A/N: I apologise for any spelling mistakes I make.

3rd POV: Chasm and Spiderman maintained eye contact, their fists clenched, both wanting to win this fight for one reason or another and waiting for the other to make a move.

Chasm was the one to make that first move, running towards his template with Spiderman following one second sooner. The 2 jumped into the air, and their fists pulled back before throwing a punch at each other. The 2 dodged their punches and simultaneously landed in a roll. Spiderman's spidey sense tingled, and he quickly turned around to see chasm throw a kick at his head, but spidey narrowly moved out of the way and then ducked another overhead swing from his clone. Spiderman fired 2 webs past chasm, attaching to poles and pulling back on them before catapulting himself into chasm and tackling him off of the roof and through the window of another office building.

The 2 rolled over each other before Chasm grabbed Spiderman and threw him off with said spider, righting himself midair and sticking to the wall he would've smacked against. Chasm grabbed a nearby table and tossed it spidey who dropped to the ground and slid under it before throwing a punch into chasm's stomach, the impact taking the former scarlet spider off his feet which was then followed by a round house kick.

Chasm crashed through multiple desks before eventually stopping. A grunt escapes his lips before blocking a punch from his template, grabbing the offending arm and pulling him in for a headbutt. Spiderman is momentarily stunned, but it gives chasm enough time to stand and send a flying knee into Peter's masked face. The clone followed up by throwing 2 punches with his right fist before hitting his template in the stomach with his left, followed by a sparta kick, knocking Spiderman into a window, slightly cracking it. Before the fight could escalate, both of their spidey senses tingled, and they both looked out the window to see a giant dragon firing a massive fireball at the building they were in.

'Oh crap/shit.' Both Spiderman and chasm thought before the 2 of them broke through different windows and swung away just as the fireball impacted the building, destroying half of it.

As spidey was swinging away, he glanced behind him and spotted chasm hot on his tail. Landing on the roof of another building, the hero from Queens looked up just in time to see his brother land opposite of him. The 2 rushed each other in another clash of rapid attacks.

Aunt may (616) gaze stayed intently on the screen, watching her 2 nephews fight eachother was nerve racking for she knew that there was a possibility for Spiderman to succeed and hopefully bring Ben back to his senses but there was also the possibility that Ben would win and kill Peter. She also remembered the previous fight that the 2 had in the tournament, how Peter lost himself and was intent on killing his brother. She could only help that it wouldn't be the case in this one and that things would end without either spilling the others' blood.

The 2 spider totems broke away from the clash, each catching their own breath.

"You look tired, Peter." Chasm said, shaking his right fist a little.

"Not tired..." Peter panted, rolling his shoulders a little. "Just hurt." He said before clenching his fists, his stingers piercing through his skin.

"Oh, you're bringing them out, huh?" Chasm asked, eyeing the stingers. "You see, here's the thing, Pete." He began. "You and kaine aren't the only ones who can do that." Chasm also clenched his fists, and 2 stingers also popped out of his wrists. "I can do it, too." He said.

"Nice." Peter said, bringing one foot back and digging it in. "Let's see if you can actually use them!" He yelled before pushing off his back foot and lunging at chasm.

The 2 continued their battle, hacking and slashing at each other, ignoring the pain they were receiving. Spiderman leaned back from a swipe before jumping and throwing a roundhouse kick that was blocked by chasm, who responded by slicing Spiderman across his chest with his right chest followed by a shoulder bash. Spidey slid back before countering another stinger attack from chasm that was aimed at his left eye before grabbing the offending arm and throwing his brother over his shoulder. Still holding onto the arm, Spiderman then spun chasm around before tossing him off of the roof, but the clone of Peter Parker shot a web at Spiderman and pulled him off of the roof with him.

