Mark's POV:
We arrived at my parents' house and we were greeted with hugs by our families.
"Hey guys!" Said Tom.
"Hey everyone!"
"Hey Uncle Tom."
"Hey there kiddo."
He hugged Kat and messed up her hair. This is what I like to see. Everyone is getting along, having a good time, and everyone is happy.
~During Dinner~
Everyone was talking about a lot of random things.
"Ok, ok," Said Jack's mom, "I remember when your mom and I were in school and the teacher would always yell at us, ever when we weren't talking. He'd find something to yell at us about. Anyways, we decided to give him a great reason to yell. So we put hot sauce in his coffee and when he drank it, he ran out the classroom screaming Water! I need water!"
Then my mom laughed.
"Yeah, I remember that day. I don't think he ever found out it was us though."
"You know what? You're right. I wonder how he's doing now."
"I bet he doesnt eat or drink anything hot."
Then we all chuckled and continued to talk about things that happened in school and in other places.
~After Dinner~
We all sat down in the living room and watched a movie. We had to decide on a kid-friendly movie, so we chose Finding Dory. Jack, Kat and I were snuggled up together during the movie. Eventually, Kat fell asleep. So we put her on the couch and wrapped her up in a blanket. Everyone else went to sleep while we stayed in the living room. Jack and I stayed on the floor and watched the rest of the movie.
"I love you so much." Said Jack.
"I love you too." I replied.
We gave each other a little peck on the lips and got up to go home. I carried Kat to the car, strapped her in, and got in the car. Today was a good day. I'm glad everything went well. I'll admit- I was a little nervous today. But since everything went well, my nervousness went away. I'm glad I married Jack and adopted Kat because they make my life better every single day.
