Jeffrey ducked his head out of the driver's window and shouted at her to get inside the bus. Evelyn rolled her eyes over and glared at him before making her way towards the minibus.

And as she got inside the bus, she frowned over at the sight. It was a ten-seater bus and the three single seats were occupied by Terrence, Kevin and Stephen. And the two seated were occupied by the others with only an empty seat left in the front beside Adrian.

"Sit beside me, Cupcake," Adrian taunted in a smirked and patted soundly over the sit with his hand.

"Or you wanna share a seat with me!" Mark prodded mockingly before sharing a laugh with Adrian while the others amused. He and Russell were seated right behind them. She glanced at the back and caught Nathan's eyes peering lazily into her. She threw him a bitter look before sitting down beside Adrian.

As soon as Jeffrey hit the gas and went off the road, Evelyn took out her earpiece and plugged it on over her ears. She closed her eyes and let her mind dwells in the music world. She always likes to listen to music while travelling.

"C'mon, Terrence, sing us a song," Mark said cheerfully passing the acoustic guitar to him. Terrence let out a chuckled before taking the guitar from him.

As Terrence began to strum on the '1D- One thing', the boys started to sing along and was enjoying on their own. Evelyn let out a sigh knowing that it was impossible to listen to music peacefully through the earpiece when they were as loud as a market fish. She plugged off her earpiece and simply listened to their singing. She couldn't help but compliment their good voices inside her head.

"Will you just relax and enjoy the ride?" Adrian said giving her a wolfish grin. Evelyn jerked an eyebrow at his changed behaviour.

"Evelyn!" She turned her head to her side when she heard Terrence calling out to her. "What's your favourite song?" Terrence asked warmly.

"I don't have one, I just listen randomly on Spotify," Evelyn answered in a shrug before turning away and looking to the front. 

Terrence regarded her for a second before turning to look at the boys and continued to sing with them. After some minutes, the ride became silent and peaceful with only a beautiful and calming musical piece encored by Terrence. Mark rested his head over Russell's shoulder and slept while Russell was over his head. Kevin was enjoying the sight looking through the window while Stephen was busy eating at the back. Nathan kept himself busy solving the Rubik's cube while William watched him solving it. Evelyn's head was rested over Adrian's shoulder, sleeping peacefully. Adrian didn't mind her instead he was enjoying looking down at her.

"After all, you are a girl," Adrian whispered amusedly and gently adjusted her head over his shoulder, placing her properly.

"Stop staring at her like that or you might actually fall hard for her," Mark teased in a croaked toned from behind. Adrian cranked his head behind before showing him the middle finger. Mark returned him the middle finger with a cheeky grin.

"Hey, guys, let's grab something," Jeffrey told out loud before pulling the bus at some distance from the convenience store.

Evelyn shuffled slightly feeling indifferent and opened her eyes. Then she quickly straightened up when she realized where her head was resting. She looked up at Adrian and regarded him for a moment before looking away.

"Did we reach already?" She asked and glanced back. Mark and Stephen burst out laughing looking at Evelyn, waking up Russell from his sleep.

"You look beautiful, Evelyn," Mark teased under his laugh.

William shook his head as he stood from his seat and strolled towards Evelyn. "Let's get you clean," William told softly, tapping his finger on her cheeks.

Evelyn creased her brows and look at her face through her phone screen. The moment she saw what happened to her face, she grew furious and glared at Adrian who was holding his stomach and was laughing soundlessly beside her.

"The Sun and Moon have finally found their perfect spot." Adrian mocked under his laugh. Evelyn huffed in complete annoyance and fisted her hands.

"Very childish, Adrian," She growled before walking out of the bus.

Evelyn went towards the open public washing sink and stood for a moment before curving down to wash her face. She blabbered cursed words as she splashed the water on her face.

"Here," William came beside her and offered her a hand towel. Wordlessly, Evelyn took the towel from him and wiped it over her face.

"Is the drawing still there?" Evelyn asked looking up at him.

"Some," William said and pointed his finger over his cheekbone. Evelyn pouted and began to rub the towel over her cheekbone, but she was not getting it correctly. William chuckled amusedly before taking the towel from her and gently rubbed over her cheekbone, wiping the marker ink away. Evelyn couldn't help but admire his charismatic eyes as he wiped her cheek.

"It's all done now," William said smiling at her. "You are back to being beautiful." He added.

"Thank you, William," She thanked him sincerely with a smile.

"C'mon, let's grab something to eat, we still got halfway to travel," William told and Evelyn nodded at him.

As they got inside the convenient store, Evelyn made her way to the fridge and took out a can sprite. She unsealed the metal cap like a dude and drank it down. William looked at her in amusement before taking out an orange juice from the fridge.

"Slow down, Cupcake," Adrian said and did a push over her head. Evelyn jerked forward, nearly hitting her head over William's chest. She snapped her head and gave a murderous glared at Adrian before crashing the empty can between her fist.

"Woah, you're strong, Evelyn," Stephen popped out from the aisle with hands full of chips, biscuits and chocolates. He gave her his usual grin which was as sharp as a knife and walked towards the counter.

