Bonus Chapter

Mahir stood in the center of the breathtaking scene he had orchestrated, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves—a sensation he wasn't used to. The theatre was transformed into an intimate wonderland, every detail reflecting Ritika's essence. Her favorite flowers—lilies and lavender—were everywhere, a cascade of petals softly decorating the floor.

Strings of soft lights intertwined with the blooms, casting a gentle glow across the room. Around them, the walls were lined with large frames, each holding pictures of Ritika: candid shots from moments she didn't know he captured, glimpses into the woman she truly was.

He paused for a moment, breathing in the scene. Everything was perfect—or at least, it had to be. For the first time in his life, he felt a flicker of nervousness, a subtle unease that came with the weight of what he was about to do.

"Mahir?" Riya, his ever-efficient assistant, appeared at the entrance. "Is everything set?"

Mahir ran a hand through his hair, adjusting the lapel of his jacket. "It has to be flawless," he muttered, more to himself than her. "She's coming any minute now."

Riya gave him a reassuring smile. "It's flawless. And you're going to be fine."

Just as she left, Mahir's phone rang, the familiar name lighting up the screen. "Ritika," he whispered to himself before answering. "Yes, little fox?"

"Meeting's over," her voice came through, casual and light. "Where are you? I'm starving. Should I come to your office?"

Mahir suppressed a smirk, his heart racing a little. "Actually, I have something planned for you. Come to the theatre. Trust me, you'll want to see this."

"The theatre?" Ritika's voice sounded curious. "Okay, I'm on my way."

As he hung up, Mahir looked around one last time, running a hand through his damp hair. The stage was set. He straightened up and instructed everyone to make final adjustments, his usual commanding demeanor softened by an underlying anticipation.

When Ritika finally arrived, her eyes widened at the sight before her. "Mahir, what is all this?"

He smiled, his heart swelling as he saw her standing there in awe. "It's for you," he whispered, walking toward her.

She stepped inside, glancing around at the flowers, the lights, and the pictures. "I don't understand..."

Mahir reached her, gently taking her hand. "You will," he said, leading her toward the center of the room. He held her close, looking into her eyes as if memorizing every emotion reflected there.

Taking a deep breath, Mahir began his confession. "Ritika... from the moment you came into my life, everything changed. I thought I had control over everything—my life, my emotions, my heart. But you... you turned my world upside down. You showed me what it means to be vulnerable, to care so deeply it terrifies me."

He paused, the rawness of his words hanging in the air. "You are my madness, my obsession, my calm, and my chaos. Every single part of you has become a part of me, and I can't imagine a day without you driving me insane in the best possible way."

Ritika's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as he continued. "You, with your stubbornness, your strength, your fire... you challenged me in ways I didn't even know were possible. You made me want to be better, not for anyone else, but for you. And somewhere along this twisted path, you became everything—my reason, my heart."

He gestured to the pictures surrounding them. "Every moment, every laugh, every time you looked at me with that defiant spark in your eyes, I fell harder for you. I knew I could never let you go."

Then, in one smooth motion, Mahir dropped to one knee, pulling a small velvet box from his pocket. He opened it, revealing a dazzling ring that caught the soft light around them. It's custom-made—a stunning black diamond encased in delicate platinum, representing both the dark intensity of their relationship and the unbreakable bond they've formed.

"Ritika," Mahir says, his voice shaking slightly for the first time since she's known him, "I could give you the world, but it wouldn't mean anything without you by my side. You've been my obsession, my challenge, my equal. Now, I want you to be my forever."

Her chest tightens, and she's left breathless by the sheer sincerity in his voice, the raw vulnerability of this moment.

"So, little fox," he said, his voice filled with emotion, "will you do me the honor of officially becoming Ritika Mahir Singhania? Will you make me the luckiest man in the world and marry me?"

Ritika's breath caught in her throat. She stared down at him, her hand trembling in his. Tears finally spilled from her eyes, and she let out a soft laugh through the overwhelming joy. "Yes," she whispered, then louder, "Yes!"

Before she could say another word, Mahir stood up swiftly, scooping her into his arms and twirling her around like she weighed nothing. Ritika's laughter filled the air as he spun her in circles, the world around them fading into a blur of lights, flowers, and the soft sound of music that began playing in the background.

He set her down gently, their foreheads resting against each other, both breathless from the moment. And then, as if on cue, the sky outside lit up with bursts of vibrant color. Fireworks erupted above them, lighting up the dark night sky in a magnificent display.

Ritika gasped, looking up at the sky in wonder, while Mahir kept his eyes on her, his heart swelling with love. "I love you, little fox," he whispered softly. "And I will keep loving you, in every way, for the rest of our lives."

She looked back at him, her eyes shimmering with the reflection of the fireworks. "I love you too, Saint," she said, her voice full of emotion.

As the fireworks continued, Mahir leaned in, capturing her lips in a deep, tender kiss—a promise of forever.

He looked down at her, a smirk playing on his lips. "Took you long enough to say yes, little fox."

She laughed, swatting his arm playfully. "You'll pay for that later, Mr. Singhania."

"I'm counting on it."

As they pull back, Mahir rests his forehead against hers, a rare softness in his gaze. "Now," he whispers against her lips, "you're truly mine."

She smiles, her heart full, knowing that this—this love, this passion, this bond—was always meant to be.

And just like that, their story continues—bound by obsession, love, and fate.
