Elijah was glad that his little girl was getting along with Hayley and Davina who was helping the little witch control her magic. Many things Elijah was ready for, Klaus going to slaughter a coven witch for trying to take youngest Mikaelsons, Rebekah nearly killing half of Marcel's vampires because just one accidentally hit Blake, the wolves showering his Babygirl with handmade gifts. Yes, many things but what he wasn't ready for was Blake being scared out of her mind.

"Alright Babygirl ready for bed?" Elijah asked as Blake smiled brightly running to her bed already dressed and hugging a stuff wolf close, she got from Jackson.

"Yes daddy. So is wolfie." She chirped happily as Elijah smiled making sure her windows were locked as rain poured outside.

"You had a big day today. How was it?" Elijah asked as he checked for monsters as Blake smiled.

"Jackson took me and Hayley swimming, Uncle Nik and I was looking at paints for Hope's room when she gets to come home." Blake tells her father pausing feeling sad and Elijah picked up on it right away.

"What's wrong Babygirl?"

"I miss Hope. When can she come home?" Blake asked looking at her father as he knelt by the bed. It didn't surprise Elijah that his daughter already was attached to Hope since she was mostly around Hayley during the pregnancy.

"Soon. But for now, we got to make it safe for her. Goodnight my little witch."

"Okay daddy. Night daddies love you." Blake smiled letting Elijah tucked her in and kissed her forehead then wolfie's when she made him.

"I love you more." Elijah said softly staying a few moments to run his fingers though her hair until she fell asleep. Elijah got ready bed and saw a flash of lightning and thought nothing of it as he got in bed and went to sleep. It wasn't until 4am he was woken by something barreled into his chest.

"Blake? What are you d......." Elijah was cut off by a loud boom of thunder and his baby squeaking in fear shaking like a leaf. Elijah realized she was scared of the thunder while he knew she had no problem with storms, but New Orleans's storms was a different ball game as they were louder and scarier.

"Th....thunder......monster...daddy." Blake said her voice was shaky as its broke Elijah's heart and got her under his blanket. Elijah wrapped his arms around her thinking of how he could calm her and idea popped in his head just there was another clap of thunder.

"Shhhh baby, the thunder monster can't get you." Elijah said softly seeing her peek her head out from under the blanket.

"It can't?"

"No. Come here Babygirl." Elijah said gently taking her into his arms moving from the bed to a chair by the window.

"See the flashes of light?" Elijah asked softly getting a shaky nod from his daughter as a roll of thunder followed after a flash of lightning.

"That is the God Thor fighting the thunder monster as the monster used to scare aunt Beka." Elijah tells Blake rubbing her back feeling her relax a bit.

"Really?"

"Yes, so I asked Thor to protect her, but the God promised to protect anyone from the thunder monster." Elijah said softly as the girl relaxed even more looking out the window see the lighting light up the sky as there was a clap of thunder. Elijah smiled as Blake layed her head on his shoulder while she was still scared, she felt safer.

"Can I stay with you daddy?"

"Of course, my sweet girl." Elijah said standing going back to bed. Blake happily layed on her father making him chuckle kissing her head and placed a hand on her back to sure she wouldn't fall off.

"Night night daddy."

"Night night Babygirl. Now get some sleep." Elijah said softly running his fingers though her curls making Blake fall asleep.

"Elijah! Have you seen......Blake..." Klaus let his words die as that morning his was going to take his niece out for doughnuts but found her bed empty. Elijah woke seeing Klaus standing in his doorway while Blake's cute little snores filled the air as she snuggled closer to her father.

"Goodmorning Niklaus, there was a storm last night." Elijah muttered voice heavy with sleep as Klaus frowned stepping into the bedroom. Blake woke yawning rubbing her eyes getting their attention.

"Morning little witch." Klaus said softly getting a sleepy smile from his niece and Elijah let Klaus take the girl to get her breakfast. After that night when ever there was a thunderstorm Blake would go find Elijah getting him to sit with her to watch Thor fight the thunder monster.
