October 15
Today was a very good show.
The crowd was amazing.
But I just didn't feel right. Nobody could tell except for josh, of course, though.
"Baby," He said as soon as we got off stage, wrapping me in a big hug.
And right then and there I broke down crying.
He carried me to the bus and helped showed me off, dress me in more comfortable clothes and sat me in his lap in bed, rocking me back and forth.
He pressed kisses to my hair, snuggled me and whispered sweet things into my ear.
He's such an amazing husband.
Eventually, I calmed down, and he started asking me questions quietly.
"What's wrong, baby?" He said, kissing my forehead and rubbing my back gently.
"I-I miss m-my family..." I said almost silently.
"We just talked to them on the phone yesterday," josh said.
I looked at him and he then knew.
"Oh," he said quietly, hugging me tightly. "Oh, baby, I'm so sorry..."
This has never, ever happened before. I've never really talked to josh about my family, especially within the past few months.
"I-I shouldn't miss them, b-but I do," I cried into his shoulder.
"Shhh, baby. It's ok. It's ok to feel like that," Josh said, rubbing my back. "But I don't think they're worth wasting negative emotion over..."
I continued to cry, hugging him even tighter. "W-why didn't they love me?"
Josh sighed and pulled me even closer, kissing my lips. He didn't know what to say for a while. But eventually, he spoke up.
"That doesn't matter, Ty. My family loves you so so so much, and I love you more than anything. I'm always, always gonna be there to take care of you. We're married for a reason, baby. You've got six people who care about you so so so much between myself and the rest of my family. And all your friends love you and care about you, and now you have literally thousands of fans who love you!"
I sniffled and hugged him tightly, nuzzling into his neck. "You're the only one I care about."
Josh smiled and laughed softly, continuing to hug me tightly. "I love you, baby. More than I'll ever love anyone."
Josh just ended up holding me the rest of the night. We were originally supposed to go out with the crew for dinner, but we stayed on the bus.
I just kept crying in his arms, and he didn't get tired of holding me, listening to my sniffles.
He's just...
The best.
He's the best.
"How about we go for a walk?" He asked, kissing my forehead. "It's kind of cool out and it'll feel nice to move around."
I sniffled but nodded, and he smiled. He held his hands out and helped pull me up, walking out of the bus with me.
We held hands as we walked, stopping every few minutes so I could hug him while I cried.
"I love you, Ty," he would always say, hugging my tightly and kissing my head.
Eventually, though, I started having a panic attack.
So we quickly rushed back to the bus and josh sat me on the bed, telling me he'd be back in a moment. And he was, with a glass of water.
He gave it to me and allowed me to do my thing.
Typically, during the actual attack, I can't have people touching me, but I gave Josh permission a long time ago to hold my arms down or stop me if I start scratching at my wrists or try to run.
And this time, he had to do both.
He didn't straddle me, knowing that would be too much for me, so he instead pulled me into his lap and bear hugged me.
Eventually, I calmed down, and just started crying again.
He whispered in my ear, rocking me back and forth. "I love you. You're perfect. You're the best husband I could ever ask for. You're so strong and beautiful. I love you so so so much."
I sniffled and allowed him to gently lay me down on the bed, tucking me under the covers.
"I'm s-sorry," I sniffled.
"Don't be sorry, love," he said, running his fingers through my hair. "Never be sorry for something like this."
I sniffled and looked into his eyes, appreciating when he leaned down and gave my forehead a soft kiss.
"Drink some water, baby," he said, sitting me up a bit and holding the glass to my lips. I shakily took a few sips, ending up just hugging Josh again.
He never pulled away.
Have I mentioned he's the best?
We laid down in bed and he talked about random things, wanting to distract me.
"Did you know giraffes have really long necks?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Like... really, really long necks?"
I nodded again. "Y-you didn't know that?"
"Well, I knew they were long, but not like six feet long! That's huge!"
I couldn't help but smile a bit, and that made him smile too.
"Did you know a duck was the first passenger in a hot air balloon?" He asked.
I shook my head with a slight smile.
"Did you know nearly three percent of glaciers in the Antarctic is penguin pee?"
I giggled quietly and shook my head, my smile becoming wider as his did as well.
"Did you know the twitter bird actually has a name?" He grinned. "It's Larry."
I tried not to laugh, but his adorably goofy grin won me over. He opened his arms and I crawled into them, hugging him tightly.
"I love you so much, Joshua. You're the best," I said.
"I love you too, baby," he smiled, hugging me tightly back. "I'm glad you like my fun facts."
"Such good facts," I giggled as I kissed his lips.
He smiled in the kiss and giggled as well.
"But in all seriousness," I said as I pulled back, my eyes closed as I pressed my forehead against his while I sat in his lap. "Thank you for being such an amazing, understanding husband."
"You're the exact same, Ty," he said. "So patient and kind and caring and sweet and thoughtful. The list goes on and on."
I blushed and smiled shyly, continuing to hug him.
We then crawled under the sheets a little while later and snuggled before falling asleep.
I love my husband.
I love, love, love my husband.
