*Chloe's POV*
It was Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, and 2 other unfamiliar girls. Maddie was walking towards me.
"Chloe!!?" She yelled. The man on the speaker was saying a few things before starting the next age group.
"M-M-Maddie... Kenzie.."
"Am I making you nervous? I'm so sorry!!" Maddie said. She gave me a hug, and Mackenzie came up and did the same.
"Who are those two..?" I asked nervously. I hope I don't pass out or mess up on stage.
"Oh! This is Kalani and Jojo. They're really good." Kenzie said. Wow, that calmed my nerves saying they were really good.
"It was really nice to see you guys, but I'm about to be called." I said to them.
"Okay. Yesterday was my birthday so we are all going against each other as friends." Kenzie said smiling. I hid my nervousness as much as possible. She didn't know I was nervous that's why she was saying that kind of stuff.

"Please Welcome Chloe Lukasiak to the stage with Little Bird!" Said the man over the speaker.
I went into my starting position. The position required me looking stage right. That's where Maddie, Mackenzie, Kalani, And Jojo were. They were running their numbers to each other.

The music started, and I stood up a little shakey. Four ALDC dancers were here. They could be doing duets/trios against me too.
I did my dance, and I felt extremely happy with myself. I think I nailed it. But I'm going against Maddie, Grown up Mackenzie, and 2 other unknown dancers called Kalani and Jojo.
Maddie was up next, and when her name was called, I saw my moms Jaw drop from the audience.

I started to cry, and all my dance friends were asking why.
"Four of them... Abby Lee Dance Company dancers.. Maddie.. Mackenzie.. And 2 others I've never seen before. And they could have duets or trios against us.. Plus group."
I explained. Madelyne spoke up.
"Chloe, our duet is amazing, nobody can beat us! And your solo was FLAWLESS. yours was too, Lyss! And the group is unbeatable. They're just another dance team who thinks they're better than everyone better than everyone"
"Thanks Madelyne." Everyone smiled as my mom came backstage.

*Christi's POV*
Maddie Ziegler's name was called. At NATIONALS. Abby always decks herself out for nationals.
"Um exuse me, may I see the schedule?" I asked the music man. Heres what I saw.

Wow. I'm nervous, But my Chloe was great. I continued to read the duets

Everyone was doing a dance there, and hell was I worried.

*Chloe's POV*
Me and Madelyne got ready for our duet together. I was nervous, but not as much. Mom had told me that everyone at the ALDC was doing a duet, but I loved our duet and so did Madelyne, I can do it and I know I can.

My summer stared Wednesday And I've nothing yet ugh dance doesn't start until June 23rd but its almost my 13th birthday (June 11th) and I'm going to the beach yayay!