The totems fell to the streets, both righting themselves and landed on their feet, cracking the ground on impact. Spiderman rushed chasm and swung his right stinger, but chasm dodged it and grabbed the arm, and wrapped himself around his template before throwing him onto the ground. Chasm attempts to stab Spiderman, who kicked his feet up in the air and got off of the ground, avoiding being stabbed in the process and the 2 continued battling.

Spidey then uppercutted chasm, sending crashing through a light pole and then cracking the wall of another building with spidey following after him by catapulting himself into his brother who dodged this time and stabbed spiderman in the back, before smashing his face into a wall, followed by throwing him onto the roof.

Spidey groaned in pain before slowly getting up, but chasm is on him and grabs his head, pulling it back and ready to use his stinger to slice his throat.

Everyone tensed, hoping that Spiderman could break free from Chasm's grasp.

(Mortal kombat universe)

Spiderman grabbed Chasm's arm, struggling to keep it away from his neck. Thinking quickly, Spiderman has his mask retract and sinks his teeth into the offending arm. The clone growled, trying to force his template off of his arm, but Spiderman refused to let go.

Spidey then elbowed chasm in the stomach, letting go of his arm in the process and then spun around and then charged into him and stabbed his stingers into his chest with chasm responding in kind by repeatedly stabbing Spiderman in his back. Eventually, chasm grabbed Spiderman and lifted him up before smashing him into the ground before kicking him away. Spidey got up and rushed chasm, and the 2 totems traded blows, but chasm was slowly getting the upper hand.

Spiderman groaned, slowly getting to his feet, his face bloody and bruised.

"You know something..."Chasm started, taking slow breaths. " I should've realised this a long time ago about you. The night uncle Ben died, the night aunt may was shot, the day I died, the day kaine died, the days your children died. Blood is worthless to you. Just like they were to you, just like I AM to you." Chasm accused.

"That's not true, Ben!" Spidermam shouted.

"Oh really?" The clone questioned. " Then when were you when they needed you the most? When I NEEDED you?!" Chasm shouted. "I think it's time for you to finally realise what blood REALLY means!!" Chasm shouted before lunging at Spiderman and punching him across his cheek, making spiderman stagger back and collapse to one knee.

"PETER!!" Aunt May (616) shouted.

"Brother!!!" Teresa yelled.

"Uncle Peter, no!!" The children of Susan Storm cried out.

'NO!!' Romy mentally cried out.

"Enough of this!" Wonder Woman (JLU) yelled.

"Stop fighting!" Superman (JLU) cried out.

"Don't do this, Ben!" Flash (JLU) yelled.

"Come on, Pete, get up!" Chun Li begged.

"Come on, Parker, if I can beat my brother, you can beat the hell out of yours!" Dante encouraged.

"Don't give up best, buddy!" Felicia (darkstalkers) yelled.

"Anansi." Bast whispered, her hands clenching at her clothes.

"Do not surrender, old friend." Konshu said, staring intently at the screen.

"Come on, man, fight back!" Zarathos yelled out.

(Mortal kombat universe)

"So tell me..." Chasm began, walking up to his template. "What do you have to say for yourself..." He continued, the clone now in front of Spiderman. "Brother?" He asked, mockingly calling Spiderman 'brother'.

Spiderman stated up at Chasm, his mind conjuring the image of Ben Reilly in his scarlet spider attire staring down at him before changing back to chasm. It was at this point that Spiderman realised something. All his talk about wanting to help his brother, to bring his memories back, was practically all talk. Instead of helping, he's been fighting him ever since Ben showed up in the mortal kombat universe, and perhaps it was time he stopped doing that and tell Ben something that he hadn't heard in a long time. Spidey slowly stood up on his 2 legs, sheathed his stingers, and stared into the masked eyes of chasm.

"I love you." Spiderman said. Chasm froze, his masked lenses widening, even taking a step back.

