Evelyn and Aaleyah made inside their room and soon they prepare to go to bed. Aaleyah laid down on her bed and turned to face Evelyn who was leaned against the headboard and was busy checking on her phone.

"Evelyn," Aaleyah voiced softly to which Evelyn hummed in reply before looking at her. "Did you really punch Carson?" She asked in a chirpy tone. Evelyn simply nodded at her. Aaleyah eyes glistened in complete excitement and smilingly straightened up on her position. "You beat Nelson too then!" Evelyn nodded at her again. "How did you know that Nelson drugged Emilia?"

"I didn't know actually. I don't really know how Emilia is, but I was sure that she is not that type of person to be—you know, doing the naughty stuff," Evelyn shrugged off.

"Yup, Emilia isn't that type of girl," Aaleyah assured her.

"And I didn't like the way that guy was touching her," Evelyn said in tetchy tone. "I decided to take Emilia back to the dorm but that guy was not letting her go, I got pissed and grabbed him by his hair and accused him for drugging her." She added lazily.

"Honestly, I was not sure if he was the one who drugged her but those guys proved me right," Evelyn said under her frowning.

"You didn't even start your first day in college and yet everyone is talking about you already," Aaleyah said in an amused tone.

"I don't care what people talk about me." Evelyn drawled and rolled her eyes over.

"Damn girl, you give a tomboyish vibe, I'm already falling for you." Aaleyah teased giving her a wide slyish grin.

"I'm straight," Evelyn said under her chuckle.

"You are very beautiful, Evelyn. I saw many guys checking you out at the party." Aaleyah said and give her a sly look. "Do you have a boyfriend?" She asked.

"Yes, three of them, they are my life," Evelyn answered referring indirectly to her brothers.

"What!! Really!!" Aaleyah shot up from the bed and exclaimed in surprised.

"No, I'm talking about my brothers," Evelyn said and shuffled into sleeping position. Aaleyah rolled her eyes over before going back to her former position.

"So yes or no?"

"No, I don't do boyfriend-girlfriend things." Evelyn idled.

"So you were never in a relationship?" Aaleyah asked curiously.

"No,"

"You are one hard girl to fall in love!" Aaleyah said, narrowing her eyes at Evelyn. "I'm pretty sure that many guys have asked you out already," She said, making Evelyn to snort out loud in amusement. "What's so funny? Tell me too." Aaleyah said cheerfully.

"Nothing, goodnight, Aaleyah," Evelyn told and quickly cover her head with the duvet. Aaleyah face fell and pouted at her.

"I'll make sure that you'll be open to us one day, goodnight, my tomboy," Aaleyah chirped before switching off the lamp over the nightstand.

Evelyn was getting ready for college While Aaleyah was still on her bed, dreaming. She sighed looking at her before roughly pulling the cover away from Aaleyah's body.

"Wake up, Sunshine. If you don't get ready now, you'll be late for class." Evelyn said and threw the cover to the corner of the bed. Aaleyah let out a whinig noise as she shuffled on her bed and pushed herself to a sitting position.

"I'm sorry, I'm not a morning person. I missed five of my morning classes." Aaleyah said, stretching her arms wide and yawning in its all glory.

"I'm not surprised," Evelyn deadpanned before going to her table.

"But I like the way you called me Sunshine," Aaleyah said cheerfully before getting off from her bed.

"I'm never calling you that again," Evelyn deadpanned again but with an amused tone. Aaleyah simply rolled her eyes over before going inside the bathroom. Evelyn packed her books in her backpack and took out her student's ID from the drawer. She scanned through her ID—she was in section A.

"May I know your section, Aaleyah?" She asked out loud towards the bathroom.

"Section B," Aaleyah answered as she walked out from the bathroom. "What's yours?"

"A," Evelyn said under her sigh. Aaleyah turned towards her with wide eyes opened before giving her a dejected look.

"What! You are in A!" Cornelia barged in with a clear exclaimation mark in her expression. Evelyn nodded at her before regarding Emilia behind her.

"How are you feeling, Emilia?" Evelyn asked.

"I'm alright now, Eve," Emilia answered sweetly. "Thank you for saving me last night." She said sincerely.

"No, it was my fault. I shouldn't have dragged you along with me in the party," Evelyn said.

"No, it is not your fault, Eve." Emilia protested softly.

"Alright, that's no one's fault," Cornelia said impatiently and caught their attention towards her. "Evelyn, you are in section A." She said as she shook her head in disbelief.

"So," Evelyn said cocking her head.

"Regarding what happened last night, Genesis will not let you live you in peace. Evelyn if she does anything, you tell us, we will deal with them, you are one of us," Cornelia said and kept her hands on Evelyn's shoulder and gave her an assured gripped over it.

"Don't worry about me, I can handle them." Evelyn said, almost laughing. "We better go now, or we're going to be late," She informed glancing at her wristwatch.

