A/N: I apologise for any spelling mistakes I make.

3rd POV: shao Khan slams his hammer on the ground, creating green shockwaves of energy. Raiden jumps into the air, and Spiderman uses the cloak of levitation to get him off of the ground whilst his brothers and liu kang either dodged or rolled out of the way. Kaine and Ben web zipped towards shao Khan with the first clone throwing a right punch that Shap Khan caught and pushed the attacker away and then tanked a kick to his chest from the second scarlet spider and backhanding him away but kaine used the momentum to jump and perform a roundhouse kick that only caused the Khan to turn his head.

Shao Khan snapped his head back and was given webbing to the face, temporarily blinding the emperor and kneeing him in the chin, making shao Khan take a step back from the hit. Liu kang jumped over the 2 spider totems and did a bicycle kick to the Khan, shao Khan held hid ground as he was kicked repeatedly before having enough and a green pulse exploded from him, knocking the 3 warriors back. Raiden covers himself in electricity and flies to the emperor, shooting lightning from his hands that shao Khan also tanked as he walked towards the thunder god. Right when raiden was inches from Outworld's emperor, shao Khan swung his hammer, causing raiden to halt his approach by flight and instead flew close to the ground and slid under the swing.

Quickly standing up, raiden summoned his bo staff and held it over his head to halt shao khan's next strike with his hammer.

"The elder gods may have intervened, raiden..." shao khan growled out before the 2 broke away from their clash and exchanged blows, neither getting a hit on the other for the moment. "But you -" the emperor he swings the hammer to raiden's face, who tried to block it with his staff, but it broke and splintered, and the strike landed. "Will not -" He then grabs him by the throat and headbutted him before his hammer turns into a spear and stabs him in the chest. "Win this fight!!!" He then kicked him off of his spear before grabbing the thunder god by his leg and spun him before throwing him far.

Raiden flew helplessly before a portal opened up behind him, and he went through with the portal closing. Another portal opened up behind him, and shao Khan was only able to turn around to see it before he got a lightning coated fist across his jaw, courtesy of raiden. The emperor actually stumbled back from the hit before stopping himself and glaring at the calm thunder god.

"You are wrong, Shao Khan." Raiden retorted. "For it is you that will not win this fight." He declared.

Suddenly, multiple portals opened up, and a barrage of fireballs came out, impacting against the emperor's skin, not gravely injuring him but only making his skin look like it gave him a sunburn.

Shao kahn looked up at the floating Spiderman, who was waving his hands, weaving silent incantations. Before anything could happen, more portals opened up around him.

"Magic!" Kaine quickly said before punching shao Khan across the face and jumping into another portal.

"More magic!" Ben yelled, uppercutting shao Khan and avoiding being grabbed by the emperor and jumping into another portal.

"Magic with a kick!!" Kaine cried out as he appeared from another portal and kicked the back of the emperor's head, and used it as a stepping stone to get into another portal.

Doctor Strange (MCU) was suddenly reminded of how this exact scenario happened with his world's spiderman when he did the same trick with thanos on Titan.

Speaking of his worlds spiderman, he mentally wondered where the kid was hiding. After he (and most likely everyone else) got their memories back of who was Spiderman, he got together with the remaining Avengers, and they all agreed that they needed to find him. He let pepper, happy, Friday, Karen Sam and rhodey use their technology and point of contacts to find the kid whilst he and wong used their magic spells to try and locate him.

The problem was that they couldn't find him, almost as if he wasn't even in their universe anymore.

What the heck had Peter possibly got himself into for him to not possibly be in his universe?

"Magic with a -" Ben tried to kick shao Khan, but the emperor knew to watch his blind spot and quickly turned and grabbed Ben by the throat and slammed him into the ground.

"Insect!" Shao Khan spat out before throwing Ben into an approaching kaine, the 2 colliding into each other.

The emperor turned to face raiden and liu kang, the 2 standing next to each other. Shao Khan chuckled, putting his hammer on his shoulder.

"Come, test your might!!!" Shao Khan challenged.

Liu kang was the first to rush the emperor with raiden hot on his tail. The emperor conjured a green orb and through it at them but a portal opened up in front of it and took the orb away before another portal opened up and hit Shao Khan in the back, making him go to one knee.

(Omniverses)

"Opening portals and redirecting attacks is my thing." Magik (616) said out loud. "He stole my thing!!" She claimed, much to the laughter of many of her fellow mutants.

