Hemadri's POV

It has been a month since I had returned home but my parents had hardly spoken to me. I was at home but was feeling like a stranger. I was in pain with the breakup but my parents' behaviour upsets me more. I just wanted their forgiveness.

I tried my best to convince them but nothing was working in my favour. One evening, my father was sitting outside. It was getting cold, so I took the jacket and said "papa thand bhad gayi hai aap ye pehen lijiye"

He glared at me "ye sab karke tumhe maafi nahi milegi"

"Kyun nahi papa?? Kya apne sapne pure karna galat hai?" I questioned

Rano eyed at her "Hema tum aise baat nahi karogi apne papa se" she said

"Maa main bas sawal kar rahi hun! Manti hun maine jo kiya galat tha shaadi waale din aise mujhe nahi jaana chahiye lekin mujhe mauka dubara nahi milta" I tried to explain.

"Apne maa baap ki ijzat uchalke tumne kya paa liya waha pe?" Alok questioned her.

I looked at him with moist eyes. I said "papa waha pe maine khudko sambhalna seekha hai.. Ye jaana hai ki zindagi jeene ke liye pati ki zaroorat nahi hoti hai! Bahut muskil aati thi usne maine akele ladai ki.. Aap dono ki bahut yaaad aati thi jab meri himmat toot jaati thi lekin kabhi maine haar nahi maani.."

He looked at me emotionally, I further added "sab mila waha par aap dono nahi isliye laut aayi.. Main janti hun bahut dil dukhaya hai maine aapka aur mumma ka par I promise ab wahi hoga jo aap dono chahte hai" I said holding his hand.

"Rehne de Hemadri.. Iss tarah baatein karke tum.." Rano spoke

"Maa.. please.." I requested her to forgive me.

Alok takes a deep breath "tujhe hamari maafi chahiye na.. Thik hai phir tujhe shaadi karni hogi" he said.

I looked on at him, Rano said "Alokji kyun aap phirse apni ijzat samaaj mein uchalwana chahte hai? Ye ladki phirse bhaag jayegi aur badnaami humhe uthani padegi"

"Manzur hai papa.. Aap jisse kahoge main usse shaadi karungi aap dono ko hurt nahi karungi dubara" I said, Rano was stunned hearing me. I run back inside the house and climbed the stairs. I entered the room and lay down on the bed.

Rano said "Alok ji aap phirse apni beti pe bharosa karke galti kar rahe hai"

"Nahi Rano ji.. uski aankh mein maine ajeeb sa dard dekha hai... aur bache galti karte hai hamara farz hai unhe maaf karna aur beti ghar laut aayi sahi salamat isse zyada kya chahiye haan?" Alok questioned her

"Lekin.."

"Ek mahine se hum kitni berukhi se usse baat kar rahe hai.. Phir bhi wo koshish kar rahi hai na humhe manane ki! Chahti toh wapas laut jaati par nahi gayi aur galat nahi kaha usne humne use wo azaadi nahi di jo ladki ko deni chahiye" Alok said trying to understand the action of his daughters.

Rano sighed deeply, he held her hand and said "maa baap hai hum Rano ji bache chahe muh pherle hum nahi pher sakte.."

Rano gets tears in her eyes, her heart finally melts hearing his words. "Sahi kaha aapne.. Main aur kator nahi ho sakti apni hi beti se.." she said

I remembered Aarav, the moments spent with him and with ease he broke up with me. I felt my father's presence in the room. I sat up straight and he sat down beside me. He looked at me and asked "iss baar tumpe apna faisla nahi thopna chahta hun.."

"Papa please.. Aap jo faisla lenge mere liye sahi hoga" I declared as I didn't want to hurt him more.

A smile appeared on his face and he finally keeps his hand on my head. I hugged him tightly and he caressed my head.

"Chalo khana khate hai hmm.." he said

I nodded and moved downstairs with him. Rano smiled at me and made me sit on the chair. I glanced at the table and there were my favourite dishes. I looked at her emotionally and she tapped my cheek lightly "sab teri pasand ka bana hai jaldi se khale.."

