3rd POV: Spidey stared at the fallen bodies of his allies, silent horror coming across him. A blue cyber ninja (he would later find out it was a cyberized sub zero by raiden) was spasming on the ground every few seconds, static electricity sparking out of him, Smoke was next to the cyber ninja, his neck snapped and the head facing the opposite direction, Jax, the member of special forces, was also dead and from what Spiderman could see, it looked like something sharp had peirced his throat and the soldier was left to choke on his own blood, a police officer (Pete would find out that his name was striker) had his face caved in and the spider mentally offered a prayer to the officer for fighting and falling in the line of duty, the next person he saw was a burnt man up man wearing a rebreather that covered his entire face, his chest was also caved in, you could practically see a crushed ribcage and heart.

Everyone viewing let out gasps of horror, held a hand to their mouths to muffle a scream or bow their heads, giving silent prayers to the fallen kombatants.

Spiderman soon spotted the other downed forms of johny Cage, sonya Blade, kung Lao, nightwolf, skarlet, Jade, kitana, Storm, and psylocke.

As well as, much to his surpise, the unconscious forms of mileena and Tanya.

'What the heck are they doing here? We're they with or against?' Spiderman mentally wondered.

Many wondered the same thing, but they also remembered what Spiderman mentioned to mileena when they fought in Outworld. More specifically, the possibility that mileena might not be the only clone that was created and they soon began to speculate that if mileena and tanya have joined the others in defending earthrealm, then it's most likely that the 2 edenians had found out about that particular subject.

Spiderman couldn't tell from afar if they were dead or alive, and he silently begged that his allies were the latter rather than the former.

"Damn." Kaine quietly said from Spiderman's left, taking in the same sight that his template was seeing.

"What could have done this?" Ben questioned. "No way the cyber ninjas could have taken them out." The first scarlet spider added, noticing the downed bodies of the many silver cyber ninjas.

Suddenly, the 3 spider totems tensed as their spider senses went off loudly in their heads.

"I think we're about to find out." Spiderman said. "Move!" He yelled out, and they all simultaneously jumped and avoided a purple blast that impacted where they originally stood. Ben and kaine landed on the side of a wall whilst Spiderman rolled along the ground before standing on the ground.

The next thing the spider trio saw was what appeared to be hair extending from the shadows and wrapping around the unconscious clone of kitana's throat, lift her up, and drag her to the person who owned said hair, a woman wearing a somewhat similar outfit to the other edenians minus the mask and coloured in purple, an evil smirk was plastered on the woman's face as she casually strode towards Spiderman, holding mileena in the air with her hair as if she weighed nothing.

"So, you are the one that has caught my daughters eyes." The woman said, eyeing Spiderman like a piece of meat, making the wallcrawler internally shiver at the way her eyes lit up. "A fine specimen indeed~~" she added.

"Thank you.....I think." Spiderman uneasily said. "Who are you exactly?" He questioned.

"I am Sindel, the empress of Outworld, the wife of the almighty shao Khan and the mother of kitana and mileena." The now named sindel said. "Well..." She added, shaking the body of mileena and looking at the downed kitana. "Soon I won't be. I plan to.....give them away and get some new ones, I'm sure my dear emperor can oblige." The empress of outoworld said.

"You would get rid of your daughters? Your family?!" Spiderman bellowed out. "What's wrong with you?!" He shouted.

"You wouldn't understand earthrealmer." Sindel replied, unbothered by Spiderman's yelling. "They betrayed their father, and for that, I fought them a lesson, but they still seemed to behave like spoiled brats." Sindel explained, her eyes narrowing as her hair began to tighten around the unconscious edenian clone. "And I will not tolerate it!" She angrily bit out.

"And we won't let you kill her." Spiderman declared, his 2 brothers jumping from the wall and standing on either side of him. "Or anyone else." He added, but sindel merely laughed at them.

"I know how formidable you are, Spiderman." Sindel began. "But, I didn't come alone." She added before snapping her fingers.

Suddenly, a familiar female vampire smashed through one of the windows and flew above the empress of Outworld whilst a portal opened to sindel's right and out comes out......another mileena?

"Another clone?" The spider trio asked.

"Well, guess there really was another clone of mileena." Flash (JLU).

"And she looks more dangerous than the previous one." Green lantern (JLU) added.

"What are the chances of them beating the empress, though?" Superman (JLU) asked.

"Her skill set is unknown to us, and the only thing we do know is that her hair can stretch to impressive lengths. Until we know more about her, there's no way we can give her an accurate threat level." Batman (JLU) said.

Meanwhile, on the island of thymiscera, Hyppolita (JLU) clenched her teeth in anger at how casual sindel was in disposing of her daughters as if they were nothing. Hyppolita cared greatly for Diana and could never think of killing her. Heck, banishing her from ever coming back to the island was the hardest thing she had ever done, so there was no way she could go through with murdering her own flesh and blood.

She hoped anansi beat her into the ground.

