Lucy never enjoyed taking Joshua out for a walk. She hated outdoors.

The kid played with the toys he brought with himself near the bench she sat on, texting her countless friends.

"Lucy, would you please play with me?" Joshua asked her in a timid voice.

"Listen boy, I have told you like a billion times not to vex me with your silly questions," Lucy said with a grunt, furious at being distracted, "why won't you understand?"

"I am bored!" Joshua exclaimed.

"Hey why don't you go talk with your imaginary friends?" Lucy suggested, in all seriousness.

"I don't have any imaginary friends." Joshua replied, confused.

"Then just go and do whatever you feel like doing and leave me the fu...dge alone." Lucy said agitatedly, careful not to cuss in front of Joshua.

She remembered the time she was caught saying the f-word in the presence of Joshua by Paul and shivered at the thought of him losing his temper.

"Bad Lucy." Joshua declared and went back to playing with his toys.

"Yeah sure." Lucy said, turning her undivided attention to the device in her hand.

"Whoah! Really?" The person on the other end of the call asked.

"Yeah!" Lucy chuckled.

"Girl you are crazy." Stated the person on the phone, "He must have thought you are a whore or something!"

"Oh Gosh!" Lucy said in distress, "What have I done." For the first time in her entire life, she was slightly serious with some guy.

Lucy got too caught up in the conversation and forgot completely about Joshua.

She didn't notice as he threw the ball across the bushes and went to fetch it.

The guy in the black sedan, parked just outside the boundary fence, was watching their every move.

He watched as the kid and the chick entered the park and made their way to a bench. He saw her settling her cute ass on the wooden seat and the boy arranging his toys on the ground. He saw the kid approaching the girl and her sending him away. He saw her engrossed in her phone. He saw him throwing the ball over the bushes and coming to get it.

Now was his chance.

Not that he was afraid of her or something, he just didn't want any drama. Unwanted attention was not good for him.

Joshua picked up his ball and was returning to Lucy when he heard footsteps from behind.

"Hey kiddo, would you like some ice cream?" A guy dressed in faded jeans and a Sponge Bob T-shirt, asked him.

"My mom said not to take anything from strangers." Joshua answered.

He was taken aback by the confidence of the boy, he didn't even look a little bit scared of him which hurt his ego tremendously.

Must be because of his silly attire.

"Uh... then maybe we can be friends?" The guy tried again, "What's your name?"

"My mom said not to talk to strangers." Joshua replied.

"That bitch." The guy mumbled to himself.

"Bitch is a bad word." Joshua stated.

"What! Is your mom gonna spank me now?" The guy mocked him, "I would very much like that."

Joshua was puzzled, "I don't like you and I don't want to be your friend." He said.

"Hey! Where ya think you are goin' huh?" The guy stopped him before he could leave, "You are coming with me."

"No, I am... " Joshua was saying but a hard hand was placed on his lower face and he immediately lost consciousness.

The guy put the kerchief back in his pocket. He carried the limp body of the kid to his car and threw it in the backseat, along with many empty beer cans and granola bar wrappers.

Well that was easy!
