3rd POV
A machine sat on a pedestal, it is black and orange, a piece that connects to a shoulder before having two flexible wire casings going to a cup that goes over the hand. It remained on a mannequin. A man sat in a chair as he looked at it, the light peering through the door as the sound of tapping outside of it was heard. The sound of the doorknob turning filled the room as the light slowly began to fill it.
In the door way an Espeon stood, freshly cleaned and letting off small sounds.

????: I'll be out in a bit. Go check on Rui.

The Espeon nodded before turning out of the door way, followed by an Altaria. The male leaned his head back in the chair as he covered his eyes and rubbing them. He then rubbed his hand down his face. He finally placed his arm back his side and pushed himself out of the chair and turned off the small light above the machine. He walked towards the doorway and closed it behind him. He removed his hand from the door and blinked, he took a deep breath in before turning around to see Espeon at his feet.

????: alright, what is it that you wanted?

Espeon then walked as Rui came around the corner with a wrapped gift. The orange haired female gave a soft smile, she wore a purple shirt with a denim jacket, a white short skirt and pink boots with black ankle socks.

Rui: hi Y/N, it looks like Espeon got you out of the room.
Y/N: how are you doing today?
Rui: I'm fine, I didn't see you when you woke up, I assumed you went back into that room.
Y/N: I'm hoping to be done with it soon one day.
Rui: why not just break it now.
Y/N: believe me...it isn't that easy. What's that?

Rui then looked down at the present.

Rui: well, I know you were planning to help prevent small crimes from happening, I figured this could help.

She then opened the box, revealing an updated model of the P★DA. Y/N smiled a little as he looked at it.

Y/N: Definitely less clunky than the one I have.
Rui: I figured you'd like it. Could be helpful for here in Pyrite.
Y/N: you're not wrong.
Rui: hey Y/N, can I ask you a question.
Y/N: always.

Rui then walked over to a chair.

Rui: out of every city and town in the Orre region, you chose Pyrite, why is that?

Y/N remained silent for a few seconds.

Y/N: Duking needs help. I want to help him bring back Pyrite to its glory. There's still undercover Cipher members out there.
Rui: Cipher is no more Y/N, you don't need to worry about them anymore.
Y/N: Rui, they were a cult, much like that Team Rocket we've constantly been hearing about and how they terrorized Kanto. Those kinds of people don't just go away, at this point it's an ideology than people will once again pick up. Taking Pokémon is one thing, but to close their hearts artificially is something that hurts me to this day.
Rui: is that why you still keep the Snag Machine?

Y/N sighed.

Y/N: yes.

The sound of screaming outside was heard, Espeon's ears perked up as Feraligatr broke through a door and began to growl.

Rui: what's going on?
Y/N: I don't know. Can you get Umbreon?
Rui: got it!

Rui ram to the other side of the house and opened a door to an Umbreon in the dark, sleeping. She began to pet the Pokémon as it began to wake up, it looked at her before rubbing its head on her.

Rui: I'm sorry to wake up baby, but there's something going on, Y/N's gathering everyone to help.

The moment Umbreon heard this, it jumped out of the bed and ran through the house and stood next to Espeon as Y/N grabbed a blue and gray coat and threw it on.

Y/N: you all ready?

He looked as his Altaria, Umbreon, Espeon, Feralligatr, Ariados, and Houndoom. They were all ready. Y/N then opened the door as the Pokemon ram out around him, then noticing something, a large man with a mustache and a bunch of other bald men.

?????: get out of the way child!
Girl: I don't know where I am! Please help me!
????: get lost!
Y/N: Gonzap!

The man then turned to see Y/N standing with his Pokémon around him.

Gonzap: well look who it is. The man who destroyed my base, the man who stole my snag machine, the man who took everything that Team Snagem had for them!
Y/N: why are you attacking this girl?

He looked at the child, she had green hair and blue eyes, almost like the ocean.

Gonzap: she came at me first boy.
Y/N: not likely.
Gonzap: she got in my way, and all I had to do was go to the Colosseum! But you know what, I think I will start by bringing you downs a few pegs.

Y/N smirked.

Y/N: I'd like to see you try....

As he said this, Feralligatr poked over
Y/N's shoulder and growled.
