The Party
~Gregory's POV~
The night seemed to drag on as I laid in my bed. It's really all a blur really with everything swimming around in a sea of nothingness. Strangely enough I almost find it relaxing, I heard sobbing coming from the wall. Mother must be crying again- getting up out of bed I made my way to my bedroom door. This normally happened as she was mostly looking at something that belonged to him and such that made her start crying again. But what was really bother was what grandfather mentioned earlier. "If my name is ever used for something terrible will you do me a favor and get revenge for me," he smiled and hugged me. What does he mean, does he know more than what he leads on.
Opening the door to see mother sitting upright in her bed holding a picture frame as tears streamed down her face. Sighing I climbed up onto the bed and took the picture frame as she fainted due to the exhaustion that kept her awake many nights. Tucking her into the warm blankets I climbed off the bed and went back to my room and crawled into my own blankets and finally drifted off to sleep.

The warm sun rays came through my curtains and woke me awhile ago as I could hear mothers soft breathing through the thin walls in this little house. Getting up and dressing into the same outfit as yesterday- I like the style and feeling so I have multiple pairs- and made sure that my messy blonde hair was straightened before I left my room. Walking towards my door I heard the doorbell ring, I didn't hear any movement from mother's room so I guess I was answering it. Walking to the front door I faintly saw the top of grandfather's head. So he came to wake mother up and head to work as well.
(A/N: A little backstory for readers William Afton in the first ever book and in FNAF sister location has him as the actual technician of the animatronics so he is the manager and technician in this story so usually Gregory and Mariah go with him to have some bonding time)
With everything going on in my head I opened the door to see grandfather standing there smiling, "morning Gregory is your mother up because I have to head to work soon." I shock my head, "nope but I was going to get her up-" he patted my head and walked right in, he seemed more cherry than usual. "Nah, I'll get your mother up you just have breakfast and do your regular morning routine," he chuckled as he walked down the little hallway to mother's room. Walking into the kitchen I pressed the button for the coffee machine and got my cereal that was accidentally left out due to yesterday's events. Pouring myself a bowl of cereal I placed my bowl on the table and pulled the milk out of the fridge.
"Oh honey I could've gotten you that," the melody of mothers voice sounded behind me. Turning my head I saw mother fully dressed as grandfather was reading something off the little booklet he usually carried around. "Nah, I'm a big boy now mom I can do it by myself," I said with a cherry smile before mother came over and kissed the top of my head. Grandfather closed the little orange book and placed it on the kitchen table as mother handed him a cup of hot coffee. "So Gregory do you wanna help me set up for your friends birthday party until the guest arrives," grandfather asked as he place two pieces of bread into the toaster. "Dad, you know having too much toast can harm your health," mother scolded grandfather- for some reason grandfather loved toast and I mean a lot of toast. "I can't help loving it like when you were little you'd always ask for corn-dogs even though it was breakfast," grandfather chuckled as I watched mothers face go red.
This is how it should be always, a happy family, joking around with each other and creating memorable memories. Grandfather ruffed my blonde hair and reached into the fridge for the strawberry jam that we don't use all that much. Being the only child to mother I don't really like having peanut and butter with strawberry jam as much as the next kid on the block. "Okay is everybody ready to go," grandfather asked as I placed my bowl in the sink and smiled as mother finished her coffee as well. He chuckled as mother grabbed her purse and ran to her room for some reason. "Your mother forgot the birthday present for Mike, Gregory," grandfather said as I looked up at him. He must've caught on with my stare.