(Mortal kombat universe)

Liu kang ignited his right foot and put his left one on shao khan's knee and used it as a stepping stone and then kicked shao Khan in the chin, lifting him up in the air before throwing 2 fireballs at the emperor, shooting the Khan further up into the air. Raiden flew up to the emperor, and the clouds began to darken as thunder and Lightning rumbled. The thunder god grabbed the emperor, taking him into the clouds and commanded lightning to strike at the emperor, electrocution him before letting him go and with a yell, transformed into the mortal kombat dragon and bit Shao Khan and sent him down to the ground.

Raiden soon returned to his human form and prepared to kill shao Khan, but he was grabbed by throat and lifted up into the air. Liu kang threw fireballs at the emperor, but shao Khan scoffed and used raiden as a human shield before causally tossing him aside. The shaolin growled before performing a flying fire kick that the emperor of Outworld caught and smashed liu kang into the ground and slammed his foot into the chosen one's face, cracking the ground. Summoning his hammer to his hands, he raised it above his head, planning to squash Liu kang's head before a red glowing whip wrapped around the emperor and pulled him away from the shaolin.

Shao Khan looked up to see the slow descending form of Spiderman.

"How about you fight me now?" Spiderman asked, his Cape blowing gently in the wind.

"Ha!" Shao Khan laughed. "You think just because you have the ability to wield magic that you are on equal footing to me?" The emperor asked. "I am shao Khan boy!!!!" He bellowed. "And you -"

"Lack the necessary virtue to give a fuck." Spidey deadpanned, physically and mentally done with shao Khan sporting nonsense.

Dante let out a chuckle at that, the tone it was said, getting to him a little. He caught Trish looking at him with an eyebrow raised.

"It was funny to me." Dante shrugged.

(Mortal kombat universe)

"You will kneel before me, this I swear." Shao khan promised.

"No..." Spiderman said, raising his arms up as he conjured his magic.

"I won't." He retorted.

Shao Khan lunged at Spiderman, who dodged at the last second and created another whip and wrapped it around the emperor's hammer and wrestled it out of his hands and tossed it aside.

The emperor growled before throwing 3 magic orbs at Spiderman, who sighed in annoyance before he conjured 2 orbs of his own and through them at the first 2.

The 2 orbs exploded, and the 3rd orb sailed closer to Spiderman, and he used his magic to create the shield of seraphim. When the orb impacted against it, it exploded into green butterflies that flew away, leaving the shao Khan dumbfounded.

"What?!" Shao Khan yelled. "My magic should be superior to everything in the realms!!" He yelled.

"Then it's a good thing mine isn't from any of the realms." Spidey calmly retorted, angering shao Khan.

"It dies not matter. I will still kill you!!!" The emperor cried out. "My power will overcome yours!!!" The Khan growled.

"That's what you think...." Spiderman began before levitating in the air as he lifted his hands, and soon multiple arms seemed to petrude from his back.

Magic users outside of the Marvel omniverse were curious at the type of magic used. Many believed they could imatate the attacks used with enough training.

Meanwhile, in the Marvel omniverse, many knew what familiar move spiderman used.

The images of Ikonn.

Once Spiderman's arms were crossed, he broke them apart, and soon, many copies of Spiderman surrounded shao khan.

"You can not defeat me, shao Khan, for I am Spiderman, wielder of the mystic arts and former sorcerer supreme!!!" Spiderman and his copies bellowed out as one voice.

'Former?' Everyone questioned, wondering what the story behind that was.

(Mortal kombat universe)

Spiderman and his copies then used chains of krakkhan to bind shao khan where he stood. Spiderman then created a portal under the emperor and used the bolts of balthakk to come out of the portal, electrifying shao Khan. Spidey soon followed up with the winds of watoomb, his copies imitating him and making shao Khan fly helplessly in the air before they smashed him across the ground and continued to use the wind to make him skid across it with his face.

Shao Khan slowly stood up, only to be punched in the face by a spiderman, then kicked in the back of the head by another, and then more attacked him. The emperor tried to fight back, but he was slowly being overwhelmed and was soon dogpiled. With a yell, shao Khan released a green pulse of energy, knocking all the copies away from him with said copies fading away.

Spiderman was unperturbed by his copies disappearing and approached shao Khan.

"You know..." The spider totem began. "I said I wouldn't kneel to you..." He then conjured hand signs, magic surrounding his hands. "But why don't you kneel for me?" He asked.

Shao Khan slowly stood up, blood coming out of his mouth.

"Never." Shao khan growled out, receiving a hum in response.

With a wave of his hands, Spiderman conjured the crimson bands of cyttorak, binding shao Khan once more. He tried to fight the binds and even used his own magic to try and break them, but it was no use. Once Spiderman was close enough, he raised both of his hands up at the emperor.

