*Ponyboy's POV* I kissed Emily I know we promised to stay best friends but I couldn't help it I mean seeing her beautiful brown hair and her sparkling blue eyes during the sunset it was like perfect timing or so I thought it was. She didn't act as I thought she would she was acting like it never even happened she's not even looking at me and I'm sitting right across from her I'm even wearing her favorite shirt a sleeveless blue sweat shirt and she doesn't seem to care what's wrong? I thought to myself. Emily always tells me how she doesn't like relationships because their full of drama but I didn't think so all I saw in relationships was a lot of kissing and cuddling but I guess she doesn't think of it that way. Two-Bit wins the pot and everyone is saying how he's cheating "hey ain't he a cheater pony?" Dally asked me patting me on the back how was I gonna answer that when they had to keep reminding me it was my turn throughout the whole game "well honestly I don't know but Two-Bit is a good player so maybe he does deserve the pot" I said looking at Emily and Two-Bit "hey pony your a good egg you've always been one go buy yourself some nice jeans" Two-Bit says kind of cocky handing me $10 "gee thanks I can get a whole lot with $10" I say sarcastically with a smile. "Hey listen if the door bell rings let me answer it Tim Shepard is supposed to drop by with some more cash to give to me" Dally says in sord of a hush tone "guys dinner will be ready in 10 minuets" Darry shouts from the kitchen, I smile at Emily and keep smiling until she opens her mouth and just when I think she's gonna say something to me she just ask what's for dinner turns out she is ignoring me I also know this because she was kind of flirting with Two-Bit and Steve she was laughing at everything they said and she was leaning on Two-Bit and Two-Bit fell under her trap and started playing along to. It made me furious how she knew that I was watching her and how she told me that she's not interested in dating but look at what she's doing she's practically on a date with Two-Bit and steve ,Steve may not realize it but I sure do. The door bell rings and I turn around and watch Dally open the door it was Tim Shepard "here Dally its 50 bucks I already counted it before I left to come here,I also have the gun you asked for here be careful its loaded." Tim Shepard said in a low tone but serious voice "thanks tim you better get out of here" Dally said worried for him. Dally turned around and everyone was looking at him even Emily was and Emily was the first to speak she said "so who's gonna be dead by Dallas Winston?" Everyone started laughing "ha ha ha" Dally said sarcastically "nah man I just have to carry it around sometimes you know, crazy people in this world" Dally says with a smile on his face. I turned on the TV and sat on the couch and Mickey was on Two-Bit joined me and sat on the couch to there was one spot left on the other side of me I offered it to Emily but she sat in soda's lap on the floor. Now she was making me mad I guess that kiss meant absolutely nothing to her but it meant the world to me I don't understand.