[I'm lazy right now to write all the details about the vehicle ride there]
Getting out of grandfather's vehicle I saw the tall one story building known as Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. Smiling I walked to the doors met with Grandfathers friend who co-manage the place, Scott Cawthon. He seems young but not the type of young that would surprise you. Last time I checked he was 47 years old while grandfather was in his early 50's. Scott has a son but due to everything going on his son wants to wait to start a family which makes Scott sad, so he spoils me sometimes as well. He's fun to hang around and spend the hours of grandfather working with him. "Well looks like the champ is going to surprise his star friend today, huh," he said with a goofy grin. He was always around kids so it was expected from him to act childish and like a clown almost.
"Yup, oh Grandpa Scott have you seen my plushie of Fredbear that you gave me awhile back cause I can't find it at my house," I asked as he smiled. "You left it at my house the other day and here is Fredbear," he said as he pulled the Fredbear plushie out from behind his back. He handed me the Fredbear plushie and I smiled. Scott turned to my mother and started talking to her while I started to look around and find out where grandfather went while I was busy talking to Scott. Hearing some foul language come from the storage room, I figured out that's where grandfather was at while I was talking to Scott. Walking towards the storage room I saw grandfather place a Freddy suit onto the table.
"Grandpa are you alright?" I ask in a small voice. He stopped what he was doing and looked over at me. "Just a little cleaning up that's all," he said with a smile. He turned more over to me and I let him pick me up and set me up on the table with Freddy. The stupid pink blush on their cheeks didn't make sense in all matters. "So what's on your mind champ?" he asked while he grabbed a tool from out of his tool box at the side of the table. "I wanted to know more about this prophecy you mentioned yesterday. It's been going through my thoughts without no end to the possibilities what you mean, grandpa," I sighed as Grandfather dropped the tool onto the floor. With a slight chuckle he turned his head to me, "you got those brains of those from me and your Grandmother, but I guess your at the age where it's safe to tell you a few things that many parents are uncomfortable talking about to their kids."
I raised an eyebrow as grandfather pulled a chair from the corner of the room and placed the chair in front of me. He sat down and sighed, "Many people in this world are evil and cruel, Gregory. Last week my Social Security Card was stolen from my wallet in my locker while I was working along with a few credit cards that were under my name. I have had recent accounts that I have on the internet hacked and even disbanded because of the content that the evil person posted on those sites. If anyone approaches you saying they are me, don't believe them and yell out 'stranger danger', alright." I nodded my head as grandfather patted my head as he stood up again.

The party was starting as Mike and his parents arrived. I had a bad feeling about today and I don't like it one bit. Walking over to Mike he ran up to me and showed me his Foxy plushie in front of my face. "I can't wait to see my favorite pal aren't you feeling the same Gregory," he smiled as he somewhat danced around me flinging Foxy around. "Yeah, grandpa said that Foxy was ready for your birthday party and I knew he did it just for you. I was so happy grandpa got Foxy ready for you and our friends," I said with a smile as Mike giggled a little giggle before stopping in front of the main stage.
Our other friends started showing up and setting gifts on a table and running about seeing the mascots perform for everyone. Sighing I looked over to Felix and Mike watching them talk and enjoy the time of chatter. "Micheal it's time to open presents," his mother called him as we all gathered around the gift table excited to see what he had got from others. He first opened up mine with a rip of tape and wrapping paper, he pulled out the newest edition of the Foxy plushie with the disgusting pink blush on the cheeks. Though being completely white with little pink it wasn't a bad version of Foxy the Pirate Fox. The next gift was from Stacey who sat excitedly on the floor waiting for Mike to open her gift. There from the wrapping paper was a coloring book full of pirate adventures.
More or less Mike was a huge pirate fan and so wasn't Andrew which on some weekends those two would play pirates all the time. Sometimes they would invite me to be the captain due to my quick thinking and problem solving. The next gift that Mike reached for was Felix's gift. With messy wrapping paper over the object, Mike managed to unwrap the gift to only reveal a backpack with pirate imprints all over it. With rush Mike reached for the next gift on the table as he reached for Brandy's present. Unwrapping it with quick movements he pulled a pop-up reading book about pirates from the pile of colorful wrapping paper. Of course mostly the gifts would be pirate theme'd. There were only three more gifts left on the table I knew one was from Andrew and Mike's parents but the third was very mysterious.
I saw in the corner of my eye grandfather glaring at the suspicious gift on the table, neatly wrapped purple with a red ribbon on top. For just a glance our eyes met but I could hear the excitement as Mike opened Andrew's present where it was a full set of pirate accessories and more. Two down on the table as Mike picked up his parent's gift and opened it with energy enough to say he had too much sweets. School supplies littered his hands full of pirate imprints. Now was the time for the mysterious gift that was sitting so innocently on the table. Biting my lip I watch as Mike picked it up and examine it for a glance over the room then to the purple wrapped present. Carefully he opened the gift as a cardboard box was left from the purple wrapping paper.
"Honey, whose gift is that from," I heard Mike's mother whisper to Mike's father. "I don't know, sweetheart," he answered as Mike opened the cardboard box. Only a few seconds passed before Mike screamed and dropped the box onto the floor. Grandfather moved faster than people his age would move and picked up the box and gritted his teeth, "Scott called the police someone broke in last night." After that everything else was a blur~ or so I thought.......
