Hi guys!!! So I am revising the way I'm writing this book. So this chapter will include what was already written, and many of you have read already. But at the end of this chapter, more is added. And it's important stuff!! So please make sure to read the end! Even if you've already read the first bit of this. (Hopefully this makes sense haha)

"Lottie!" Louis knocked on his sister's bedroom door angrily. "There's still boxes all over the floor. That wasn't the deal when I said you could move in. You've lived here three months now!"
Lottie huffed and finished tying her long blonde hair in a bun and opened the door. "Sorry Lou, I'm gonna get to it I promise! I have to get to ballet now though, I can't be late."
Louis sighed, and softened a little. "Lotts.. they're overworking you. How do you even have time for your other classes?"
"Dance is most of my credits Lou. I knew I was getting into that when I made dance my major." She said, putting her coat on and swinging her dance bag over her shoulder.
"Just.. make sure you're taking care of yourself, yeah?" He responded with a sigh. He'd always been protective of his baby sister.
"Yeah, yeah. I will, I promise" She smiled tiredly. "And I promise I'll finish unpacking this weekend! After the performance tonight I have a few days without class."
Louis rolled his eyes and nodded. "I'm holding you to that promise." He said firmly, a hint of sass in his voice.
Lottie laughed as she left the flat, "The performance is tonight at 7! Don't be late!" She called over her shoulder, slamming the door behind her.
Louis sighed, he loved his sister, and he wanted to support her. But damn, sitting through a two hour ballet sounded horrible. But, being the supportive brother he was, he agreed to go.
Louis was a true family man. He put family before anything. In fact, that's why Lottie even moved in with him three months ago in the first place. Louis was attending Uni at the Wimbleton College of Arts, studying film. It was his final year, and when Lottie told him she would be attending there as well to study dance, he offered to let her live at his flat rent free, while she got on her feet. She was only a first year, but he at least wanted to help for the remaining time he was there.
The only downside to her living with him, was Niall. Niall, his best friend, and flat mate, had the biggest crush on Lottie. And while Louis loved them both, he definitely felt like a bit of a third wheel sometimes with all the flirting.
But oh well. All he wanted was for them to be happy.
That's all he ever wanted really.
To make his loved ones happy.
"Niall, are you serious?" Louis whispered, with wide eyes watching as the blonde beside him pulled a beer out of his backpack. "At a ballet?"
"Gotta have something to keep me entertained when Lottie isn't on stage" He smirked, and Louis rolled his eyes.
"Lord, you're disgusting." He muttered, with a sigh as the lights went down. He actually kind of wished he had a beer too, or at least a snack or something. He really didn't want to sit through this.
That is, until the most beautiful dancer he'd ever seen gracefully entered the stage. He was tall, lean and even from Louis' seat he could see this dancer had the perfect jawline. And his hair, his long brown hair was up in a bun. His body was amazing, his thighs thick and muscular, waist petite, and shoulders broad, but yet delicate at the same time. He was completely taken away by how beautiful he was.
"Ni?" he whispered, turning to his best friend. "Do you know him? Have you seen him before?" He asked, desperately hoping he knew him. He wanted a chance to talk to the beautiful boy.
"No, I've never seen him before why?" Niall asked, looking at Louis and immediately bursting into a fit of giggles.
"What?" Louis hissed.
"Your face! You're practically drooling over that guy" Niall giggled, trying to keep quiet but he'd never been very good at that.
"Oh for gods sake Niall!" Louis huffed, elbowing him before turning his attention back to the stage, where the beauty danced, and Louis had to have this boy. He had to.
---
After the performance, Louis couldn't get to Lottie any faster. "Lotts! Who was the boy with the solo at the beginning?" He asked, and Lottie was taken aback a little at how energetic he was.
"Umm first, thanks for letting me know how well I did" She muttered, her tone laced with sass.
Louis blushed, "sorry. You did great," He replied quickly. "The boy? Who is he?"
Lottie laughed, "Got a bit of a crush do ya?"
Louis glared, and crossed his arms.
"Alright, alright. His name's Harry. He's on his second year. He's majoring in dance as well. Did you want me to introduce you? He's a sweetheart." She replied, excited her brother was actually showing interest in someone. He was so used to rejection, that he really never tried anymore.
"Is he... um" Louis started.
"Yes, he's gay." Lottie smiled, "And I promise, he's a sweetie. He's not going to hurt you."
