Chapter 13- Crush on the Enemy

Emma walked towards the large classroom as soon as the first bell rang. Tentatively, she opened the door and took a seat in the second row of desks, between Nina, Katie, and Liz right before the second bell rang. She spotted her teacher in front of the touchscreen board that reminded her of a large iPad. The teacher, Ms. Sereilus, began artfully teaching about the tragedies the enemy Warriors had caused. After that, she went through a quick synopsis of both previous Warrior leaders and what they had done.

After studying her enemy as a whole, the class focused on the main part.

"Since we have a special guest in our class for today, and the rest of the year," started Ms. Sereilus, "We will be focusing on learning about her Number 1 enemy for the rest of the class- Jake Isop."

Emma had to spend the two hours learning about Jake Isop. It seemed like he had a never-ending stream of talents and strengths. Just was she was beginning to feel hopeless, the page changed. There, up on the shining board, was a long list of Jake Isop's fatal flaws. Smiling triumphantly, Emma began to copy them down into her notebook. After that, she learned about his life history and the hardships he had to go through. After an hour, she didn't think she had ever known a person better that she had never met. Unfortunately, she didn't really think she could beat him either.

"And finally the moment you have all been waiting for," Ms. Sereilus began, trying to build up as much suspense as she could, "This is what Jake Isop looks like!"

Emma almost fainted.

If she thought fighting was going to be hard before, she had no chance of even stepping into the arena now. Jake Isop was probably the cutest boy she had ever seen. Her face began to flush, and he wasn't even actually there! She quickly diverted her eyes away from his blond hair, perfectly tanned skin, and piercing brown eyes. Suddenly, Emma couldn't concentrate for the rest of the lesson, which fortunately wasn't much. She didn't know whom to confront about the problem. After all, her mom wouldn't be pleased that she had already developed a crush on her supposed enemy on her first day.

Still, Emma found herself enjoying each day even more than the previous one. She was pretty surprised that school was very normal, except for learning content. But every once in a while, her thoughts would drift to the battle, and she would wonder how in the world she would be able to beat Jake. She was worried, and no matter what her friends told her, she could never stop fretting over it.

A/N: Yeah.. that's Jake! So... what did you guys think? Like it, hate it, make sure to comment! Like I said, this is one of my favorite chapters, so there are more. See y'all later! :)