"I am sorry maa.." I apologise.

"Ek baat yaad rakhna hemadri iss baar agar kuch aisa waisa toh hum zinda nahi rah payenge beta.." Rano said and I shook my head positively. I promised them, I won't repeat my mistake and marry the person of their choice despite being still in love with Aarav.

Third Person POV

London, Uk

Aarav and Chetna were at the cafe having a coffee. Chetna noticed the charm missing on his face, she kept her hand on his "main janti hun tumhe use bahut yaad karte ho lekin tum ye bhi jaanlo tum dono kabhi ek nahi ho sakte"

"Ek hi baat baar baar repeat mat karo Chetna! I know it.." he gets angry at her for repeating the same thing again.

She glared at me and shouts "mujhpe kyun gussa nikal rahe ho? Jao india aur maanglo uska haath uske maa baap se"

He glanced at her and understands the meaning of her words. He sighed and said "sorry."

His phone buzzed and there was a new client meeting for him. He informed her and moved out of the cafe. Chetna thought "mujhe Aarav ko wo sab nahi kehna chahiye tha maine toh apna hasta muskurata apna dost hi kho diya hai.." she wished she could help him out but she herself was trapped in this mud.

Aarav reached the address, entered the flat and was left shocked to see Myra "Tum.." he shouts

Myra's eyes lightened seeing him, she run to him and hugged him tightly "finally.. I have the hottest escort"

He jerks her away and glared at her. "Listen.. Door raho mujhse tum.. Tumhari wajah se meri life barbaad ho gayi hai" he screams

"What?? Maine kya kiya?" she questioned

"Uss raat tumne hi mujhe bulaya tha na.. Na tum mujhe bulati na main Hemadri se milta aur na usse pyaar hota.. Aur na majburan mujhe uska dil todna padta.." he confronts her.

Myra pulls him closer and moves her fingers on his face "shh.. Maine tumhe yahan apne liye bulaya hai.. Jo just do your job"

He pushes her back "Myra.. I am sorry but I can't"

"Kyun?? Bahut depressed hun main.. I need some fun.." she said

He looked behind and there was a liquor bottle. He called someone and after 15 minutes his colleague came.

"I am sorry Myra par meri jagah he will have fun with you bye.." He said and left from there before as for him it will be cheating on Hemadri with her best friend which his soul didn't permit him.

A smile appears on Myra's face and cursed herself "damm.. Myra how could you? Escort hai par phir bhi apni gf ki dost ko touch nahi karna chahta.. Sahi thi Hemadri iske jaisa insaan nahi milega.."

She texted Hemadri about what happened between her and Aarav.

Mumbai, India

Hemadri was sitting in front of the dressing and getting ready for the day. She looked at herself in the mirror, she sees Aarav standing behind her. She turned but he disappears from there. She closes her eyes for a moment, why can't she just forget him? She wished that night never appeared in her life which made her fall for him.

Her phone beeped, she picked it up and it was a text from Myra. She was about to read it but her mother entered the room and she kept the phone back on the dressing.

"Neeche aaja ladke waale aa gaye hai" Rano said

She got up and moved downstairs with her.. She had to bring back the pride and honour her parents lost due to her in past. She settled on the couch and greeted the guests.

"Beta London mein kaha padhai ki hai tumne?" the mother asked

"University of London mei" She replied.

"Beta.. Saahil ko apna room dikhao aur baat karlo" Rano said

"Maa.. mujhe ye rishta manzur hai" She said without evening bothering about how he man is. Everyone was surprised hearing her words.

Saahil smiled at her "mujhe bhi ye ladki pasand hai.. Aur baatein toh shaadi ke baad hoti hi rahengi aap log jaisa chahe" he said

Rano gave sweets to the Saahil family as the alliance gets fixed. They performed the roka ceremony and she notices the smile on her parents' faces, which she missed seeing since the day she had returned home.