Louis nodded softly, getting a bit nervous, but he was excited. He hadn't felt this way about someone in a long time, and he hadn't even had a proper conversation with him.
Lottie led him back to the dressing room, and just as she was about to open the door, a tall clumsy figure opened the door whacking Louis with it in the process. "Oops!" He quickly reached out to him, grabbing his arm.
"Hi." Louis blushed. This boy was even prettier up close. He was in awe at the way his curls hung at his shoulders no longer in a bun. And his eyes, his eyes were this shiny emerald green, framed with dark thick lashes. But his lips, his lips really got Louis. They were pink, and plump and Louis wanted them all over his neck, and now. He barely even knew this boy, and he was already whipped.
"Oh my gosh, is your nose okay?" The gorgeous green-eyed boy asked, as Louis' nose was slightly bleeding from being hit with the door.
Louis didn't respond at first, just looking up at Harry, his mind blanking as he got all nervous. He didn't even realize his nose was bleeding.
"Oh shit you're bleeding," Harry frowned, "C'mon." He lightly grabbed Louis' arm and pulled him into the dressing room, which was more like a long hall of chairs and mirrors, with makeup and costumes strewn about. Lottie and Niall trailed behind them, giggling a little to themselves at how nervous Louis seemed.
Louis stayed quiet for the longest time, as Harry forced him to sit in one of the chairs and held a tissue to Louis' nose. His hands were warm. Gentle. Louis loved it.
"I'm so sorry, I get so clumsy sometimes" Harry rambled, "I need to pay more attention to where I'm going."
Louis smiled a bit, finally responding. "It's fine," He giggled, "And you can't be that clumsy. You danced beautifully on stage."
Now it was Harry's turn to blush and get nervous, "Really? I... I messed up so bad in the middle.." he cleared his throat awkwardly.
"Well, I didn't notice." Louis smiled, his teeth sparkling from the constant use of whitening strips. He had a horrible smoking habit, and tried to mask it by using intense whitening strips. It made his teeth hurt like hell, but. Beauty is pain right?
"Thanks," Harry responded, still holding the tissue to Louis' nose. "What's your name love?" He asked, making Louis' heart flutter.
"Louis," He smiled, "Louis Tomlinson. My sister Lottie is in your dance company."
"Louis, that suits you." Harry smiled, his voice was slow and deep, it made everything that came out of his mouth seem so well thought out. So genuine. "I love Lotts, she's great," he added, looking over to where Lottie stood with Niall, smiling.
"Yeah she's wonderful, a hard worker that's for sure. A bit messy though," he said the second part extra loud to gain Lottie's attention, in return she stuck her middle finger up.
Louis rolled his eyes and giggled. "What's your name by the way?" He asked. He already knew it was Harry, Lottie told him that a bit earlier, but Harry didn't have to know that.
"It's Harry," He replied, pulling the tissue away from Louis' nose which was no longer bleeding. "Styles" he added his surname as an afterthought.
"Well Harry Styles, would you like to go out to dinner with me tonight?" He grinned, making Harry blush.
"Um, I'm sorry what?" Harry was a bit startled, he hadn't been expecting that at all.
"Dinner? Ya know, eating food, together... at a restaurant" Louis said in a sarcastic tone, but his smile made it obvious he was only kidding around.
"I.. uh.. yeah okay, that sounds great" Harry replied, a small smile tugging at the sides of his pink lips. He hadn't been on a date in ages, and he wasn't sure how to respond honestly. He was excited though, so excited.
"Great, well I'm starved so lets get going!" Louis stood up, and Harry got a little flustered.
"Wait, like right now? I.. I'm a mess I need to fix my makeup, and change.." He listed, all nervously.
"You look fine love," Louis responded and Harry's cheeks turned pink when he'd been called 'love.' He was dressed in leggings and a tee-shirt, his typical post-performance attire.
"I... well thanks. I guess we can go now then" Harry smiled nervously, and Louis nearly burst out of his own skin from excitement.
"Perfect!" He exclaimed, sounding so happy that Harry couldn't help but giggle. "I'll see you two later tonight!" Louis added, looking over his shoulder at Lottie and Niall as they walked away.
---
"So.. tell me about yourself Curly," Louis smiled, sipping at his soda.
