No one's POV

Currently, Death Gun is standing over Sinon as he aimed his hand gun at her and she continued to looked at him terrified and just as Death Gun was about to shoot her, Sinon started thinking about Zora.

Sinon(mind): What it means to be strong, to be brave. I thought, somehow...I could learn those thing from, Zora. I don't want to die! I don't want to give up!

Suddenly, Sinon heard a gun shot and closed her eyes, but she didn't feel anything and saw that her HP didn't drop and she opened her eyes and saw Death Gun had been shot from the shoulder and was suddenly shot by multiple bullets hitting him and he took cover and pulled out his sniper and shot at the person who shot him, and Sinon saw a grenade flew over her and she looked completely shocked.

Sinon: A Grenade?!

Death Gun saw the Grenade and ran away and Sinon close her eyes and was expecting an explosion, but a smoke appeared and started covering her and someone ran up to her and grabbed her sniper and carried her bridal style and she saw it was Zora.

Sinon: Zo...Ra...

Zora: Sinon secured!

Kirito: Then follow me!

Zora and Kirito then started running and Zora continued to carried Sinon away from Death Gun.

Sinon: I'm slowing you guys down. Just leave me...

Zora: That's not an option...

Kirito: There's no way we're gonna let you die...

A shot suddenly hit Zora at his shoulder and they looked back and saw Death Gun chasing them.

Kirito: Go! I'll cover you...

Zora nodded his head and continued to run and they came across som buggies and a mechanical horse.

Sinon: Not the horse. It can go fast, but it's to hard to handle.

Zora walked up to the buggy and lay Sinon on the back seat and put her sniper besides her and Zora start up the buggy and Kirito got on his own and the two of them drove away, but stopped and looked at Sinon.

Zora: Sinon, get your rifle and blow that horse away!

Sinon: What? Alright, I'll try...

Sinon then aimed her gun at the horse and went to pull the trigger, but couldn't and she looked completely shocked.

Sinon: No! My finger...I can't pull it... I can't do it...I can't pull the trigger!

Zora, Kirito and Sinon looked back and saw Death Gun and Sinon looked terrified and Zora pull Sinon to her seat.

Zora: Sinon, hang on tight! Kirito, floor it!

Kirito: On it!

Both Zora and Kirito then drove away from Death Gun.

Sinon: Can we outrun him?

Zora then looked at the rearview mirror and his eyes widened.

Kirito: Stay sharp Damn it!

Zora: Don't let your guard down!

Sinon looked back and saw Death Gun riding the mechanical horse that she couldn't destroy and she looked completely horrified.

Sinon: No...why...? He's catching up...

Sinon then held Zora tightly, as she was completely horrified.

Sinon: Go faster! Please...don't let him catch up to us!

Zora and Kirito increased their speed, but Death Gun continued to catch up to them and

Death Gun pull out his hand gun and aimed at Sinon, and she saw the bullet line was on her face and she looked terrified and moved her head just as the bullet flew past her head, and she held Zora even tighter, even more terrified than before.

Sinon: NO!!!

Death Gun continued to fire at Sinon, trying to hit her and she held Zora so tight and was completely horrified.

Sinon: Help me...I can't do this...I don't want to die!

Zora and Kirito looked back and saw Death Gun was catching up to them and looked at Sinon who was holding him tightly completely terrified.

Kirito: Hey Sinon...snap out of it!

Zora: Listen, he's catching up with us...you need to pick up your gun and shoot him!

Sinon: No I can't...!

Kirito: You don't have to hit him! Just distract him!

Sinon then held Zora even tighter.

Sinon: I can't...

Zora: Yes you can...I know you can...

Sinon: No please...don't make me...don't make me...

Zora: Then take the wheel and let me do it! Give me your gun and I'll shoot him!

Sinon: Hecate...she's part of me...I'm the only one who can use her...

Sinon then picked up her sniper and aimed at Death Gun, but she still couldn't pull the trigger.