"What?" Chasm whispered, unable or not wanting to believe what Peter said. He's hated his template for so long that it's practically all he's felt for Spiderman. The torture and the many deaths that he suffered at the hands of the jackal, being manipulated by the beyond corporation and losing his memories only added to that anger. To hear Peter say that he loved him, it's like some kind of switch was flipped. Something awoke within him, something small, a spark, and it was fighting away at the darkness in the former scarlet spider, kicking, screaming, doing everything it could, but it was also being slowly squashed. "No..." Chasm whispered, his hands clenched, his voice rough. "No, you don't get to say that!!!" Chasm yelled out, throwing a punch into Spidey's stomach before backhanding across the face, causing the wallcrawler to spit out some blood and fall to the floor.

"Good god, stop this!!!" Nightwing (YJ) yelled.

"Enough is enough, Ben!" Aqualad (YJ) shouted.

"Remember who you are, Ben!!" Spiderwoman (616) growled out.

"Dammit, Reilly, stop acting like an idiot and stop this now!" Spiderman 2099 (EOT) yelled.

"You'll regret it, Ben. Stop while you still can!" Ryu shouted, his eyes narrowed on the screen.

"You get your hands off of Peter this instant!" Morrigan growled.

(Mortal kombat universe)

"How fucking dare you say that!" Ben cried out, his hands tightly clenched, to the point that his nails peirced skin and blood slowly seeped out. He approached Spiderman, who got back on his feet.

"I love you!" Spiderman shouted. Chasm flinched, one of his eyes twitching behind his mask as he put a hand to his head, a memory popping up.

Chasm took a ragged breath, the small spark erupted into a flame, batting a way at the darkness, taking the shape of a person, fighting through the darkness, the corruption, the pain, the anger, fighting everything so that its voice could be heard.

"No! Stop saying that!!!" Chasm shouted, lunging at Spiderman and punching across the face before landing on top of his template, throwing punch after punch at the wallcrawler who did not fight back against his clone.

"No!!" Julia carpenter (616) shouted.

"Ben don't!!" Black canary (YJ) cried out.

"Get up Parker!!" Mike hagger yelled.

(Mortal kombat universe)

Chasm then wrapped his hands around Spiderman's throat, chocking him.

"I'm gonna fucking kill you!!!" Chasm yelled, his breathing becoming ragged, applying more and more pressure.

Spiderman, through chocked gasps, stared at his clone, his brother, and slowly puts his right hand onto chasms shoulder and gives a comforting squeeze.

"I....love you.....brother." Spiderman chocked out. Chasm flinched. The small flame, erupting into a raging fire that shone bright and pushed the darkness once more, the shape becoming more clearer and very familiar.

"NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Chasm yelled, raising his fist, stinger ready to plunge into Spiderman and end his life.

Numerous people shouted, yelled, begged for chasm not to do it, to not kill spiderman, his brother, his family.

'DON'T YOU DARE KILL MY BROTHER!!!!' A voice cried out in chasm's head.

Chasm flinched, at war with himself, but evntually brought his stinger down.

(Omniverses)

Everyone tensed, breaths were held, eyes wide and glued to the screen, waiting to see if chasm had done it.

(Mortal kombat universe)

Chasm's ragged breathing could be heard, staring intently at the open eyes of Peter Parker. Chasm glanced where his stinger was and saw that it had impacted next to Parker's face.

(Omniverses)

Everyone let out a relieved sigh, glad that chasm somehow missed. Though many believed that something else was at play to cause chasm to miss his target.

(Mortal kombat universe)

Chasm also begun to notice a hand taking form that held his stinger arm which soon began to extend into an arm. Chasm followed the arm and watched as ghostly body stood over him and realised who it was that moved his arm from it's target.

Ben Reilly, the first scarlet spider.

Aunt may (616) gasped, looking at the ghostly form of her nephew who somehow stopped himself, just what exactly was going on?

The same could be said for the rest after seeing 2 version of Ben Reilly.

