Chapter 1

      *Chloe's POV*
I woke up at 4:15 am, its Friday! Today I'm traveling to nationals! I smiles and did a quick frontflip off of the top bunk of my bed. I don't really like taking the stairs.
I headed off into the kitchen to make me some breakfast, but instead found my mom. (Christi)
  "Good morning, mom."
"And Clara, too!" Yelled my little five-year-old sister. I laughed. "Sorry, Clara, didn't see you there!" My mom grinned. "Good morning girls, hungry?" She said as she handed us our breakfast of eggs, maple sausage, buttered toast, and a glass of milk.
"Yeah, I said."

When I was done eating, I went off to my room and got dressed. I wore a large, stylish, comfortable sweater with some leggings. I wanted to be comfortable for the bus ride. I did my makeup, and straightened my hair. I always straighten my hair for competitions, when its curly its harder to keep it all in a bun.
I headed off to the bathroom to brush my teeth, and actually use the bathroom. I then looked at the clock. 5:53 AM. I went downstairs. "I'm ready!" I yelled. "Okay!" My moms yelled back. We put our suitcases in the car and went to The Abby Lee Dance Company.
Once we got there, I greeted my friends. I gave them all a big hug, and waving to Abby. She was a little on the strict side. Well, more like a lot. But it made us better dancers, along with all the panic attacks. We all got on the bus while Abby was giving our bus driver, Jim, the address.
We left around 7.

           ~Getting Ready For Nationals~
My mom was doing my hair for the group dance, Amber Alert, while I did my makeup. I really loved this group dance, and was really excited to do it. But not as much as my solo, Soaring. I got up and went with the girls to get our costumes on. Mackenzie was the girl who was getting kidnapped, and Maddie was the one trying to save her. I found that cute, since they're sisters. Anyways, the rest of us were the bad ones.
It was time to dance. We went out on stage, and preformed. I thought we did great! Now its time to get ready for my solo. I had a little extra time, since Kendall was first. Once we were ready, Kendall went on stage. Me, however,  I was backstage watching her. I was up next.
"Good luck."  Kendall said after she walked off stage, hugging me.
I did my solo, walking off stage thinking what every girl on the ALDC Competition team thinks, "Will Abby be proud?"
But I ended up winning! The group did, too! I won nationals, yay!

I was running to the room where we got ready to see everyone, and hug my mom. I stopped at the doorway, hearing Abby and my mom fighting.
"Your daughter is DONE! She's washed up!" Abby screamed.
I couldn't hear anything after that. I ran in the room a minute later. "Hey, Chloe." Moms said. "I heard what happened.." I replied letting out a sigh. "Oh." I cried as my mom took me outside. I was sobbing.
"I still wanna dance, but I don't wanna be treated like this" I said. My mom was hugging me. "We can be done if you want, we don't ever have to see her again." Mom was just trying to make me feel  better. Oh well.
We went home for the night.
