October 13

The first show was today.

It was insane.

2,000 people.

It was so fucking incredible.

Everyone knew all the lyrics, I sounded good, Josh was drumming amazingly, everything was perfect.

At some point, someone yelled 'fuck me tyler' and I stopped what I was saying and just kinda smiled, taking the microphone out of the stand and walking back to where josh was.

"This is my husband, Joshua," i grinned, kissing the top of his head while I proudly showed off my wedding ring as he showed his off as well. "And I will gladly inform you he is the only one I will be doing inappropriate things with. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, he will be available once we make out after the show," I grinned.

Everyone cheered loudly, and I just kinda giggled and blushed, Josh smiling widely as he kissed my cheek.

We then went into the next song.

It was great.

And while it was so many people, it felt like an intimate performance.

The crew was amazing, too. Absolutely incredible.

After the show, Josh and I showered off and went to bed after thanking each member of the crew for everything.

Josh and I snuggled up as we watched a movie, telling each other over and over again how great the other did.

We still hadn't left the parking lot yet when we heard a knock on the door of the bus.

I looked out the window and Michael, our head of security, started walking towards the door, but I told him it was alright.

I went to the door and opened it, finding a mom holding her daughter who looked about three years old.

"Hi!" I smiled.

"Hi," the mother replied with a shy smile. "I'm so sorry if this is a bother or slowing you down, just my daughter really wanted to give you a card she made."

"Aw, it's no bother," I smiled.

"H-hi," the little girl said quietly.

"Hi, cutie," I grinned, reaching my arms out. The mother let me hold her, and I couldn't stop smiling as I opened the card.

'Dear Mr. Tyler,

Thank you for making my mommy happy.

Love,
Ruby'

With the band logo drawn in adorably squiggly lines.

"This is so so so sweet," I smiled. "Thank you so much. I'm glad the music helps."

The mother smiled and nodded.

The little girl hugged my neck tightly as I held her, making me giggle.

"Ask if she wants a picture, Ty!" I heard josh call out with a giggle.

Why would someone want a picture with me?

But I asked anyway.

She took one of me and her daughter.

"You don't wanna be in it?" I asked.

"O-oh, no. I-I don't think I look very good in pictures."

"I don't think I look good in pictures either," I smiled, pulling her over beside me and having Michael take our photo.

"Thank you so so so much for the incredible night," the mother said. "I-i can't thank you enough for what you've done for me."

I smiled and gave her a hug as well as her daughter, handing her back to her.

"Stay alive," i said. "It's worth it."

She smiled and nodded, giving me one last wave before shuffling away.

"Look, Josh," I smiled as I returned to our room. The bus had started moving. "The little girl made us a card."

Josh smiled as he looked at it. "Aw, that's so sweet!"

I nodded in agreement, setting it on my bedside table and crawling into bed next to Josh, snuggling up with him again.

"I love you, baby," i said, kissing his temple before turning on my side to go to sleep.

"I love you too, honey," Josh smiled, his arm around me as he continued to watch tv, falling asleep sometime in the night.