After some minutes, they reached and stopped infront of a classroom door where Brian appeared immediately and greeted them with a huge grin. He then reached for Evelyn and hugged her tightly. Evelyn simply rolled her eyes over and shook off from his embrace but he didn't let her go.

"I know what you're thinking, Brian—but you are wrong, I'm in section A." Evelyn said making him pulled away quickly and looked at her. She simply shrugged off. "See you guys at lunch," She waved at them before turning on her heels towards the section A that was on the left wings of the building.

As she appeared on the door, all eyes landed on her. She glanced around and saw some familiar faces from last night but frowned immediately when she noticed Genesis who was already glaring at her with a taunting smirk. She rolled her eyes over and drifted her eyes elsewhere only to see the so-called Elites boys seated casually at the last two rows of the benches.

Why are all these screwed people packed in one place?  She scowled inwardly.

"Are you sure you're in the right classroom, New Girl?" Genesis asked, sitting relaxed in her position.

"Unfortunately, yes I am," Evelyn said jerking an eyebrow.

"Welcome to Inferno," Genesis said in a taunting tone making the others snickered a laughed at Evelyn.

"Thanks," Evelyn said cockily before going toward the empty seat beside a dark hair spectacle guy at the last corner end and settled down. Soon the lecturer entered, grabbing all the attention from Evelyn to him. He glanced around and when his eyes landed on Evelyn, he smile warmly at her.

"We have a new student here, why don't you come and introduce yourself to your classmates, Evelyn?" Mr. Hamitch tells and gestured her to come.

"I'll pass, Professor." Evelyn said making her professor shook his head in amusement.

"Come up, Evelyn," Mr. Hamitch urged giving her a pointed look. Evelyn gave him a glare before standing up from her seat and making her way to the front. Mr. Hamitch was her mother's close friend and had been her math's tutor during her middle school.

"My name is Evelyn and I'm from the Northern." Evelyn said in a robotic mode.

"Tell them more about you," Mr. Hamitch said amusedly.

"Professor," Evelyn said lowly under her gritted teeth.

"Students, Evelyn is a straight A student. If you need help in your subjects, you can approach her." Mr. Hamitch announced proudly.

"Don't do it coz I'm never helping and yes, I'm a selfish person." Evelyn drawled and rolled her eyes over.

"Very true," Genesis mocked. "And moreover, we don't need any help from you while we have the top nine students in our very class." She added giving her a fake painted smile.

"I am saved from the trouble then," Evelyn said with a lopsided smirked playing on her angelic feature. She then turned to Mr. Hamitch and  said, "Can I go back to my seat now, Professor?"

Mr. Hamitch gave her a nod in reply. Evelyn made her way to her seat and settled down.

"That was a nice introduction you gave there," The spectacle guy said looking at her. Evelyn regarded him in silence. The guy was charming and attractive. "I'm Russell Walker, your benchmate I guess," he said amusedly.

"Evelyn," She said shortly before turning away from him.

After the class, she went towards her locker that was lined on the hallway. She unlocked her locker and opened the door. As she was busy keeping and exchanging books, she felt a presence beside her.

"Hey, beautiful," Carson said leaning against the locker. Evelyn rolled her eyes over and closed her locker door with a loud sound of slam.

"So this is the girl who punched you last night and you fell for her already," A guy appeared beside Carson and checked her out from head to toe. "I like your introduction, Evelyn, so badass," he added pressing his words.

"This is Blake, my best friend," Carson said resting his hand over Blake's shoulder.

"Baby," Evelyn winced at the sudden sharp tone of a female voice appearing beside her. She turned her gaze to her side and saw Sharon stomping towards her direction, her glaring fixed at Evelyn.

"I'll see you later, Beautiful. C'mon, Blake, let's get out of here," Carson said before they both scurried away through the hallway. Sharon spared another glared at Evelyn as she scurried by and chased behind Carson.

"Are you really sassy or are you trying to act tough?" Keisha appeared beside her before going to her locker which was adjacent to Evelyn's locker and opened it.

"What do you think?" Evelyn asked jerking an eyebrow.

"Don't get too cocky, Evelyn or you won't be able to survive in this Inferno." Keisha warned with an uncanny smile. "Or should I say, you have already dug your own grave." She smirked and closed her locker door.

"I'm not one of you who put their mouth in every dick to survive hell." Evelyn retorted calmly making the hallway turned into dead drop silent and all eyes were on her but it didn't bother her in any way. "Correct me if I'm wrong," She shrugged off.

Keisha clenched her jaw tightly and glared at Evelyn. She wanted to retort back but nothing was coming up in her head for a comeback.

"Don't act all cool, New Girl, you don't know what you're getting yourself into." Genesis barked as she made her way towards Evelyn with her arms crossed over her chest. "You're new here. You don't know how things work in this college."

"You mean the Hierarchy of showing off your parents' money," Evelyn remarked.

"I think we have to teach you a lesson,"
