Hemadri's POV

As the sun's rays touched my skin, I opened my eyes. I sat up straight and tried to recall last night. I remembered what happened at the bachelorette party. Then when I returned to the hotel, how I accidentally landed in front of his room and noticed his swollen eyes.

"Damm.. Hema.. itna sab hone ke baad bhi usne tujhe room mein choda..warna mere itne shorse koi room se bahar aa jaata aur.. " I hit hard my legs on the bed.

I got off the bed and moved out of the room. I headed towards his room and knocked hard but he wasn't responding. It seems like he wasn't inside the room, I moved downstairs to the hotel lobby but couldn't find him.

I came to the pool area and found him inside the pool. Myra was along with him and he was having a fun time with her. He tickled her and she laughed. He held her face in between his palm and kissed her.

"Myra..." I screamed at the top of my lungs.

She turned towards me and smiles "Hey hema.. Good morning"

"What is good about this morning? Aaj Haldi hai meri... help me out with outfits" I shouted at her.

"Coming.." she said. She steps out of the pool.

"Mr. Rocco.. Shrestha wants you in her room right now!" I yelled at him.

He glanced at her and steps out of the pool. He walked passed by her but she held her wrist and pulled him back "Toh Myra ko bhi kiss karne ke liye paise liye tumne?"

"Tumhe batana zaroori nahi samajhta main!" he replied and removes her hand from him. He walked back into the hotel.

Aarav sighed deeply, he meet Myra on the way and smiled "Thanks.. For the help"

"Your welcome sweetheart! Chalo jhooth mooth hi sahi tumne mere lips ko almost touch toh kiya" she said laughingly.

Aarav smiles lightly. He walks towards Shrestha's room but stops when he finds Alok near the lift. He was holding his chest, Aarav rushed to him and hold him "Sir.. aap thik hai?"

"Beta.. wo.." he was panting heavily. Aarav held his arm and places it around his neck. He helps him walk and brings him to his room which was just a few doors away.

He makes him sit on the couch and rubs his palm lightly. Aarav was trying to figure out what happened to him. Alok closed his eyes and Aarav said "sir.. Dheere dheere saanse lijiye"

Aarav places his hand on his heart and gently presses it. He knows the trick as he had learned from his father in childhood how to handle such situations. He knew he was getting a minor heart attack, Alok after a few minutes opened his eyes and was feeling relaxed.

Aarav went and got the glass of water. He made him have it and slowly Alok gets normal. "Sir thik hai na aap?" he questioned softly

Alok looked at him and smiles "thank you beta.. Lekin ye tumhe kaise? Tum doctor ho kya?" he asked

"Nahi sir mere bauji vaid they toh mujhe pata hai" Aarav replied

Alok kept his hand on his head and blessed him "aise anjaan ki madad koi nahi karta hai beta.. Anjaan desh mein.. Bahut ache sanskar diye hai tumhare maa baap ne tumhe"

Aarav smiles hearing him and his eyes gets moist. "Chalyie aapko aapke kamre mein chod aata hun aur main hotel ke doctor ko bhi janta hun wo ek baar aapko aake dekh lenge" he said.

Alok gets up and Aarav helps him walk toward his room.

"Beta tumhe maine Hemadri ki engagement mein bhi dekha tha.. Tum Saahil ke gharwalo ki tarah se ho?" He asked

Aarav stopped for a moment and denied "nahi main Shreshta ka dost hun.."

Alok nodded, Aarav knocked on the door and I opened the door. I was shocked to find my father with him. I glanced at his state "papa kya hua aapko?" I asked in concern.

"Beta andar toh aane do" he said

I stepped aside and let him inside. Aarav made him lie on the bed, and soon the doctor arrives to check on him. Rano was sitting beside him holding his hand.

"Heart attack aate aate bacha hai khayal rakhiye apna" the doctor said and gave some medicines.

"Thank you doc.." I thank him

"Thank you kehna hai toh iss naujawan ko kaho beta.. Isne bachayi hai meri jaan" Alok said all praising him.

Rano got up and moved to him. She folds her hands in front of him "bahut bahut sukhriya tumhara beta.. Inhe kuch ho jaata toh pata nhi kya karte hum... "

Aarav held her hand and puts them down "please aap aise haath mat jodiye mere aage.. Mujhe jo sahi laga wo maine kiya"

"Bhagwaan tumhe har khushi de beta.." she blessed him.

He smiles and leaves the room. I was left flabbergasted at my place. Rano gives medicine to my father, he said "Rano.. ye Shrestha ka dost hai bahut hi acha ladka hai.."

