I wake up to my school alarm again. I get ready, and I'm wondering what this day will bring me. I think of Grammy, and I think I will visit the hospital after school.
School is a normal day, boringness, boringly boring, teasing, and work. There was a lot of talk about the wolf, too. When I got home, I asked my mom if she could drive me to the hospital to see Grammy. She dropped me off and I immediately went to the front desk.
"May I see Felicia Rolandson?"
"Is she expecting you? Or are you a family member or a friend?" The lady behind the desk asked me.
"I'm her granddaughter, Annie Rolandson. Please, I need to see her."
"Alright, one second please."
I waited as she contacted and asked for her room number, but I was worried with the lady's response on the phone.
"What do you mean, she's not there? Of course she is! She has to be! Hold on one second."
She turns to me. "Apparently, she has disa-"
"I heard!" I snapped. "I'm leaving. Bye."
"Do you have a ride?" she asks like I'm stupid.
"I'll be fine," I say and I walk out the door.
I need to figure out what happened with Grammy and how to get her back, and soon.
