Date: 5th July, 2017.

My college starts tomorrow, whoop.

Sorry for all the spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, I'll edit them out later.

Fayth and Caiden sat in a booth opposite to each other, talking when suddenly, Caiden whipped out his phone and took a picture of Fayth, mid-laugh.

"What are you doing?" Fayth asked him, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"I just want to show my mum what my next girlfriend looks like," Caiden winked and Fayth turned into a deep shade of red. She was a blushing mess. Seeing Fayth's blushing face did nothing but encourage Caiden.

"I wanna live in your socks so I can be with you every step of the way," He smirked and she shook her head.

"That was very lame," The brunette spoke, chuckling a bit.

"But you liked it," Caiden retorted.

"I can't argue with that," Fayth let out a breezy laugh.

"Okay, I've got a few more up my sleeve."

"Bring it on."

"Let me tie your shoes, cause I don't want you falling for anyone else."

"Caiden, c'mon. That is like a million years old."

Caiden's face fell as he realised that he wasn't as original as he thought. He racked his brains for good pick up lines but all he could come up with were cliche ones.

"Were you in Boy Scouts? Because you sure have tied my heart in a knot."

Fayth laughed and asked him that what was that even supposed to mean?

"See these keys?" Caiden asked gesturing the bunch of keys he held in his hand.

"Yeah?" Fayth asked, confused.

"I wish I had the one to your heart."

"Oh, my God, Caiden! That was so cheesy!"

"I like cheesy," he mumbled under his breath.

Fayth giggled and agreed because everyone needed a little cheesy, once in a while.

"Me without you is like a nerd without braces, A shoe without laces, aSentenceWithoutSpaces," Caiden half-smirked and Fayth cringed.

Both of them burst into a fit of giggles and Fayth criticised him saying how that pick up line made her want to throw up. It was too cheesy for her liking.

"Is your last name Gillette? Because you are the best a man can get."

When Fayth did no react, he sighed. Caiden wasn't the one to give up. He continued spitting pick up lines after pick up lines.

"Do you like Nintendo? Because Wii would look good together."

"That was a good one," Fayth laughed, but she didn't blush.

All Caiden wanted to do was see her blush. He wanted to see how her pale cheeks get coloured a deep shade of scarlet, making her face glow. Her face made her eyes look brighter and more lively. Caiden loved it when Fayth blushed.

"I thought happiness started with an H. Why does mine start with U?"

"Because you're dyslexic," Fayth answered, not impressed.

"If I could rearrange the alphabet, I would put 'U' and 'I' together," Caiden said, a little wary of this line.

"That's not needed when 'N' and 'O' are already next to each other," Fayth said rolling her eyes.

Caiden shook his head, laughing. He was impressed.

Fayth was laughing, and she looked so beautiful. Caiden stared at her in awe.

"What?" She asked, touching her face to see if there was something on it.

"You're so beautiful that you made me forget my pickup line."

Ah. There was the blush that Caiden wanted to see. Her cheeks heated up and they turned red. Caiden grinned in victory. He sat there staring at her for the longest of times.

Fayth looked around the small cafe. She spotted a jukebox and her eyes lit up. This was brilliant!

"Do you want to dance?" She asked Caiden, confidence oozing out of her.

"There's no music?" Caiden asked confused.

"Oh, but there is."

Fayth slid out of the booth, walking over to the jukebox. She selected 'The Night We Met' by Lord Huron and soon the music filled the cafe.

It was four thirty in the morning and these two were the only ones in the cafe except the fifty-year-old lady working behind the counter. Caiden pushed aside the chairs and tables as Fayth selected the song to create a makeshift dance floor. Fayth walked over the dance floor and stood in front of Caiden. He gently placed his hands on Fayth's waist hesitantly but then he relaxed once Fayth smiled at him. She then proceeded to wrap her hands around his neck, playing with the hair on the back of his neck.

He music played softly and they swayed and danced. Caiden pull Fayth closer.

Instead of resting her head on his shoulder as she'd been doing, she looked up at Caiden. They were just centimetres apart. One move and they'd be kissing.

They started into each other's eyes as Caiden complimented Fayth saying that she was beautiful, absolutely gorgeous, fucking ostentatious.

Caiden moved his hands from Fayth's waist, to her ribcage, to her shoulder and finally rested it to cup her neck. He traced her cheek with his thumb and smiled slightly.

He leaned in slowly, testing the waters. Fayth closed her eyes and leaned in, too.

Their lips touched and all both of them could feel was electricity running through their veins.

Fayth finally understood the sparks they talked about in the books. She felt all tingly inside and she smiled into the kiss. So did Caiden. They pulled away for air and grinned. Fayth was blushing and Caiden cupped her face with both his hands, kissing her again.

"I've been waiting to do that all night." Caiden spoke up, blushing a bit and scratching the back of his neck.

"Me, too," Fayth admitted, blushing ferociously.

Soon, the song finished and is replaced by another slow song. The lady behind the counter smiled as she remembered dancing with her late husband, righ here, in this cafe.

Let's just say there was a lot of dancing and kissing done.

When the clock struck five, they exited the cafe, taking two coffees to go. They walked around the streets, talking about their dreams and passions, their fingers intertwined.

"You know, Fayth. You're extremely gorgeous, inside out. Do me a favour and never change that."

"Never," Fayth agreed, squeezing Caiden's hand as a promise that she meant to keep.
