A young boy with a faded green, curly afro, light blue skin, long, pointed ears, hazel eyes, scrawny body, beige, long sleeved shirt, brown pants, brown boots, and a green pendant is running around in a gigantic cave with green moss giving it's eerie glow.

Boy: "(excited) Yay!"

He's observed by a woman who is seemingly his mother.

Mother: "Try not to go to far Rez!"

Rez trips over a rock, but gets back up quickly.

Rez: "(laughing) I won't mom!"

Rez keeps running around without a care in the world.

Mother: "(praying) Please don't give him the taboo."

Rez keeps running around for another dozen minutes before returning to his mother.'

Mother: "Happy birthday Rez."

Rez: "(smiling) Thanks mother!"

Mother: "Let's get home."

They begin to walk towards the cave's exit.

Rez: "(smiling) Running around really let's-"

A black light surrounds Rez before he begins to scream in pain.

Mother: "Rez!"

Rez: "It hurts!"

They can see how the sun has set.

Mother: "No... the Night's Taboo!"

The color dissolves from his eyes as a black moon mark forms on the back of his neck.

Rez: "I can't see!"

Rez subconsciously turns around, but sees a strange, old woman smirking behind him.

Rez: "Who's-"

The woman isn't seen by his mother at all and his vision completely fades away.

Mother: "No!"

The black light fades away as Rez stands back on his feet.

Rez: "Is this... the Night's Taboo?"

Mother: "(tearing up) It is Rez..."

His mother carries Rez to the entrance...
