Corey's P.O.V

It was a long night, smuggling beer and the smell of drugs. The b-e-a-utiful bruise from the mosh pit. Saw a few gay couples. So that was swell! Now I'm on my way back to my town, I asked my friend Kay to drive me back. Tank god he wasn't busy I would have been screwed! Kay knows not to pry at times, other times we will just talk but this car ride was fun! He was in a good mood and it kinda rubbed off on me. We keep jamming-out to corny love songs by P!nk and Maroon 5. It was kinda fun and it cheered me up.

"I plan on going to Shanell's house!" I yelled at him over the loud music.

"What?" He yelled back

I just gave up. I went through his car and found a napkin and pen, I wrote in messy had writing 'please take me to Shenells'

"Ok!" He yelled again

— 3 hour time skip —

We pulled in her drive way, and Kay turned down the music a little enough to still enjoy and say a few words. I was taking of my seat belt and just about to open the door but Kay grabbed my wrist,

"Corey, I know you don't like talking about things. Your past, what you fell, but I want to be there for you. You have been so nice at letting me in your life, despite our age difference, I want to be someone you can talk to. I want to protect you and save you from trouble when your in it. I want to be your knight in shining armor-"

"No hetero tho?" I interrupted him

"Yeah", he smiles "No hetero tho."

With that I officially got out of the car. Once I got to the door I looked back at the door and I was gonna wave at Kay but he was already rocking out to music. I chuckled a bit and went inside. It was very unlike Shenall to leave the door unlocked. After dark she always locks the door. I walk in and yell,

"Honey I'm home!"

No response

"Ty?"

Still no response

"Tyler! Shanell!"

Still no response

I start searching the downstairs area looking in random places like under the sink and the microwave. Nothing! I took apart the couch and tore open all the cabinets looking for something! I ran upstairs and immediately I saw Shanell asleep in front of the bathroom door, deep sleep! She must have had a rough dealing with emotional Tyler. I felt bad for her.

I picked her up and put her in her parents room. Sense she moved the the country her parents have been trying really hard at getting money so it wasn't unusual that her parents were gone for an entire 24 hours. I tucked her in and she immediately turned on her side towards me putting her arm around my neck and pulling me down on the bed. My first thought was

'I hope Ty dose't walk in!'

"Where's Ty?" Shenell asked in a low mumble

"Shhh", a sang a bit "I have that covered" I pulled her hair back away from her face

"Don't you worry" she smiled a bit and kissed my cheek

As much we hate each other at times we do have that weird love hate relationship. She would hug me I'd hug. I'd punch her she punch back. She would kiss me on the cheek I'd would take it. I'd cuddle with her, she wouldn't fight it. I do get mad at Tyler for my over dramatic theory of her cheating on me with her. But I guess she my do the same.

I slowly retracted myself away from her and went that bathroom that Ty had barricaded herself in. I knocked on the door. No answer. I did it again but louder. I wanted a bit...still no answer. I wiggled the locked door handle. Nothing. Not even a grunt from the other side of the door.

"Ty" I whispered loudly

Nothing.

"Ty" I said a little louder

Silence.

"Tyler!" I yelled a bit

Nil.

"Tyler!" I yelled pretty loud

I quickly checked to see if I woke up Shenell. I didn't. I kicked the door. I herd a crack in the door. I ran down stairs and in the garage and grabbed the crowbar. The only way I knew it was in there was because came at Shenell with it in my hands a few months ago.

I quickly sprinted back up the stairs to brake the door...after I stopped breathing heavily. I hit the door over and over again, frequently try to pry the door. I her a big crack and I kicked the door. Not a lot of movement. I stepped back far enough to feel a wall behind me. I took a deep breath...and closed my eyes

*Flash back*

'OmG!...I touched her hand!' I thought to myself

She looked up at me and smiled with a very noticeable blush. I herd her mumble something and look down.

"What?" I asked for clarification

"I-" she pauses

"Yeah?" I respond

"I want you to be my knight in shining armor, I want you to save me when I need you. I want you in general, for every reason. I want to hold your hand when I'm scared. I want to jump in your arms when I win. I want to do things with you that others don't...because there not gay and we are ............ can you do that for me?"

"Depends if you let?"

She giggles and kissed me. It felt, so, so...GOOD. I could feel her life drain into me and I loved it so much. Her love was mine and I just new it!

*End flash back*

I opened my eyes with intent to cry but the outcome was my love for her.
