Delta's death had it hard on us all, but it had hit Alu and Sage the hardest. Those two girls had known him as a kind and protective father, but they were worried what we would do without an elder. Autumn died and now Delta followed suit, who knows which of us will die next.

I stayed as a wolf, going out for patrols and helping Tobias with the hunting while the girls stayed huddled in a corner, crying their eyes out. Dylan was helping Journey with the funeral part of it all.

"Ash, are you alright? You haven't shifted back since we headed home from our scouting mission." Smash asked me, sitting with his legs crossed next to my white wolf form.

"I'm alright, just a little paranoid that the rogues haven't tried anything since we lost Autumn." I admitted, shutting off all mindlinks with everyone but Dylan. I am paranoid about when this supposed war was supposed to start, we just lost a member of the pack and nothing has happened yet.

A howl is heard outside, many howls follow it. What could be out there? I thought. The foul stench of rogues makes its way into the cave, and I now know what is out there: an army of rogues lead by one wolf. Silver, the Rogue.

"Will the Luna of the pack that is a disgrace to all wolves come out here? My pack has something we wish to disgust!" Silver yelled into the cave, laughing an evil cackle.

Dylan looked over at me and then to Silver, who was outside the cave, and walked out there. I follow him out, keeping an eye on The Rogue. I couldn't believe that the day after Delta died, Silver was here with a whole army of ferocious rogues! I growl at a rogue who was too close to Dylan and it stepped back, Silver chose that moment to grab me by my scuff and throw me in the heart of the rogue army.

My nose was burning, the feral stench being so strong that it actually hurt to breath. I could barely hear Dylan and the rest of my pack yelling, the rogues around me growl so loud its all I can hear clearly. One of the rogues swipe at me and I'm forced to move back to avoid the claws, only to run into another rogue and that one bites my tail. I snap and growl as much as I can to get the rogues farther away but all they do is come closer and closer. These rogues wanted a peice of me, literally.

"Ash! Get out of there, now!" Dylan yelled through our private mindlink. My problem was that I couldn't get out from the circle of rogues.

"I'm trapped! There's like 900 rogues surrounding me!" I yelled back, using our mindlink. "I don't think I can get out!"

"Then I'm coming to get you!" He yelled, muting our mindlink. I saw Dylan coming towards me, rogues trying to bite him but he kept slicing through each one that tried with a katana that I have no clue how he got.

[I have no clue how he would've gotten it anyways, but I like the added humor XD]

Dylan sliced through the last rogue that was in his way, I saw Silver just staring with her mouth open. She probably was amazed by how he got a katana. Dylan then tossed me a pair of short shorts and a tank top, I shifted to my human form and put the clothes on. It felt good to be a homosapien again.

"Ash! Dylan! Get out of there!" I heard Alu, aka Samantha, yell. I grabbed Dylan's hand and he led me out of the rogue circle and to the mouth of the cave.

"Thank Lunar you two are alright!" Sage said, giving me a bear hug. The others did that same and then turned to Silver, growling.

"Well, I guess the Alpha here needs his mate way more than I thought. Wasn't it weird knowing that Delta was your father and that Autumn was your mother? You weren't even supposed to be the alpha couple! Sammy and Toby were!" Silver laughed.

"Silver, how about you go one on one with me? The winner gets to be the Alpha." I challenged, looking her straight in the eye.

"Then the loser loses their life." She fired back.

"Deal."

"Get ready to die, little luna."

"Silver, you are such a little bitch. You know that, right?" I told her, getting a growl in return.
