Ash's pov

Vampires. The evil, blood sucking freaks of the supernatural world. Tobias and Alu were demon, vampire, and wolf. Dylan was demon, wolf, and had so little vampire in him that it won't manifest. The rest of us, however, are only wolf, as far as we know. These vampires, unlike the ones in Twilight and other vampire movies, were not meant to exist. They are killing machines, bent on slaughtering every single wolf, even if that wolf is considered a god or goddess.

It all happens in a flash: Dylan and Delta being slammed to the wall by one vampire; Alu and Tobias being tackled down to the ground by two female vampires; Smash, Sage, and Autumn being choked by three male vampires; Journey being thrown into another room by a vampire; me being pinned to a wall by the throat by a female vampire.

"Who here is vampire? Who here is wolf? Who here is demon? Who here is The Nine." The vampire pinning me to the wall says, showing her sharp fangs.

"Let them go! Take me instead, Illythia! They have nothing you need or want!" Alu yells.

"Why should I, Samantha? I could just kill this little she-wolf and suck her dry, my childlings can suck the rest dry." Illythia said, moving her grip from my throat to my shoulders, getting closer to my neck with her fangs.

"Illythia, her blood is poisoned. Silver had tainted it, the rogue Queen silver, and you cannot harm any of us!" Alu said, trying to get free.

It was too late. Illythia had sunk her fangs in my neck, I winced at the bite. I started shaking, the vampire biting harder, and something churning in my heart. I writhed in her grip, trying to get the fangs out of my neck and get her away from me. Black dots surrounded mh vision, but I wasn't going down without a fight.

I bit a vampire. I tasted the disgusting blood on my tongue, felt the cold liquid drip down my chin, smelled it surrounding me.

I was then released, falling to the ground. An ear piercing scream sounded, the vampire who had sunk a set of fangs in me started to puke up blood. Black blood. I crawled over to the others, the rest of the vampires went to help their friend. I then helped the guys get free, who in turn kill the vampires, and Alu and Sage helped me get up stairs.

"Why does all this shit.happen to me?" I ask to no one in particular.

I'm placed on a bed, covered by what seems like twenty blankets, and Alu sits down next to me.

"I am so sorry this had to happen, Ash. Illythia doesn't listen, none of them do. You bit a vampire, survived a bite from one, and drank a vampire's blood. All that is extremely dangerous, for any creature!" Her voice rises in volume.

"Al... please just shut up and bandage my neck up and get me some water?" I ask her.

Alu then stands up and grabs a medical kit from the bathroom. Everything was spinning, little black dots speckled my vision, and the smell of blood didn't help. Had I really bit a vampire?

"How is Luna Ash doing? She looks as pale as a vampire!" I heard someone say, not bothering to see who it was.

Cold started creeping in, the bite mark on my neck ached, and I closed my eyes. I could tell that it was Delta talking, and I nodded. It hurt so much that I groaned while nodding, someone gasped. I opened my eyes, sat up the best I could, and saw a vampire with lavender eyes, dark blue hair, and bright red lips. Her lavender eyes were almost out of their sockets at the sight of me.

"Her body is fighting off the venom from the bite fairly well, but she may be a hybrid after this. Diamond bit the vampire, drank its blood, and survived." Alu said.

"How is that possible? I've heard of wolves that could withstand my kind's venom, but to drink our blood and survive? No wolf, or creature except my own, is able to do that!" The vampire girl said, keeping her eyes on me.

"She's not just any wolf of The Nine, she gets visions and secludes herself usually when her mate's busy. She almost killed Autumn, as well. Her body is human, yet her soul is wolf, and she's the only white wolf in existence." Alu told the vampire.

"Human body, wolf soul, almost killed the one who created humans, and is the last white wolf ever. Maybe she isn't like the pack, like a special breed?"

"Thats impossible! She's become Karma, while fighting Illythia! She isn't like us because she cares about humans and wolves the same, she's also very protective of us all."

"I've watched Ms. Ash for a very long time, and she is like a mother with her sisters and doesn't ask for help. She's an independant person, most likely a lone wolf before she met Jason, and she can get through this . . . transformation . . . and get back to normal. If anything else changes with her state, if it changes for the worse, get me straight away. Good luck, may the Moon Goddess be with you all." And with that, the lavender eyed vampire left.

I had a vampire stalker? Or was she my protector? Or maybe my guardian? Well, whatever she was I didn't need, or want, her help. She is right though, I will get through this in one piece. Nothing about me will change, not even what I am. Whatever happens to me, the pack and every single human will be safe. After this, I will kill every vampire that has harmed us. No matter what!

It's been weeks now. The lavender eyed vampire girl comes and goes, checking in on me and telling Alu and Dylan what to do to help me.

"She needs something that my kind drinks." The vampire girl says to Alu, keeping an eye on Dylan.

"If your talking about blood, we can have you get some from a stray human who has too much information on the supernatural?" Dylan asks, taking a step closer to me.

My color has been slowly coming back, the bite mark on my neck is more like a battle scar now, and I've noticed that everyone has been acting different when they come to ask me questions.

The vampire girl takes a small sippy cup out of her bag, I keep my eyes on her and growl lowly. There is no way I'm drinking blood. That is gross, unhumane, and downright against everything humanity has to offer. Dylan sits next to me on the bed and starts to play around with my fingers, he always does that when he's holding my hand these days. It soothes me and i measily just sit there glaring at the vampire girl who is talking with Alu in hushed voices.