Sinon: I can't do it...I can't shoot. I can't move my finger. I can't...I can't fight anymore.

Kirito: You can! Everyone can fight if they want too.

Zora: It's just a matter of choice, will you give up or will you fight?!

Sinon just lower her head.

Sinon: If it were my choice, then I don't want to fight anymore. I'm done...I don't want to suffer anymore...I thought I can get stronger playing this game...but I was wrong!

Zora then reached over and put his hand over Sinon's and she looked at him surprised.

Zora: I'll lend you a hand! So you have to try! You can do this! So please...do it once...Just move your finger.

Zora then guide Sinon's finger to the trigger and look at Kirito.

Zora: Kirito!

Kirito: I'm already on it!

Kirito then went ahead and Zora continued to guide Sinon's hand to the trigger.

Sinon: It's no good...with all this shaking around...I can't lock on...

Zora: It's okay...the shaking is gonna stop in three...two...one...NOW!

Both Zora and Kirito ramped off a sign and their buggies started floating in the air, allowing Sinon to steady her aim and she looked at Zora completely shocked.

Sinon(mind): How does he do it? How could he be so calm at a time like this? No, it's not that he's being calm...he's giving it everything his gotten...when he fights...he goes all out every time, no excuses! That's it...that's where he gets his strength...

With Zora's help, Sinon aimed her gun at Death Gun and shoot him, but missed and hit the car next to him.

Sinon(mind): I missed...

The car then exploded, taking Death Gun along with it and the three of them drove away.

(Timeskip)

After escaping Death Gun, Zora, Kirito and Sinon drove into a desert area looking for a hideout to avoid the nest scan.

Kirito: This is not good. We're like sitting ducks out here, we need to find some cover!

Sinon: I think I see a cave over there. If we hide inside, we can avoid the Satellite Sacn.

Zora: Alright, let's go.

The three of them then went into the cave Sinon saw, and Zora and Sinon went inside while Kirito stay near the entrance to keep watch.

Kirito: What happened back there? It's like he just popped up out of nowhere?

Zora: We didn't see him on the scan, that means he got some kind of cloaking skill? Is there a skill like that here?

Sinon: Yeah there is. It's a skill called Meta-material Optic Camouflage. We're safe, for now anyway. Even if he's invisible, the sand our rough here, we'll make a crunch if he moves. We'll see his foot print too. So he can't sneak up like he did before.

Zora: I see. Well, I guess we'll keep our eyes  and ears open.

Zora then sat next to Sinon, and Kirito sat near the entrance.

Sinon: Hey, Zora. Do you think there's a chance, Death Gun was killed in that explosion?

Zora: No...the second before that truck blew up...I saw him jumped away from that mechanical horse. He might've gotten unscathed, but I can't believe that blast killed him.

Sinon: I see. When he had me at his sight back at that stadium, I thought I was a goner. How'd you guys know I was in trouble? And how'd you get to me so fast from your position?

Kirito: Gunner X was not Death Gun.

Zora: With just a single look, you can tell that Gunner X is not Death Gun.

Sinon: How do you mean?

Zora: I know a women when I see one. Unlike a certain trap here.

Kirito: Hey!

Zora: The second we saw her, I knew we overlook something big, but I didn't know what though. By the way, even though her avatar says "Gunner X" she call herself "Musketeer X". And after, we took out Musketeer X, I look o9ver at the South and saw you laying there in the street. So we knew you were in trouble, so Kirito grabbed her rifle and grenade and distract him, while I go save you.

Sinon: I can't believe I let my guard down like that...

Zora: Don't beat yourself up over it. I mean, is not like I knew he was hiding down there either. And if our role was flip, I would've been the one getting shot instead. But, I know that you would rescue me too. Am I right?

Sinon didn't say anything and look down.

Sinon(mind): I can't believe it. My Rival is trying to make me feel better. He knows I'm weak, and here he is, consoling me. Like I'm a kid or something.