(Mortal kombat universe)

"Looks like kitana and Mileena have got their very own clone saga happening." Kaine muttered, causing his 2 brothers to look at him for a moment before turning back to face the enemy.

"Nitara, Reyna...." sindel called out to the vampiress and copy of mileena. "Finish them." The empress ordered, and the 2 rushed to face their opponents.

"Oh god, the bitch is gonna suck me dry!!!!!" Kaine cried out before he's tackled by nitara, the 2 engaging in mortal kombat, leaving his 2 brother confused by what kaine said.

"Wha-" Ben was about to ask, momentarily confused before he turned and saw the copy of mileena, named Reyna, lunging at him. The former scarlet spider ducked out of the way and fought her, leaving Spiderman to face off against the empress.

Spiderman goes to rush sindel, but she commands her hair to bring mileena in front of her.

"Careful Spiderman, come any closer and...." Sindel warned before her hair tightened even further around mileena's neck. "My poor daughter loses her life." She finished, a sadistic smile on her face.

Spiderman growled, calling upon the power of the Web and using it to enhance his speed and reflexes. The nephew of May Parker dashed towards sindel, zigzagging and jumping from wall to wall, causing the empress to momentarily lose sight of him. This gives Peter the chance to release his right stinger and cut the portion of sindel's hair that's holding mileena. Once Mileena is free, Spiderman grabs her and leaps away, landing next to kitana. The male Parker then gently placed her next to her sister just as her eyes fluttered open.

"Spiderman..." Mileena choked out.

"Save your strength." Spiderman advised, holding one of her hands in his.

"You were right." Mileena whispered out. "About everything....." She added before her eyes closed, and she fell unconscious once more.

Spiderman didn't have time to ponder what she meant as his attention returned to Sindel. Spiderman placed mileena's hand down and stood up and turned to fully face her.

"You will be joining your friends in the netherealm soon, my dear spiderman." Sindel threatened.

"Lady, you got a black belt in stupid if you think you're gonna beat me." Spiderman shot back, getting into his own fighting stance.

Sindel clearly didn't like what the wallcrawler said, and it showed on her face and in her next action. The empress hair extended once more, moving like a wild tendril as sindel spun her head before whipping it down with her hair coming down on the spider totem like a whip. Spiderman narrowly ducked to the side and jumped on a nearby pillar, but sindel kept up the attack, hoping to damage or have him in her grasp.

Spiderman kept away from her hair, dodging out of the way or jumping to different surfaces before web zipping towards the empress whose hair retracts to its regular length as the 2 engaged each other head on. Spiderman threw a punch, but the edenian catches the fist and throws her own at the totem, but Spiderman grabs hers, and the 2 attempt to overpower the other in the armlock their in. Spiderman gets a hand free and shoots webbing in sindel's face, blinding her before roundhouse kicking her then followed up by holding her in place and hitting her in the stomach 3 times before following worh am uppercut that knocked her off her feet and the wallcrawler then followed up by firing 2 more webs from both of his hands and slammed her into the ground.

Sindel wasted no time and stood up, blocking an incoming kick from the spider totem and then leaning back to avoid a punch and intercepting another kick with her own before counterattacking by kicking Peter in his stomach then used her hair to wrap it around his head and pulled spiderman towards her, allowing the empress to punch him away before pulling him back and performing an axe kick on the totems head, making him slam his head in the ground and then stomped on his head, digging her heel into his head.

Spiderman groaned before slowly pushing himself off of the ground with sindel, putting more pressure to try and keep the totem down. The wallcrawler managed to push her foot off of his head before backhanding her in the face, making the empress stagger from the impact, allowing Spiderman to land a barrage of punches on her chest in quick succession before sidestepping and kicking the back of sindel's knee, making her kneel before pulling the empress' hair to make her look up at Spiderman as he reared his fist back and landed a powerful punch square in her face, then followed by 3 more but on the fourth, sindel caught it with her hand and hit spiderman in the stomach, giving her the opportunity to stand up and jump on spiderman, wrapping her legs around his head and pulling herself back, bringing the wallcrawler with her, managing to get enough momentum to not land on her back and instead smash spiderman on the ground. Sindel then took the opportunity to use her hair to wrap Spiderman's hands together and had them over his head. Spiderman called upon the power of the Web, planning to use it to blow sindel away. The aura enveloped him, and sindel smirked, her hands glowing purple.

'Perfect.' The empress thought, before quickly placing her hands on each side of the wallcrawler's head and then used sorcery to drain spiderman of his life force and the power of the Web, causing spiderman to grunt in pain, holding in the screams of pain from being drained.

Everyone began to worry. They saw how much pain Spiderman was when shang tsung attempted to take spidermans soul, and to see sindel doing something similar was very worrying.

(Mortal kombat universe)

'I can't....let her....win!!' Spiderman mentally thought, straining to stay awake and to delay or halt the process to give him enough time to find a way to break out. He quickly thought of calling upon more power of the web, but he didn't want to risk possibly calling upon more than he could handle and run the risk of sindel taking it.

