In the coming days we done a photoshoot for Vogue announcing our engagement but before that we told family and friends and they were all so happy for us, it was so exciting looking at wedding magazines, venues and honeymoon destinations.

I sit on the couch in a white crop top and Sebastian's joggers looking at venues on my computer, Sebastian comes home from the gym and kisses my head on the way to the shower.

We agreed not to have an engagement party and book a venue if we see one we liked, that night in bed we looked at possible venues in New York. We see a huge Manor that we liked and I emailed for a viewing. We luckily got a slot to go visit on the weekend and we instantly fell in love with the place, I could see it all decorated for our big day. Before leaving we sat down with the wedding planner and she booked our wedding for four weeks time!

In the coming weeks I was dress shopping for myself and bridesmaids and also helping Sebastian with his suit. I was on FaceTime a lot with my family helping them with their outfits to match the theme of the wedding. I spoke with the wedding planner every other day and I was totally in my element, Sebastian would watch in awe every time we went to the venue to finalise the final touches - he wanted our big day to be perfect and I could have whatever I wanted at his expense.

A week before the wedding I find my perfect dress and i'm overcome with emotions as I look at myself in the mirror then turn around to show my mother who had flew into New York with the rest of my family a few days prior. I put on jewellery and accessories that match my dress and confirm which ones I want before getting changes back into my clothes and going to the register to paying the balance. The girl behind the register tells me everything is payed for and I can collect everything in 72 hours, I look confused and hear someone clearing their voices. I turn around and see my dad stood by the entrance smiling "It's tradition for the father to pay for the wedding but since you never let me do that the least I could do was pay for your dress. I can't wait to see you wearing it". Tears fall down my cheeks as I hug my dad tightly, he holds back the tears and rubs my back. "You'll always be my little girl, I love you". "I love you too dad".