Kirito: We're heading out for a bit. You might as well sit back here and rest up. I wished you could logged out, but I know you can't. Not until the tourneys over anyway. So I'm heading out first.

Kirito then walked out and Sinon then looked at them surprised.

Sinon: You guys are going after Death Gun, aren't you? You guys think you can take him out?

Zora: We have too. He's tough and he won't go down without getting a shot or two at us. If it comes down to that, I don't know what I'll do. I might bail...but we can't drag you along with us anymore.

Sinon: Then you're scared of him too?

Zora: I am. I'm afraid of what he can do. If it was the old me, I would have jumped in and fought him. Even if there was a chance I was gonna die. But not anymore, these days there's things I have to protect. So I can't die. I don't want to...

Sinon: Things you have to protect?

Zora: Yeah, in the virtual world, and the real world.

Sinon: Okay, then don't go after him and just stay here and keep low. As long as BoB is going on, we can't log out. But once the competition is done, we can suicide out and let the other guy win! That'll end the tournament.

Zora: I get what your trying to say, that's one way of doing it. But that's not the way to do it, if we just sit here and wait for the tourney to end, there's no telling how many other players that guy is gonna kill.

Sinon: Yeah...

Sinon then looked down saddened.

Sinon(mind): You really are strong after all...

Sinon: I'm not gonna hide either.

Zora: Huh?

Sinon: I'm going outside and help you take that bastard out.

Zora: No your not! Haven't you been listening?! If he shoots you, there's a chance you'll die! As a player, close combat my specialty. It's not yours. You're in way more danger than us, cause he can be invisible when he wants. He'll appear next to you and kill you.

Sinon: I don't care if I die...

Zora looked at Sinon completely shocked.

Sinon: I was scare out of my mind back in that stadium. I was scare I was gonna die. I was even weaker when I was 5 years ago...like a screaming crying little girl...if that's how I'm gonna be for the rest of my life, I rather be dead.

Zora: It's only natural to be afraid. I don't know anyone who's not afraid of dying.

Sinon: Yeah well, I hate it. I'm tired of being afraid...I'm so tired...whatever, I'm not asking to go with you...I'll fight by myself.

Sinon stood up and went to leave, but Zora grabbed her armed stopping her.

Zora: You want to fight alone...and die alone. Is that what your saying?

Sinon: Yeah, I was always suppose to die alone...

Sinon tried to pull away from Zora, but he continued to hold her hand tightly.

Sinon: Let go! I have to do this...

Zora: You got it all wrong...there's no dying alone...it's not that simple. When you die, you will leave a hole in the people's life you were part of. And like it or not, your now a part of my life!

Sinon: Yeah well, I never ask to be a part of it! Besides...my life is no one else's business but mine.

Zora: Your wrong, we're already involve in each others life's now!

Sinon gritted her teeth when she heard that and grabbed Zora by the collar and looked completely furious and Zora saw she had tears streaming down her eyes.

Sinon: Alright! If that's how it is then you can protect me for the rest of my life!

Even more tears started streaming down her eyes and she started hitting Zora in his chest and Zora just looked at her.

Sinon: You don't know anything...and you can't do anything so don't go saying stuff like that! This isn't your fight, is mine, MINE YOU GOT THAT!!!

Zora:...

Sinon: Even if I lose, even if I die, no one can blame for what I did!!

Zora:...

Sinon: You want to help!! Your gonna carry this burden with me?!! Then what?! Huh?! Your gonna hold my hand...? EVEN THOUGH THEY GOT BLOOD ALL OVER THEM?!?!

Sinon continued to hit Zora in his chest and Zora didn't say anything and hold her and but she slapped it away and started crying even more and hit Zora's chest and pressed her head on his chest before looking at him with tears streaming down her face.

Sinon: I HATE YOU! I HATE YOUR GUTS!! I hate you...

Sinon fell to her knees and Zora knelt down in front of her and hugged her tightly and comfort her, and Sinon continued to cry on his chest and Zora continued to hold her tightly.