"Flames of faltine!!!" He yelled as scorching heat shot out of his hand and enveloped shao Khan.

Once the flames died down, shao Khan lay on the ground, his flesh burnt and crispy, his armour partially destroyed and cracked. The emperor, with great difficulty, slowly stood up as raiden, liu kang, Ben and kaine stood behind Spiderman.

Spidey and raiden began to glow as the golden dragons surrounded them. Shao Khan stared at the glowing duo, defiant and used whatever magic he had left to bring his hammer back to his hands and, with a yell, charged at the thunder god and spider sorcerer but would not get far as both of them unleash a golden energy beam at shao Khan, the dragons also attacking.

The emperor could do nothing as the dragons bit into his flesh and poisoned him with their power. Soon, his body began to crack and crumble before he yelled in the air, and was then shot up into the air with the dragons and exploded in a golden light and eliminating the threat of shao Khan once and for all.

Leaving only his helmet in his place.

Everyone said nothing, don't get them wrong, they were glad shao Khan was gone for good, but there had been many lives lost in the invasion. There was to be a lot of rebuilding, and the people needed to mourn their dead.

At least it was over.

(Mortal kombat universe)

Sunlight began to break through the clouds, shining down on the kombatants that had beaten shao Khan. The quartet took in the sunlight, not saying a word though spidermans attention was caught by a golden figure standing in front of him, he couldn't make out any details but they looked familiar, he couldn't exactly place it. The figure stretched their hand and gently caressed his cheek.

"Anansi..." The figure whispered. Spiderman slightly turned his head to see if anyone could see them, but it looked like they only were showing themselves to him. "I'm glad that you are alive..." The figure soon ascended into the sky, slowly fading away. "I hope to see you again soon." And with that, the figure disappeared.

Looking around the city, Spiderman noticed the lack of outworld armies around.

'The elder gods must've sent them back.' Spiderman thought. 'Hope sheeva is ok.' He couldn't help but think.

"It is over." Raiden said, and Spiderman turned to see raiden holding his amulet in his hand, now resorted to its former form.

Footsteps could be heard, and all four of them turned to see the approaching forms of psylocke, Storm, Sonya Blade, kitana, mileena, Jade, skarlet, Tanya, johny cage, kung Lao and an awakened sindel.

"Is it over?" Kung Lao asked. "Is it finally over?"

"Yes kung Lao." Liu kang spoke. "It is done but only at the gravest of costs." He declared.

Psylocke and Storm approached Spiderman and embraced him, one that Spiderman readily returned, holding them tightly. Storm then pulled back slightly to take in Spiderman's form.

"New suit?" Ororo asked.

"It's a long and complicated story." Spiderman said, not wanting to get into specifics at the moment.

"He's a wizard, ladies." Kaine said, causing the 2 mutants to look at him in confusion.

"He's a what?" Betsy asked.

"A wizard." Kaine repeated, earning a slap at the back of his head.

"Please stop." Ben begged.

"No." Kaine replied.

Spiderman chuckled a little before looking at shao khan's helmet and levitated it towards his hands as he stared at it with everyone moving towards Spiderman to stare at the helmet.

"So many are gone. Their light sunk into the earth." Raiden whispered. "I am responsible for their loss." He said, greif clearly heard in his voice.

"You did what you thought was right, raiden." Spiderman said, his eyes never leaving the helmet. "For earthrealm...." He then turned to look at the god of thunder. "Losses in war it's.....inevitable." Spidey said. "Trust me, I'd know." He muttered out, his eyes glazing over for a moment.

"What now?" Johnny cage asked.

"Now?" Spiderman asked. "Now, we take care of the fallen and help fix earthrealm." He said before turning to the outworlders. "I know you ladies most likely want to head back home, but i hope you don't mind staying in earthrealm a bit longer, just until we at least bring back some form of normalcy." Spidey said.

"It is fine, Peter." Kitana said, caressing the totems cheek and ignoring the narrowed eyes of the women around her.

"Thank you." Spiderman said.

"Let us go." Raiden said, raising his arm up.

Everyone grouped up to raiden as lightning surrounded them with Spiderman holding onto shao khan's helmet.

And with that, the group teleported away.

The invasion was over.....

Now, it was time to rebuild.

A/N: FINALLY!!!! I'm done with MK arc!!! Well, I'm done with the MK9 storyline. The next chapter would be a sort of aftermath chapter in the MK universe, and then we'll move on from there. Good lord, this was insane but I did it!!!!