"Adrian, if you dare touch my head again, I'll kill you!" Evelyn threatened angrily before throwing the crashed can on the dustbin. Adrian made a mocking noise and raised his both hands in surrender. She glared at him for some second before walking into one of the aisles. She knew that if she stays with him a second longer, she might actually punch him which will give her inner peace, but she restrained it from doing so.

Since they're out for a group project, Evelyn thought it would be best if she avoids getting into a fight with the boys. And moreover, Adrian's act was out of childishness and it's a waste to lose her temper over such petty things. But He and Mark never ceased to get on her nerve just like those drama queens. She just hoped that she doesn't murder any of them before returning to college.

Evelyn stood by the shelves of cup noodles and scanned for her favourite flavour. In the process of scanning, she untied her hair to do a proper bun which was already ruined by Adrian when he shoved her head.

Nathan appeared beside her and ran his eyes on the flavours of cup noodle. Evelyn gave him an unimportant glance before pulling her hair into a low ponytail. She waited for him to say something stupid and get on her nerves but nothing happened. Nathan reached for a cup of noodles and simply left without a word. Evelyn frowned staring at his back. She could sense that Nathan was upset with her, and she wonders why that bothers her. She should be happy that he is being quite at least but deep inside; his silence kind of bothers her.

Evelyn got what she was looking for with only one piece left and quickly left the place. She went to the counter and glanced around only to see that boys had already left the store and was now waiting for her on the bus. The counter lady soaked her noodles with hot water and passed it to her.

As Evelyn walked out of the convenience store, some guys came in front of her making her stopped on her track.

"Excuse me, you guys are on my way," Evelyn said nonchalantly darting between the guys. They were five of them covered in tattoos wearing matching sleeveless leather jackets. They seemed like hoodlums to her.

"You're hot, girl, wanna go for a ride?" One of the guys snickered and gestured his head towards the motorbikes that were parked in line beside the convenience store.

"Why don't you just get out of my way before you pissed me off?" Evelyn told in a bitter tone.

"Let's see what a little girl like you can do damage!" The guys mocked with a smirked before grabbing her noodles from her hand and throwing it on the floor.

"That was my favourite flavour and that was the last piece in here," She growled and threw a punch at the guy. "—and you dare threw it away," She seethed and kicked him on the stomach. The guy let out a groaned and coughed out loud clutching on his stomach. The four guys charged at once, making her eyes go wide for a moment before she took her stance and engaged in fighting with them.

Jeffrey impatiently tapped his fingers on the steering wheel before ducking his head out to look for Evelyn's returned. He caught sight of some guys fighting in front of the convenience store but the moment he noticed Evelyn between them, his eyes went wide in shock. 

"Guys, Evelyn's got in trouble," Jeffrey shouted as he quickly opened the door and rushed towards the scene. 

Jeffrey threw a punch at the guy who just hit Evelyn to the ground. The hoodlums took sight of the boys rushing towards them and quickly retrieved back to their bikes and rode off. Adrian cursed out loud at their backs and angrily kicked on the ground.

"You alright, Evelyn," William crouched down and held her up to her feet.

"Ah—they ruined my favourite noodles," Evelyn gritted out looking at the noodles scattered on the ground. "This was the last piece,"

"You just got your ass beaten up by those hoodlums and you worry about your damn noodles," Nathan scolded her with a cold glare. "Why didn't you call out for us? What if they bit you up and take you away?" He nearly shouted at her.

"Why would I call out for you? I'm not some kind of damsel in distress; I could have beaten all those bastards if you guys didn't chase them away." She shouted glaring at Nathan.

"Yeah, if we didn't come, they would have done more damaged to you," Nathan said sarcastically before turning away from her and cursed out loud. Evelyn glared at his back for a moment before storming towards the washing sink.

Nathan turned back only to find her missing. He frowned over before strolling inside the store.

"Nathan seemed to have a thing for her right now. Did you guys see the worry in his face?" Stephen pondered in wide eyes opened.

"No," Adrian denied before strolling towards Evelyn.

Adrian stood beside her and grabbed on her arm, turning her gently to face him. Evelyn shoved her arm away from his hold and glared up at him.

"Are you happy now to see me in bruises?" she asked bitterly.

Adrian winced at her harsh words before giving her a pointed look, "Of course not! I like to see you without bruises on your beautiful face." He said making her gaped at him. He took the wet towel from her hand and gently pressed it over her corner lips.

"I can do it myself," She protested and tried to snatch the towel from him but Adrian dodged it away and gave her a pointed look. She couldn't help but glared at him as he caressed her bruised lips. This was surprising for her to see him caressing her with concern looks.

"Cupcake, you might be thinking that we hate each other but know this, I don't hate you—none of us does. I just like to play with you, it's fun seeing you all riled up in anger." Adrian told softly in amused.

"Am I a play toy for you?" She remarked bitterly.

"Of course not! The thing is- you look cute when you get angry." Adrian said under his chuckled and gently rubbed his thumb over her cheek. Evelyn cleared her throat awkwardly and looked away from him.

"Can you stop talking softly to me? It kind of pisses me more," Evelyn threw a glare at him before walking past him. Adrian noticed her being uncomfortable and let out a hearty chuckled before following her back.

"Are you afraid that you might actually fall for me if I continue talking softly to you, Cupcake?"
