Note #1

The two stopped in front of the elderly couple who welcomed them gleefully. Takara got off as Shouta followed her actions while still holding to the bike's handles.

"I'm back! I brought Taka home!" Shouta announced with a grin on his face. The brunette greeted them happily. "Good afternoon, Shouta's grandma and grandpa!"

"Just grandma and grandpa are alright, dearie." She said as she waved it off with her hand. "We've known you since you were little. No need to be so formal. You are family too, of course."

The old man next to her slowly approached Takara with his back a little hunched. He adjusted his glasses as his eyes squinted and he then patted her shoulder as a very small smile was plastered on his face. "My, my. Taka sure has grown up to be a fine girl. She really is a keeper, Shou." He grinned as he winked at his grandson.

"Keeper?" Takara tilted her head with an imaginary question mark floating up, very obliviously. Meanwhile, Shouta blushed as red as a tomato before exclaiming. "Gramps! We're just friends!"

Takara looked at him with confusion because of his reddened cheeks. He looked away to hide it while the other giggled at how cute it was which made him blush harder.

"Now, now. Come. Let's go inside. You must be tired on your way here." Shouta's grandma said as she assured Takara to go inside their house. She obliged as she followed the elderly woman inside with Shouta's grandpa.

"I'll just put the bike at the back. I'll join you guys by then!" Shouta said as he strode around the house to set his bike.

Takara sat down on the old but stylish couch in the living room as she scanned the whole thing. The walls were painted lime green with straight patterns decorating it. Family photos and paintings covered the walls of each. Her eyes wondered to the small fireplace at the center that wasn't lit because it was day. They were even photo frames standing on top of it and also cute animal figures for design.

"So Taka, how have you been? Did you manage to finish your studies?" Takara looked at the elder man who sat on an arm chair with a contented smile on his face as he looked at her for an answer.

"Ah, yes, I did. I started composing after I graduated but I decided to relax first for the meantime. That's why I agreed Shouta's proposal on spending my relaxing year with him here with you. After all, it has been a while since I was here." She said shyly as she fidgeted while plsying with her thumbs. The old man chuckled and replied, "Well, it'll be nice to have you two here since you were the lively rascals of the house!"

"You can stay here as long as you want, Taka. Grandpa and I don't mind at all. This is your home as well." said Grandma as she went out of the kitchen slowly with a tray of alphabet cookies and juices. "Ah. Just like old times." Takara thought as the tray was placed on the coffee table. She reached out for the treat and bit on it as she savored the deliciousness of the sweet.

"Grandma, you really do make the best cookies in the world- No, wait- THE UNIVERSE!!" Takara exclaimed as she raised the now-bitten cookie like it was a trophy she won in an international competition. Her eyes were sparkling immensely with admiration towards the elderly woman. She laughed heartedly at Takara eating the cookies with a very happy aura.

"I see, you still have a big sweet tooth, huh, Takara?" The brunette turned her head to the direction of the voice with a cookie hanging on her mouth childishly. Shouta was snickering while leaning on the door frame of the living room entrance. "You're gonna weigh a lot more if you continue stuffing your face."

"I'm not that heavy!" She muffled her words because of the cookie in her mouth. The other let out a small laugh before stroding over to sit next to her and getting a cookie himself.

"Whatever you say~" He said as he ate but added a bit more. "But, it was kinda easy when we were coming here so it wasn't hard for me to pedal up because you were small—" He stopped mid-sentence when he felt a scary aura beside him as he slowly looked to his left. Shouta squeaked and started trembling at the sight he saw. The said sight he was looking at was Takara emitting a very scary aura with a sweet sickly smile graced on her lips as her eyes were fixed directly on him. Ah, he hit the trigger on her.

"What was that, Shouta~?" She said cheerfully with a sing-a-song voice at the end. Too cheerful, in Shouta's opinion that sent down a shiver down his spine.

"Erk! N-Nothing! J-Just saying that you look cute with your height and—"

"ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY I'M SMALL?"

"N-N-NO...! Well... maybe... a bit... but it's still—"

"SHOUTAAAAAAA!"

"AH! I'M SORRY!! DON'T KILL ME, TAKARAAAAA!!"

The elderly couple watched them with smiles on their faces as the two kept bickering. Takara chased Shouta all over the room trying to get her hands on him while the other was trying to calm her down and asking if they could just talk it out. To his prevail, it didn't work out very well. Eventually, Takara started chasing the other all over the house. Oh, how lively the house has gone by now.

At the back of the house after the whole chasing fit, Takara was sitting on the edge of the platform of the house, swinging her legs in a rhythming manner. She stared at the small vegetable garden and flower garden that was the the end of the fences around the house, placed in different corners.

"I had a feeling you were here." A voice said as Takara looked behind as she snorted. "You really know where I go when I'm bored, huh, Shouta..."

Shouts laughed and sat beside her as he offered a can of soda to her which she gladly accepted. He pulled out a can for himself as he opened it. The two sat in silence side by side as they watched the clouds float by in the blue sky.

"You know..." Shouta started, breaking the suffocating silence away. He brought his lips to the can and drank a small gulp as he backed away from it still looking forward.

"What?" Takara asked, drinking her own as she looked at him.

"... When we make some lyrics in our song?" He said twirling the can in his hand as he felt the contents of it moving in a swirling matter. He looked at her with a small smile. "Just a little bit of fun. It's not such a bad idea too."

Takara thought of it for a moment before looking back at the sky. "Sure. Why not. It'll be great to pass time. After all, we're staying here for as long as I can tell."

She stood up and walked to the center of the backyard as she lied down there and looking directly at the sky filled with puffy white clouds. Shouta followed and lied down beside her.

"Just like when we were kids?"

"Just like it."

Shouta chuckled before looking up straight at the sky and said, "I spy with my little eye...."

His eyes trailed over to the one beside him as he continued, "... Something cute... and... small..."

A moment of silence covered them as Takara stared at the sky. The boy decided to voice out something but got cut-off when Takara lifted her arm and pointed at something. "There."

Shouta blinked and looked at where she was pointing as he saw a cloud bunny forming.

"Its cute and small. It's a bunny." Takara replied giving off a smile. Shouta laughed and smiled as well.

"Right! It was a bunny!" He said as he looked at it. 'Abunnythatremindsmeofyou.' He silently thought s he glanced at her once again.

"Your turn." Shouta said as he put his arms over his head as a pillow.

"Alright! I spy with my little eye something..."
