SUMMARY: Takes place on Christmas Day. Nya wonders what life would be like if she never became a ninja. This was an abandoned plot, and since it takes place during Christmas, I added it here. Enjoy!

"Okay, that one is perfect." Cole snaps another picture of Lloyd and Jay under the tree, watching as it automatically prints out from the bottom. Giving the photo a little tug, he sets it down to develop, before snapping more.

Yawning, I cradle my mug in my hands, watching the guys mess around with their new gifts. I came down later since my alarm didn't go off and was quite surprised to see everyone well ahead of me, opening presents already, and even more surprised to see that there was nothing for me.

Had they seriously forgotten me, just like that?

"Look! Borg got me another headband!" Kai held up the piece of red fabric, "32 thread count!" Cole was toying with some new sketchbooks and art supplies, deep in his world. Zane had already stored away his presents and was busy in the kitchen.

I open my mouth to speak, "Hey, guys-"

Jay bursts into the room, holding a sack, "Guys! Time for Secret Santa!"

I participated this year and wound up receiving Kai of all people. I ended up buying him a hand-held mirror and some hair gel, in the hopes that he'd like it.

Everyone crashes onto the couch, and Lloyd nudges me, "Hey, you mind budging up a little? Thanks."

By 'budging up', I didn't think he'd mean to completely get pushed off the couch.

Jay hands out presents, and I stand aside, waiting for mine, bubbling with the excitement and curiosity of wondering who got me this year.

No one hesitated to wait and ripped open their gifts, giving gasps of delight at what they'd received. All of them but me.

I reach over and tap Jay's shoulder, "Hey, is there anything else in there?" He tips the bag upside down, and nothing comes out. Immediately Cole's face screws up with guilt, "I completely forgot! Nya, I am so sorry!"

How was I forgotten from everything?

"It's fine, I guess. Don't even worry about it." Voice wobbly, I plaster on a smile, before sprinting out into my room, crashing onto the bed.

I was forgotten. I know it sounds stupid and petty to be upset about something like this, but it really, truly hurts. I don't know if they meant to leave me out, or if it was a genuine mistake, but I've never felt more alone in life.

My eyes flutter closed, as I mumble to myself, "I wish I never came here in the first place..."

HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEH-

"Psst. Nya. Wake up!"

A cold hand placed on my shoulder jolts me awake, and I glance around, brushing hair away from my eyes, "What the...Nadakhan?!"

The man in question rolls his eyes, "No! I am your guide through your wish."

"What...what wish? What are you even doing here?"

He scoffed, "Psh! You humans and memory loss! You wished that you never came here in the first place, so I am guiding you through said wish. Now chop chop! We have a busy schedule!" Nadakhan grabs at my arm and pulls me out of the room, and down to the living room, "Wait...we're in the Bounty. It looks so plain!"

"Duh! I've taken you back right to the start when the ninja team was formed. Watch."

I see Kai talking with Wu. Well, at least his hair's still the same. "My sister said she's gonna keep out of...whatever this is, and stay at the shop."

"Hmm. Very well then. Hurry along, Kai, evil waits for no one."

"You got it, Sensei! And while we're at it, can I finally learn that twist-itsu thing that you were doing?"

"Spinjitzu!"

"Yeah, whatever, that!"

"Come along now." Nadakhan snaps his fingers, and we both disappear, before ending up in the common room of the Bounty, "Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, get back here!"

A girl with chestnut hair runs into the room, chasing after a little boy with blonde hair in a bowl cut. It's Lloyd!

"They had to hire a babysitter to watch over Lloyd when they were all on missions, since...you aren't here. Come, I want to show you something."

Snapping his fingers again, we end up in what seems to be the shared bedroom. It's later on in the day, evening at least, and I see Jay sat upright on his bed, scrolling through...Tinder?!

"You were never there for him to fall head-over-heels for, so this is what he's stooped to. It seems as if he has a thing for ravens." I lean over to peer at the screen, but the location changes, and suddenly we're at Ed and Edna's Scrap and Junk, where I see the guys battling with nindroids. 

"You remember when Jay and Cole were nearly squished by that...machine?"

"Yeah..." Oh no...

"It seems as if...there was nobody there to turn it off. I'll let you interpret the rest."

And that's it! I hope you have a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! As for this book...it'll go on up till the 31st of December, and then that's it!
