*Emily's POV* pony put me in bed slowly and carefully he then layed next to me with his arms behind his head looking up at the ceiling "you okay pony?" I said "yeah I'm just used to soda being here that's all" pony said "well I can move to the couch if you want" I said about to get up "no its fine I'm fine you don't have to move for someone that lives here" pony said holding me "okay" I said I faced him laying on my side then he face me laying on his side and we kissed and this time it felt different it felt more magical. Then pony said these words that no one has ever told me before "I love you" I couldn't see him but I could tell he was probably smiling "good night Ponyboy Curtis" I said and turned facing the other side of the wall I kinda felt bad but I didn't know if I loved him I didn't even know if this was right dating my best friend well know its too late to say best friend more like boyfriend now but I didn't know where this was going. Was it gonna crash and burn? Was it gonna be happily ever after? I had these things going on in my head and more I could barely fall asleep I think pony knew something was wrong because he got close to me and put his arm around me and I instantly fell asleep.I don't know maybe it was right the next morning I woke up and pony was already out of bed and I went to the kitchen and got a glass of milk and sat at the table and soda was sitting across from me eating cereal "so how was sleeping in my room?" Soda asked I wondered why he said 'my room' as if pony didn't sleep there either "huh? Oh it was fine" I said I had no idea what to say so I just said that. "Nice" soda said looking down at his cheerios "hey Curtis family!" Two-Bit said walking in the kitchen "hey" I said Two-Bit walked up to me and hugged me and said "hey kid" I walked out to the living room and was watching TV with Ponyboy I looked at him then leaned my head on his shoulder he picked me up and put me on his lap it didn't feel right at first but when we started talking it did when he would make laugh I would lean in and laugh on his chest and he would hug me. Two-Bit had the idea to sit in my lap until I pushed him off and he fell on the floor "that's okay I like the floor its not gonna push me off" Two-Bit said laughing "I kind of wish it would that would be hilarious" is aid throwing a pillow at his head "hey you could've broke something" he said smiling "well it wouldn't be you because honey your already broken" I said laughing for some reason that made pony laugh a lot. I don't know why but I can never get pony to laugh but he laughed at that "who's ready to hangout Dally said opening the door me an pony looked at each other and we raced to the door I made it first but pony lifted me up and put me behind him so he could leave first I started laughing. "Nice you sell your girlfriend out to get to the door first" I said laughing "is this bucks car?" Pony asked as he reached for my hand "yeah man get in" Dally said "where's johnny?" I asked " I don't think he's coming but you got your boyfriend so it's okay huh?" Dally said with a smile "yeah" I said smiling at pony. Pony smiled back we walked around then snuck into the nightly double and watch like 45 minuets of a movie then left and went to Buck's and partied I guess, it really wasn't my thing and I don't think it was pony's either so after 10 minuets me an pony told Dally that we were just gonna walk home dally offered to walk us back but we didn't want him to leave just because of some kids who didn't like drinking and sex. We walked out of the house and held hands on the way home we stopped at the lot and looked at the stars talking about how pretty they were on the way home we held hands we were just a block away from pony's house and then Randy and Bob pulled up "what do they want?" I asked pony "I don't know but just stay close to me don't pull your blade just yet" pony said putting me behind him I guess he was protecting me but I didn't feel very protected by a guy who is without a blade Randy came out of the car but told the others to stay in. "What do you want ape face?" I said "just shut up and listen,your gonna get what you asked for tomorrow night tell your little gang to come to the vacant lot nobody shoots my tires" Randy said looking at Ponyboy "well obviously someone should and oh yeah someone did so there you go" I said sarcastically "ha ha you just keep talking little princess and wait until tomorrow" Randy said and got back in the car after they drove off me and pony looked at each other and I knew what was next "go ahead" I said and pony lifted me up and started running.
