The next day...

Emarah: "(yawning) Morning."

Rez is already looking out towards the spore filled sky.

Rez: "Morning."

Emarah places her arm in it's sling.

Emarah: "What are you doing?"

Rez: "Thinking."

Emarah: "About what?"

Rez: "My..."

He clenches his fist.

Rez: "... memories."

Emarah: "Yeah..."

A gloomy atmosphere resonates in the room.

Rez: "How about we get some air? We could use a little positivity after that."

They slip on their masks.

Emarah: "Let's just hope that we don't get stares again."

They head outside.

Ten minutes later...

Fungi 1: "We really weren't seeing things."

They are of course, getting stared at.

Rez: "(awkwardly) They're staring, aren't they?"

Emarah: "(awkwardly) Yeah..."

They alter their course to head back to the inn.

???: "Looks like mom wasn't kidding."

A Fungi with red mushrooms, green hair, and a black, leather belt walks up to the two along with a much smaller around 2 and a half feet tall, Fungi with light blue mushrooms, purple hair, a dark grey satchel and a brown belt following behind him.

Emarah: "Huh?"

They turn around.

Red Fungi: "You really don't see that every day!"

Blue Fungi: "(sighing) Really brother?"

The heroes turn around.

Rez: "First time someone came up to talk to us."

Red Fungi: "Take a good look Clous, not many people think like you."

Clous: "(annoyed) Stop acting like I'm the younger one!"

Emarah: "What?"

The two kneel to make more of an eye level.

Red Fungi: "(curious) Hm..."

Rez: "What? Something wrong?"

Clous: "So you two were hit by the curse like me."

Emarah places her hand over her cheek.

Rez: "So the curse took your ability to age."

Clous: "And I hate it!"

Emarah gets back onto her feet.

Emarah: "You two are really creeping me out."

Clous: "Forgive us. We only heard the story from our mother and were mildly curious."

Clous and his brother walk away.

Rez: "Something made me feel as though Clous was hiding something."

Rez heads towards the inn.

Emarah: "Even I got that feeling."