"Ben." Spiderman chocked out, with both chasm and scarlet spider looking down at him. Peter could sense another presence with both him and chasm, feeling very familiar and a little smile showed on his face, an idea just formed in hismind, it was a tricky one but it was perhaps the only way to bring his brother back. "You want your memories back right?" He asked, using the power of the Web and focusing it into his right hand. "Then let me help you." Peter continued. "Let me bring my brother back!!!!" He yelled as his hand shot up and latched onto the side of chasm's face and unleashed the power of the Web into Chasm who yelled from the sudden influx of power.

The Web of life glowed, catching madame web, spider UK and Spider Storm's attention.

"Julia, what's happening?!" Spider UK asked, never seeing the Web glow with such power.

"The Web..." madame web started, observing a certain thread. "It's splitting and remaking Ben's thread, it's trying to fully reconnect him back into the Web of life." Julia revealed.

"Can it do that?" Spider Storm questioned.

"The Web of life was created by anansi and responds to his will." Julia explained. "And since Peter is the reincarnation of anansi-" she began before someone else took over.

"It's responding to his will." Spider UK finished, a spark of realisation coming to him. "He's using the Web of life to unlock Ben's memories!" He exclaimed.

"Will it even work?" Spider Storm asked.

"Only one way to find out." Julia carpenter said.

(Mortal kombat universe)

Peter's eyes glowed and he soon found himself in a pitch black space. Looking around, Spiderman looked around, realising he was in Ben's head, he just needed to find his brother's memories.

"Pete?" A voice called out and Peter stilled before slowly turning and gasping to see Ben Reilly, the first scarlet spider. Observing him from a distance, Peter realised that the scarlet spider standing in front of him was all of Ben's memories taken shape. The memories that made Ben Reilly had been locked away, shrouded in darkness just waiting for a chance to break away and free themselves.

'Just like me.' Peter thought. 'Though he has a full soul and I'm just a body filled with the memories of a dead man that's being held together because of psylocke.' He mentally added before taking a cautious step forward. "Ben?" He called out.

Ben Reilly nodded the head before he too took a step forward which soon broke into a full sprint that Peter imitated, their hands reaching out to the other.

But there was one problem.

Before Ben could reach Peter, a hand punched through the darkness and grabbed onto Ben's ankle causing the clone to trip and fall. Peter stopped and tensed as a body rose and take the shape of chasm.

"No, I won't let you." Chasm growled. "He doesn't love us, he thinks we're just clone, that we're not real." Chasm began to descend back into the ground, dragging Ben with him who clawed the ground, struggling to break free. "He'll hate us Ben, the only way to break free is to kill him!" He yelled.

"Ben no!!!" Peter yelled lunging for scarlet spider and clasping his brother's hand with his own, and pulled. It was now a game of tug of war with Ben Reilly being the rope.

Peter held on with all of his might, attempting to pull Ben away from chasm and to break him free from this prison.

"Get off!!!" Scarlet Spider yelled punching chasm in the face repeatedly before another hand rose from the shadows and latched onto his hand. Both Ben and Peter gasped as the person that was holding Ben's arm was another chasm. Soon, more and more chasms took shape, grabbing onto scarlet spider and dragging him into the abyss.

Peter struggled, he was losing the battle, one man vs however many chasms. Nevertheless, he held on and tried to pull scarlet spider out but it was a losing battle and it was only a matter of time before Ben Reilly was swallowed by the abyss.

'Come on!' Peter yelled at himself. 'You couldn't save Ben before, but you have a chance to do it now!' He continued to yell, straining to keep a grip on Ben. 'But at this rate, I'll lose him again!!' Peter stared at scarlet who was staring back at him, his body almost fully submerged.

He needed help, and he needed it now.

"Someone!!!" Peter cried out. "Anyone!! Please, help me!!!" He yelled. Ben's head was submerged, his hand being the only thing visible. "HELP ME NOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!" He bellowed.

