🐉Appearance🐉

-BODY-
Their bodies are small and skinny, and their scales are flexible so they can contort ways a dragon usually wouldn't be able to. This makes their scales weaker, though, and more easily pierced.

--WINGS--
Their wings are large and thin, great for flying quickly. They tear easily, and can be awkward on a younger dragons body because they don't know how to fold them properly. Once the dragon figures out how to fold them, they can press against their sides and "disappear" due to how thin they are.

---TEETH/MOUTH---
They have a set of fangs in the very front of their mouth, which can vary in shape and size (See trait sheet). These fangs are very sharp and can easily cut through flesh, and cut through scales with a bit of effort. Their tongue is forked and long, and their teeth are sharp and usually uneven.

----TAIL----
Their tail is long to help them balance while flying and running along thin branches or other surfaces. At the end, they have a little tuft of fur, which can be several different shapes (See trait sheet). It is quite thin and can be used to smack enemies, but this method of fighting is only used by dragonets.

-----TALONS-----
Their talons are petite, since their frame is so small they don't need large feet to hold them up. They have serrated claws on each of their talons, which can rip through many different materials with ease.

------EYES------
Their eyes are thin, sometimes making other dragons afraid of them because of how judgemental-looking they are. Their pupils can vary in shape (See trait sheet).

🐉Colors🐉

-SCALE COLORS-
The scale colors on GreatWings are usually warm colors. Very rarely, a mutation occurs in the egg and pops out a blue, green, or purple dragonet. Sometimes their color changes over time, but it usually stays the same.

--EYE COLORS--
The eye colors can be any color other than pink. Sometimes the eyes can be two different colors, or even three.

---WING MEMBRANE COLORS--
Same as the scale colors, almost always warm colors. In a rare case, it could be a cool color.

----TAIL TUFT COLORS---
Usually white, but can be desaturated yellow, orange, and red. If the dragon is a cool color instead of red, it can be desaturated blue or green.

🐉Abilities🐉

-FIRE-
They can breathe fire, but they have to charge it up, which takes about 15 seconds.

--TEETH--
Their teeth are very very sharp. Each tooth is barbed, so it rips up the inside of the wound when they bite, like a porcupines quills, but their teeth don't rip out.

---CLAWS---
Their claws are serrated and sharp. They aren't barbed like their teeth, they're smooth, like a snakes scales.

----OTHER----
They're very flexible, more flexible than any other dragon species. Their tails can be like whips, but it's considered a cheap fighting style used only by dragonets. Their sense of smell is below average, but they can hear well.

🐉Diet🐉

-MAIN DIET-
80% of their diet is cooked meat. Most GreatWings will become very sick if they eat raw meat. The other 20% is made up of assorted vegetables and fruits.

--DESSERTS--
There are a few GreatWings that specialize in dessert making. They bake bread, pies, pastries, cookies, donuts, and biscuits.

🐉Government🐉

-BOARD OF GREATWINGS-
There is no king or queen for the GreatWings. It is run by a board of very smart dragons who make decisions for their community. Dragons on the board serve until they die or retire, then the dragons vote for a new board member. They don't have to run to be a board member, but it definitely helps to tell others that they're interested.

🐉Habitat🐉

-CONTINENT-
They live on a small continent south of Pyrrhia called Soli. It's warm and humid, and pretty much a large forest. There's one main city, where the Board of GreatWings live in a large home. 90% of the population lives in the main city, and the other 10% live in scattered villages or small farms.

--CITIES/VILLAGES/FARMS--
Their main city is large and grand. In the center, there is a large marble house where all of the Board Members and their descendants live in. The villages are usually made out of stones, and usually consist of 4-5 homes. Farms are plentiful, but there's usually only one per small village. They grow all of the wheat for bread there, and sometimes they raise animals.

🐉Religion🐉

-MAIN BELIEFS-
They believe in reincarnation after they are dead. They worship the sun, who they call Solis. They don't really pray, but every week most dragons attend a service where an important member of the community light a large bonfire, and everyone who attends gives thanks to Solis and eat desserts.

🐉Holidays🐉

-RELIGIOUS HOLIDAYS-
Every year, there is a Sun Day, or Solis Day. Everyone takes a break from their work and go to the main city, where a large festival takes place. There are games, parades, floats, scale painting, and sun shaped desserts. Everybody loves Sun Day, even dragons who aren't religious.

--SUMMER HOLIDAYS--
Sun Day takes place in the summer, as well as a smaller scale holiday that doesn't have an official name, but is often referred to as The Migration. Most jobs don't give this day off, but they don't need to as it takes place later in the day. All sorts of birds migrate from Soli to Pyrrhia, and everyone likes to watch the rainbow of birds fly across the air. Some even go up to fly with them for a short while, just to experience it. It's illegal to eat these birds while they migrate.

---FALL HOLIDAYS---
They have a day called Conquest Day, where dragonets dress up as their favorite solider from the GreatWing army and go from home to home getting small prizes or sweets. It's not uncommon for dragonets to honor their parents in their costume.

----WINTER HOLIDAYS----
Lunar Day is a day that all three moons are new moons, and there is only one star in the sky. The festival takes place in the main city, and it is full of hot chocolate, peppermint desserts, and a gift giving ceremony. Some dragons choose to throw their own parties, other go to the main festivals.

---SPRING HOLIDAYS---
They have no large holidays in the spring.
