Once I'm behind the house, I become a butterfly and follow them. She's going to court! I realize this is when I go and get Grammy. I fly through the window I flew out of and become myself. I wake Grammy, and she seems healed.
"Annie, where am I? Oh no, did I lose my memory? Did you... read it?"
I know what the "it" is. "Yes, but.... what's yours?"
"Mind-reading. That's how I knew you were bullied."
"I wondered about that. I never told anybody."
"Well, I didn't either." She smiles and I smile back. She's back! Grammy is herself!
"Well, what's yours?" I don't know. I think it's two!
"Well, I can do this!" I whisper what I wish to be, and I become a wolf. My first, my newly chosen favorite. "And anything else I want!"
"Well, dear, I think that beats mine! Some things you don't want to know and some things are too personal."
I whisper, "I wish I can be myself." Technically, that's my favorite! I become myself and I wonder if telekinesis is also a power of mine! I decide to test it right now.
I move the lamp with my finger, and Grammy follows my finger to it. She looks shocked!
"You can do that, too? There's only supposed to be one!" I thought so.
"That's what I thought, but I did this once and didn't know if it was me or my imagination!"
"Well, it's real! How do we get home?"
"The front entrance isn't an option because I got someone caught here and they know, so how can we get out the window?"
"You can fly out, but about me, I'll climb," she says like she actually means it.
"No way! I'll get you." I fly out as a ladybug, and I become an elephant so she can get on my back. I really hope nobody's looking.
"Good thinking." She gets on and I walk behind the house and become myself.
"Let's go through the woods. I know the way, and from prior knowledge." We smile. This is the last thing I ever expected to experience with Grammy.
"Well, don't you wanna be a wolf in there? It's pretty amazing."
"Well, okay!" I whisper, "I wish I can be a wolf pack alpha!" After the transformation, I wanna show her my pack!
"Grammy, I can create a wolf pack to be mine! Hide behind a tree downwind! Or, since you can't tell, left!" She goes behind a left tree.
"Hey, alpha! Glad you finally came back!" My Beta says excitedly.
"We got you a meal! Fifteen deer when you were gone! Can you believe it?" The Omega is excited, too. The omega is actually okay with its position in the pack, so that makes me feel better.
"Mmm, really? That's so nice of you!" They are all happy, and the hunters seem proud.
I can't help but eat a little bit now. I look at Grammy, and she is smiling. What a wonderful day! Not for Ally. A part of me still feels guilty.
After a meal, I say that I will see them later and that Beta is in charge again.
"Aww, again? Okay, bye! May you find a family of deer where you are!"
"Thanks, guys! Bye!"