Sindel laughed. The power she was getting from Spiderman was euphoric and very appetising. She could feel herself getting stronger than ever thought possible, and she wanted - no, NEEDED more!!! She decided that she won't kill the totem. Oh no, she was going to keep him, preferably in a cage where he would be chained to the wall, unable to move, and be the perfect power battery to her. The thought made sindel smile rise further in glee.

But whilst the empress was indulging herself in gaining a power up, she was not prepared for a third participant.

Sindel gasped as 2 hands suddenly grabbed the sides of her head, and her mind was suddenly assaulted with a sharp pain trying to pierce through her defences. The empress strained to turn her head and saw the determined eyes of one betsy Braddock. The momentary distraction, allowed Spiderman to unleash his stingers and cut his hands free from her hair and then grabbed psylocke's hand and transferred a very small portion of the web's power to betsy, giving the telepath a power up.

This gave psylocke, the energy to increase her mental attack, testing the mental defences of the empress, and after a few seconds, that felt like hours, betsy found a flaw in sindel's defence and unleashed her power.

The result was not what she expected.

The golden aura of the Web surrounded both sindel and Spiderman and soon exploded in a pulse, knocking psylcoke away. The centre of the Web and the empress levitated in the air as the web's power enveloped the 2 once more, creating a sphere of energy. Spiderman tried his hardest to contain and control the energy from spewing out of him whilst sindel was screaming in pain as she seemed to be dealing with an overload in power, almost as if she couldn't turn off her absorption spell and was trying to keep something in than out.

And she clearly failed in that regard.

For a glowing purple arm shot out off sindel, followed by another and soon a head and the top half of a body came with them. Spiderman, whilst trying to concentrate on keeping his power under control, gasped as he saw that the glowing purple figure appeared to be a ghostly Sindel.

'What?!?!?' Spiderman questioned, utterly baffled.

"Help me!!!" The ghost sindel yelled, grunting as she tried to exit the body, but the evil sindel (peter decided that would be the best way to describe her) was doing everything she could to pull the ghost sindel back in.

Without thinking, Spiderman grabbed both of the ghost sindel's hands and pulled with all of his might. The evil sindel tried to fight the totem off and reclaim the ghost sindel, but eventually, with roar, Spiderman successfully pulled the ghost sindel away from her evil counterpart, causing the sphere to explode and knock the 3 occupants away. Spiderman held onto ghost sindel, the 2 rolling across the ground whilst evil sindel limply fell.

Ghost sindel soon had a gold aura around her, the remnants of the energy of the web lingering in the air being absorbed into her form. The ghostly form of sindel glowed brightly, blinding spiderman who shielded his eyes. Once the glow faded, Spiderman was rewarded with the sight of a living and breathing sindel who was unconscious but very much alive and well after he checked for a pulse.

The spider totem heard a growl and looked back at the evil sindel who sat up and stared up in hate at him and the unconscious copy on top of him before standing up and aggressively approaching them.

"Oh boy." Spiderman muttered, preparing to get up and fight.

"Enough!!!" A voice yelled out, and both Spiderman and evil sindel turned to see a weakened but determined nightwolf standing. "I will not allow this to continue sindel. You will face the spirits' judgement!" He proclaimed.

"Oh, please." The evil empress scoffed, her hair extending before lashing out at the earthrealmer and wrapping around and bringing him close to her. She then wasted no time and started to absorb his soul.

Nightwolf let out shallow breaths, the life in his eyes fading away, but if he was going down, he wasn't going alone. With his remaining strength, nightwolf began chanting, his eyes glowing with electricity. His voice grew louder and louder as he continued his chant with evil sindel paying no heed to it, believing she could kill the earthrealmer before he could pull it off.

But Spiderman's spider sense said otherwise.

"Nightwolf noooo!!!!" The totem yelled, moving the former ghost of sindel off of him and lunging towards his fellow kombatant, hoping to stop whatever he was doing, but he was too late.

With a roar, nightwolf was Coates in pure electricity and exploded in a big bang, taking both him and the evil sindel with him. The blast knocked Spiderman into a nearby pillar, breaking through it. The wallcrawler tumbled before righting himself up and skidding to a stop. Looking up, the only thing that remained was a scorched mark on the floor of where nightwolf once stood.

Hearing footsteps, spidey looked to the side and saw the approaching forms of both of his brothers, a quick survey around the surrounding area hinted to no sign of the copy mileena and nitara, making spiderman assume that they fled either when they loss to his brothers or when evil sindel was killed.

The rumbling of thunder was heard, and soon, lightning struck the ground nearby, revealing the god of thunder of earthrealm and the chosen one of the shaolin with both of them gaping at the scene before them.

"By the elder gods..." raiden muttered in silent shock.

Spiderman narrowed his eyes and aggressively approached the god of thunder, his 2 clones following behind him. Once he was close enough, Spiderman spoke, his voice tired and angry at the recent events and the unnecessary loss of life.

"Where the hell were you?" Spiderman growled out.

He needed an answer.

And he needed it now.