"Ummmm" Harry moved his fork, the Caesar salad that sat in front of him getting pushed around his plate. Being a dancer meant a strict diet, and his mouth watered at Louis' steak. He wished he could eat something like that. "Well I grew up with just me, my older sister and my mum. Maybe that has something to do with why I wanted to be a dancer," he gigled softly, taking a small bite. "But yeah, honestly besides dance, there's not a lot to know about me. It's what I do almost all day, everyday."
Louis nodded, he knew dance could be taxing. And pretty consuming as well, considering Lottie was gone more than she was home. "Is that why you got a salad?" He asked, mentally face palming the moment it left his mouth. He was so nervous and not thinking things through at all. "Sorry- I.. I didn't mean for it to come off rude. Lottie just always talks about how strict they are with diet and all.." he trailed off, his cheeks redder than the tomatoes on Harry's plate.
Harry laughed a little, "Don't be sorry! Yeah.. it is. They keep us on a pretty tight leash, we have weekly measurements, weigh ins... all of that." He sighed, that was one of the biggest downsides honestly, he was having to constantly pay attention to his body and every calorie he put in it.
"They shouldn't have to do that... it's not fair" Louis always got a bit upset by that aspect. The way Lottie would sometimes skip meals, or decline desserts always made him sad, and it was obvious Harry was living that life too.
"I mean yeah, I suppose you're right. But I dunno.. it's better than the other options" Harry shrugged.
"Other options?" Louis raised an eyebrow.
"Well.. a lot of the other dancers do heroin" he said in a hushed tone, "They say it makes them stay skinnier. Plus they like the feeling I guess too, makes their aching feet and joints less painful, and the worries go away. But, I'm really not into that kind of thing. I don't wanna throw my life away and become an addict ya know?"
Louis nodded, his heartbeat picking up a little as he worried about his baby sister. Was she doing drugs too?
"Also.. a lot of them throw up their food," Harry's eyes darkened, looking hurt. "Our coach actually instructs us to go throw up before every performance, wanting out tummies to be 'perfectly flat.' " He rolled his eyes, "Pretty fucked up isn't it?"
Louis swallowed thickly. "Yeah... that's horrible. Does Lottie.. um you know.." He trailed off, but Harry knew exactly what he was getting at.
"No, no. She doesn't do heroin, and she doesn't throw up either. There's a small few of us who refuse. When we all go to the toilets before performances, we honestly just fake it." Harry explained, and Louis let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank God." He muttered, and Harry giggled again. His giggles were so adorable.
"What about you? Tell me some more about you Louis." Harry said with a genuine smile.
---
Harry and Louis had been dating for about a month when it happened.
It was around 3 AM and Louis woke up to the sound of his phone vibrating on his nightstand. He grabbed it, blearily looking at the screen, blinking a few times to focus his vision.
Incoming call from Unknown.
Normally he would just ignore it and go back to sleep, but something in his gut was telling him to just answer the damn phone, despite the sleep trying to tug at him again.
" 'ello?"
* * * *
"Fuck this," the blue eyed man ran his hands through his hair, pushing himself away from his desk and going to the large glass window. The rain was falling steadily and somewhere far below his office, it was splashing against the busy roads of New York City.
He was so lost in his thoughts he didn't notice his friend beside him until he spoke. "What's up with you Louis?" His Irish accent was thick and unmistakable.
"Just.." he sighed, "I dunno why I decided to do this. Have you tried writing about yourself in the third person? It's fucking hard. I shouldn't have taken this on, I dunno why I thought I could do this."
"I dunno why you did either mate," Niall laughed, earning a harsh glare from the shorter man. "Sorry, sorry. Only joking. I know why you did. I support it wholeheartedly. I think this will be a good experience for you, branching out into a new side of the creative world."
"Telling my own story isn't creative." Louis said bitterly. "I should've just taken a job at McDonald's or something."
"Lou-" Niall hated when he got like this. He hated so much of who his best friend had become. "This really could be good for you, it will-"
"No. Stop. I don't wanna hear it" Louis held his hand up. "Exploiting my own downfall is nothing to be proud of. Exploiting his downfall is even more shameful. I shouldn't be doing this."
"This is the fastest way to get your money back Louis. I know it sucks but... I dunno. People will buy it. This book will make millions Lou. Millions." Niall said, putting a hand on his arm.
"I know." Louis whispered, staring out at the rain. "I know."
A/N- I'm excited to be getting back to working on this story! Lots more to come, so be prepared! Xx -Sunnie
