of the amazons as he wished the temple to be closer to nature. She then remembered that she stumbled upon him building it and joined in constructing the temple and day by day, more amazons came to help build the temple and even some of the Greek gods such as athena, demeter, artemis, hestia, hephaestus, apollo and even hera came to assist with it's creation. She also remembered apphrodite "helping" by providing moral support and promising to give him a "reward." Once it was finished much to the spider God's amusement. When it was completed and enchanted with his power (and the greek gods using their own powers to hide it from prying eyes), a celebration was held for its creation, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Sadly, the celebration would be the last time hyppolita and the rest of the amazons and gods would see anansi as he had to leave and return to his universe but promised to return and visit them. When news of his death reached her the amazons ears courtesy of the Greek gods who liked anansi, everyone mourned for the death of the god and hyppolita would constantly go to his temple to feel his power coursing through it, it made her feel safe in the presence of the tower and if felt like he was still there. To know that he is still alive now, though, she's happy and hopes that anansi hasn't forgotten her and the amazons and hopes he visits them soon.

"What is it?" Ben asked his template. "And why did kaine and I react? Were not anansi?" He asked further.

"It's most likely because you guys were created from my DNA, so in a way, you are and are not anansi." Peter explained before looking at the second scarlet spider. "Although whilst kaine's circumstances could very well be similar, him being the host of the other could also play a role in his reaction." He hypothesised. "Doesn't matter. I need to check it out." He said, determined to follow the feeling that his spidey sense triggered.

"Need some backup?" Sonya Blade asked.

"No. I'd like to check it out myself." Peter declined before giving his reason.

"Could you open a portal back to Avengers tower? I think we've done enough exploring for now." Betsy asked, and Peter wordlessly done so. "Thank you, babe." The telepath said before moving his mask up and giving him a peck and sauntering away, followed by sonya Blade, who gave a nod, though her eyes held an unknown emotion before she followed the mutant.

"Be safe, beloved." Ororo said before also pecking Peter on the lips and going through the portal.

Peter then turned to his brothers, who stared back at him.

"We ain't kissing you." Both kaine and Ben said in unison, getting a snort from their template.

Everyone released a snort of their own or chuckled good naturedly.

Meanwhile, Steve Rodgers (MCU) had an odd case of deja vu at what the spider brothers said.

"Can I settle for a hug then?" Peter asked, spreading his arms out.

The clones said nothing but embraced their brother in a hug.

"Stay safe, brother." Kaine said with Ben, patting Peter's arm, and the 2 walked through the portal with it closing soon after.

The spider totem stared at the hologram, claiming himself and his sister being co leaders of S.H.I.E.L.D before opening a portal close to where he felt that odd feeling and walked through.

It was time to see what caused that familiar feeling.

A/N: and boom, another chapter done. Ok, the next chapter will be the last chapter in template earth, and then they're moving on. Where they're moving to next, I will not say, but yeah, I kind of want to get this small section out of the way and move on to the next bit. Hopefully, I won't extend it further.