The Web of life sent a powerful pulse of energy across the Marvel omniverse, the cry of Spiderman 616 echoing with it, affecting every spider totem.

The cry for help was heard.

And it was not ignored.

It was answered.

Spiderman continue to pull with all of his might, Ben's hand was almost gone.

Just when everything seemed lost and the chasms thought they won.

A another hand reached and grabbed onto Ben's hand and pulled with Peter.

"WHAT?!" One of the chasm's yelled out and all the attention was on the newcomer who was helping spiderman. Ben's head appeared out of the abyss looking up as well and his masked lenses were wide.

"Kaine?!?!" Ben and peter cried out.

For it was Kaine Parker, the second scarlet spider.

"Surprise." Kaine grunted, a smirk behind his masked face. "And I'm not the only one here." He said.

Another hand joined the Parker siblings, followed by another, then another and soon many more followed and Peter looked around to see who had answered his call.

In the Ultimate universe, the same thing happened to Spiderman, Scarlet Spider and kid arachnid, all 3 having the same glow golden glow around them.

In the spectacular universe, Peter had his eyes closed, the same glow emitating off of him.

The people of the MCU were shocked to see their universes spiderman. Ever since they saw Peter Parker as spiderman, they're memories that were erased came back and spiderman mysteriously disappeared. The new avengers searched Peter's recently bought apartment to find out he wasn't there. Wherever he was, was anyones guess but it seemed that he didn't waste time to lend a helping hand.

And so many more.

Spidey could not believe how many spider totems answered his call.

'Everyone.' Spiderman thought, a smile on his face. 'Thank you.' Spiderman turned back to Ben Reilly before glaring at the many chasms. "PUUUUULLLLL!!!!" Spiderman yelled out.

And as one, every single spider totem pulled their hardest.

With one goal in mind...

Free Ben Reilly.

And it was slowly becoming successful. Bit by bit, Ben Reilly was slowly being lifted from the darkness, the chasm's losing their grip on the first scarlet spider.

"No!!!" The chasms yelled out trying to desperately to hold on to Ben.

As one voice, the spiderverse cried out.

"GIVE. HIM. BAAAAAAAACCCCKKK!!!!!" They bellowed and with one final pull....

Scarlet spider was free....

And the world exploded in a white flash.

(Omniverses)

The spider totems across the Marvel omniverses gasped and collapsed on their knees or fell back on their seats. The people near them checking to see if they were alright.

(Mortal kombat universe)

Spiderman and chasm gasped, with the clone getting off of Spiderman, stumbling on his feet before dropping to his knees.

Spiderman slowly sat up, weakened from the use of the Web of life's power and stared at the still form of chasm.

"Ben?" Peter called out, reaching an arm out to him before his spidey sense tingled. Before he could do anything, red chains held him down, keeping him in place.

"You should've payed attention to your surroundings spiderman." A voice called out and Peter turned to see the smirking form of Quan chi walking towards him, his hands clasped behind his back, he turns his head to the kneeling chasm. "I applaud you chasm, you've weakened spiderman greatly. Now we can remove him from permanently." The sorcerer from the netherealm said.

Quan Chi prepared a spell, ready to eliminate spiderman once and for all with the Web slinger trying to break free.

Chasm's finger twitched, followed by another, and then his hand clenched.

Just as quan chi was about to unleash his spell, a fist connects with his cheek, causing the netherealm sorcerer to stagger backwards. Quan Chi recovers and turns his head to see the standing form of chasm, his fist outstretched and standing in front of the downed spiderman.

"Chasm, what is the meaning of this?!" Quan Chi yelled.

"My name isn't chasm...." The clone of Peter Parker said. "My name......" he began, taking off his mask slowly, revealing his blonde hair, he then looks up, a fierce glare on his face, aimed directly at quan Chi. "IS BEN REILLY!!!" He yelled.

Ben Reilly, the first scarlet spider, was back.

And he was here to stay.