"Haaji.. Maine dekha tha ise engagement mein pehle toh mujhe bilkul acha nahi laga shrestha ne ise bulaya par kehte hai na bhagwaan jo karte hai ache ke liye karte hai.." she said

Alok nodded, I run out and saw him waiting for the lift. I hugged him tightly from behind and said "thank you.. Papa ki jaan bachayi tumne...Aarav tum sach mein ache insaan ho main hamesha se sahi thi tumhare baare mein"

Aarav parted her away and turned to her "main nahi janta tha wo tumhare father hai.. Insaniyat ke naate maine unki madad ki iska koi aur matlab mat nikalo tum.. Abhi toh wo aashirwad de rahe hai par jab janne meri asliyat toh yahi aashirward sharp ban jayega..meri muskile aur mat badhao hemadri.. Shreshta se kahke mujhe wapas jaane do"

I sighed in disappointment. "thik hai jao tum" I declared

He looked at me in a state of shock "kya?" 

"haa jao tum" I said angrily as I had enough of tolerating him. I thought, he will try to stop this marriage but no he is happy to get hurt by me and hurt me too.

My cousin came and called me to get ready for the Haldi ceremony. I walked back to my room and got ready for the function.

Shreshta said, "Hema.. are you okay?"

"Aarav ko wapas jaane de.." I said

She was shocked to hear me "What?? lekin kyun?" 

I glanced at her "manti hun he broke my heart, Myra ke saath bhi jo bhi hai wo bhi hurt kar raha hai lekin ab main use ya khudko aur hurt nahi kar sakti..  wo apni zid nahi chodega aur main ab apni self respect nahi kho sakti" 

Shreshta understood "thik hai jaise teri marzi.. maine toh socha tha tum dono patch up karloge par.." 

"let him go," I said. 

Shreshta left the room to inform him that he can leave. Shreshta knocked on his hotel room, he opened the door and she marched inside. 

She did something on her phone and glanced at him "tumhara abtak tha payment all had been transferred.. you are all free to go now" 

He wanted to speak something but Shreshta moved to the door. She turned and looked at him "You don't trust your love right?" 

"nahi.. aisa nahi hai"

"Chodna aasan hai par nibhana muskil.. maine socha tha tum mere bf ki tarah nahi ho par tumne toh koshish bhi nahi ki apne pyaar ke liye ladne ki.." she said meaningfully and left from there.  

The event was organized at the poolside, the music was playing aloud and the guests were dancing to the tune of it. Shrestha came over and I looked at her, she signaled me her work is done. My eyes turn moist as I won't be able to see him now. 

She sat down beside me and asked "Thik ho na?" 

I smiled fakely at him "haa.." 

Rano questioned "Shrestha Aarav kahan hai?"

"chachi wo use bahut zaroori kaam tha isliye wo wapas chala gaya" she informed her

"Are aise kaise chala gaya? Hema ki shaadi ke liye aaya tha na.." Rano said

I exchanged glances with Shrestha. 

"hum jaane kaise dete inhe Ranoji.." my father's voice hit my ears. I looked behind Rano and Aarav was standing with my father. 

He looked at me for a moment and I turned away. Rano held his hand and took him to the relatives introducing him to them. She praised him how he saved Alok's life. 

I glared at Shreshta "tune toh kaha tha ye chala gaya.." 

"maine toh khud ise checkout karte dekha tha.." she confirmed. 

"ye chahta kya hai mujhe samajh nahi aata hai.." I wondered. 

Myra whispered in my ear "hema.. Raat ki party ke bahut guests hai yahan agar kisine ise pehchan liya toh?"

"Koi nahi pehchanega.. Sab itne talli they kuch yaad bhi nhi hoga inhe tu apna muh band rakh samjhi" I glared at her. 

"I am not saying anything.." she placed her finger on her lips. 

I glanced at Saahil and was still unable to build even a friendship with him. I can never stay happy with him, this marriage will be just a compromise for me. 

My mother came to me and applied Haldi on my face and body. Everyone did the ritual and then Rano handed the remaining Haldi to Shreshta "le beta ye saamne Saahil ki maa ko de aa.."

"Ji chachi" she nodded and moved toward the other end of the pool. A ball came in her way and she ends up dropping. Aarav held her hand so that she doesn't fall to the ground.

Shreshta smiled "Thanks.."

I glanced at him and accidentally Haldi falls on his sherwani. A smile appears on my face before Saahil gets my Haldi.

"Hema chal jaake nahale.." Rano said

I got up and walked towards the hotel entrance. Aarav's sherwani had some Haldi spots so he also commenced in the same direction as mine. We collided with each other and he grabbed me from the waist. I placed my hand around his neck to stop myself from falling. I looked into his eyes and couldn't gaze off from him. The music stopped and Aarav broke the trance with it. He made me stand properly and I noticed Haldi on his neck, unintentionally we ended up applying Haldi to each other. 

Aarav looked at me  "bado ki baat nahi taal sakta tha isliye ruk gaya" he gave me an explanation for his stay. I ignored him and walked away.
